EPISODE 350 — Helmets, Aqueduct, Crucifixion, and Boobs
souprman replied to JulyDiaz's topic in Comedy Bang Bang
It's funny that he's getting better at saying the catchphrase but worse at pronouncing Bronson. -
I second the bonkers. There's about 30 minutes of mind numbing exposition meant to ramp up the melodrama - then it's pure bonkers for almost 2 hours. You get; Rock v Statham & Cars that can basically do ANYTHING. I pretty much laughed my ass off the whole movie.

Hoping we get to hear directly from Mr. Denniston's magician friend at some point. -
EPISODE 186 — Waxahatchee and the Beige River

Besser: Dennis can you tell us what that song is about? DeYoung: Well, at the time I was dating this guy who was an early Roomba prototype, and I really wanted to thank him. -

EPISODE 186 — Waxahatchee and the Beige River

It took me about 5 minutes to recover from "...you're parents are both furniture." Nose had to be blown, water needed to be drank. -

Did you have her lined up already? We only asked for her like 3 or 4 weeks ago. Awesome. -
Dr Jerry Pensacola!! EDIT - Wait, no... he gets the blood singing... Shit I answered too quick and then blanked.

I have to say though that Mary Holland has had some very strong outings. She basically stole the show from PFT and Natasha Lyonne, two total alphas, in Tash.2 (CBB#317). I've said it before, I'll say it again, bring back Dreama Peaches the Bear Hunter! Also, yes Steph Allynne is amazing on I4H. Particularly the trilogy with Gabrus (I4H #165,166,168).

EPISODE 6 - Dracula's Bedroom
souprman replied to JulyDiaz's topic in SPONTANEANATION with Paul F. Tompkins
As soon as PFT said; "...I bet the giggling will stop tout suite." an image of Dave Foley with an evil grin popped into my head. -

Wow, Colleen Smith destroys. Get her to every other podcast immediately. -
omissions - You mentioned how Cage/ Travolta are never able to actually shoot each other. The exception being unless it is another cop who gets within 25 feet of them. Example at 2:02:53 after TravolCage tricks the daughter into shooting CageVolta, TravolCage goes out to the street where 2 plainclothes cops have pulled up. The plainclothes ask if he's okay and and he lets off about 4 or 5 rounds that all apparently find their target instantly killing them. Yet in the "Mirror" scene, they are literally inches from each other for several moments and cannot hit each other once, even though somewhere in the neighborhood of 100 rounds are spent. alternate pairings/directors - Joaquin Phoenix / Vincent Gallo - dir. Quentin Tarantino Joaquin Phoenix / Adam Sandler - dir. Paul Thomas Anderson This was fucking amazing, thanks guys!! EDIT - Dibs on CageVolta as a band name.

that's what I was going to say too. I guess the chopper pilot thinks; "Well, he belongs to the sea now." or "Obviously I can't fly this helicopter into the ocean, so clearly the chase is over."

Oh my god, is everyone okay!!!???

I'm not really emotional though.. so? Off the handle? I'm just speaking my mind. I think I did upset some people however, clearly. Sorry folks! I think all this shit is funny for the record. Not in a condescending way either, I say what I mean here. I have genuinely laughed hard at every post that slammed me. It's playtime folks. Batter Up!!

Your doing a great job too on all accounts. Only child? What? I love that you are simultaneously trying to minimize my output and say all offerings are legit. Cognitive dissonance, it's dynamic. I don't understand the nature of most of your questions because they don't seem to refer to anything I've actually said. Example; "So is this forum just for people to repeat the lines of the episode they loved?" Clearly this thread confirms the contrary. Thank you for establishing my status as the unofficial moderator of the boards (UMOTB). Let's say we disagree and be done? I actually think we disagree less than is apparent by these posts. So as mutual fans, let's pause and grant each other the respect for at least having that in common.

I like it when you let the conversation ebb and flow and don't fill every space with music or a transition piece. Not that I hate that or anything. I'm just saying I love raw Horatio and all he inspires. Rawer and longer? Yep, that's what I'm saying. But for the record "Creep" was fucking brilliant.

I'm sorry, I said misinterpret, I should have said misinterpret and misrepresent. Also you asked a question I failed to answer. So you can share your opinions but they shouldn't share theirs because its that they're tired of something/someone? I'm encouraging people to exercise a little impulse control. The first thought is so seldom the most insightful or relevant. I like how you framed this question to imply that I am positioning my input to be of a higher order, that's very shrewd, it's also rude. How dare you dude? and you can qualify PFT's laughter as 100% authentic because why? My earholes are connected to my soul-hole. I hadn't thought about it but it is maybe getting to a level of Jimmy Fallon-ness on SNL... It seems like you still haven't thought about it. He once laughed at insanely funny turns and lines, but lately its like anything a guest says that is intended as a joke Getting sad now... The point I wanted to support is that you're being a complete ass Fair enough. and denying the ass that you're being Losing cohesion... by saying you support people sharing their opinions but yours is always right Here's where you completely lose it. Never said that. Never implied it. and more smarty words that I don't feel like wasting the time to write down Smarty words? Oh boy. Here's the original post again - try to actually get it this time. Why do people treat the forum like their fucking diary?; "Today I decided not to dip my french fries in ketchup. I'm not saying I hate ketchup, I just think me and ketchup need a break." Too much of a good thing? It's still a good thing people.
