Welcome to Comedy Bang Bang
-
A strong showing for the past several weeks, most of the casts of '17 have been really good. Can't wait to break off another hundo with my boy Trump Aukerman
-
I've only got a couple notes this week, so I'll try to keep it short.
#1: Saw Kong, pretty good, some major laughs, some of the things that were clearly set up to be major laughs fell very flat. Did not utilize big comedy players Eugene Cordero or Marc Evan Jackson in a comedic way, which was an odd choice.
#2: Still have yet to see evidence of a Ronna&Beverly/HeyHandbook crossover, still patiently awaiting that news.
#3: While re-listening to some of my favorite HH episodes, 166: Normal People, Our Close Friends LIVE, as well as 141: Karen Kilgariff, Our Close Friend, on my preferred medium of backlogue podcasts, HOWL FM, I was disturbed to find that they had cut off the awoo baby, and in 141 they had cut out the end credits all together! Aukerman, what the fuck?

I mean, where do you even start with this. What a f@#$n corker. Always the best when there's more people, more ideas to bounce around off. And all this coming after Hayes' blowout performance on WhoChartedLive yesterday? Definitely a solid week for HeyHandbook

Why so few replies this week? Why didn't anybody bring up Sean's great appearance on dumb bells?

Shauna seems cool, very soft-spoken, kind of introverted but willing to play around, throw sass at times. I have a suggestion and I hope it reaches Kre and Ku, why don't you guys do the two charted with the guest there? I think the guests Input on you guys' stories from the week and listeners questions and whatnot would be pretty cool, not that I don't like it just the way it is

[begin transmission]
I'm..sort of floating..
Â
I see all of time, from it's humble and violent beginnings to its tumultuous and eventually unimportant end..
Â
I see humans suffering, plague spreading through the lands.
Â
Now I see ran ran and honlads, trapped under the antarctic ice, frozen in time doing a sweet back flip off of a wooly mammoth
Â
And over there! Anastasia Vigo teaching Mohandas Gandhi about motorcycle engines, but 1000 years later, there's Engineer Frank playing a tense game of dice with some the robot mafia
Â
And I'm getting other flashes.. Tom Scharpling throwing Nick Wiger into the spoonman.. Hanford and Dave are selling earwolf corporate secrets to Jake and amir.. Hayes is holding a wounded Sean, screaming into the sky " It should have been me!"..Sean motions for him to lean in closer..
Â
"What up what up"

Gang I know it's only page 1 but I'm starting the shenanigans early. Because I just received a transmission from the future. Turns out that my theory about the time wound was right, but extenuating circumstances made it so that there were multiple rips at multiple locations. That's why, for example, we got Joe McGurl back recently, but from this letter it seems that Mekhi Phifer is stuck in a Madagascar jail under an assumed name for a crime he didn't commit in 2040. But it turns out I was wrong about the culprit! The true foe behind the..oh no..it's a time bullet! Guh..

Cheeb are you familiar with the storyline of skyrim? A big crux of the story is that the dragon Alduin was forced forward in time through a a "time wound". I have a theory that a similar thing happened to many of the forum big wigs some time ago, people like cfsl, Tim treese, etc. Due to some sort of conspiracy by d.a.n.a, trump aukerman, the doughboys, maybe even Jon gabrus, in order to try to squash the boys from taking over the whole podcast game

A surprisingly huge get for the boys? Maybe my dream of Dov Davidoff or Dave Chappelle as a guest isn't so crazy

I like Colin, he's a good sport. Also, nice Sean, loving the zooTed stuff

I think I may have discovered a new Mandela effect, and it affects us here at Earwolf.
I listened to U talking U2 2 Me? Relatively soon after it was out. I always remember the drop being "From boys to boots, putting them on that is" but I just listened to 2 eps, starting a third, and he keeps saying From boy to boot, no s's. Where are we at here gang? Who member's what?

Boy oh boy when I find out who has been saying that Hayes and Sean don't like good advertisers and listeners, well, I hate to take a cue from Chris Weiser, but it's gonna be clobberin' time

Pretty good, makes me like the drop even more.
