  1. I also support the regulars getting looser and the weird factor getting turned up. This ep was a joy. Also a shout out to Jean Villepique! I love her subtlety, and she gives a ton to every ensemble I've heard her with on this show. Everyone else was great as well. I just don't think Jean gets enough props.
  2. Second listen. Can't get enough of this combo. Inspired me to go back and listen to one of my favorite i4h episodes: Quadruple Mix-In And also this CBB: Finger Chimes, featuring DJ Forsythia (that's right)

EPISODE 140 — Andrew the Magic Carpet

^ Can we get some Bruce Willis in there somewhere?

    EPISODE 114 — Quip Fire!

This was great! Ellie Kemper really is the nicest, and apparently brings fun with her everywhere she goes. I'll bet if you invited her over for a pool party, she wouldn't even damage the rose bushes. Spaghetti-O's, I'm lookin at you.
  5. PAUL RUST! Is it weird that I was worried about him?

EPISODE 113 — Oprah Gayle Underwear

It was (allegedly) Adam Shulman, better known as Anne Hathaway's husband. She also implied that Banksy has been unmasked, which I apparently missed?

    EPISODE 245.5 — 8/14/15 TWO CHARTED 184

It's like the engineers never touched it. Pristine. Also, I thought I was having a summah, but if this is where the bar is set I clearly have some catching up to do. Better get started before the summah is done! Also I got a really big kick out of this and thank you.

    EPISODE 20 - Death Valley

I've been on the fence about this new "peyote henoymoon" trend, but after listening to this episode, my fears are allayed. If the peak gets too weird, we can always ground things by watching "Dune", or even just closing our eyes and getting lost in that sweet, sweet soundtrack by Toto. What could possibly go wrong? Thanks, Spontaneanation! With your help, there's no way this next marriage will be as big of a disaster as the previous one!

    EPISODE 19 - Malibu

It's a lot of fun to listen to people having a lot of fun. It makes my heart feel good. With that in mind, I think there is enough video game in this thread to justify posting this link to Nerd Poker #49 , the first 10 minutes of which is a group reminiscence about the 'Hollywood Halo Social Club', which includes a... call-forward? to Spontaneanation #11. There, I made it relevant. Anyway, it's a fun listen. Carne Asada in the backyard.

    5th Edition DnD

We've been playing 5e for about 6 months now, and everyone seems happy with it. This looks like WoTC's big push to make D&D accessable and relevant again, and aside from my irritation with WoTC for systematically pulling all old content from the web (free PDFs, where has you gone?), I'd say they're doing a bang-up job.

    EPISODE 366 — Cafeteriapalooza

Bobscratch Goldfarb, an absolute delight. Not only delivering a sincere and feel-filled interview, he had great questions to coax out more material from the other guests, especially while Scott was being (seemingly) willfully obtuse. Bobcat Goldthwait, official co-host of Comedy Bang Bang? If it were so, I would come run-ning to listen every week.
  16. I was looking for Prada Dada Donatello, but the clueing was pretty shaky and the whole thing was a bit of a stretch anyway, so full points to you for effort and creativity.
  17. That's a spicy meat-a-ballah!
  18. Plop plop, fizz fizz, BEEF! What a relief.

    Ask Paul!

That's great news, thanks! I do have a bit of a follow-up, if you don't mind. OK, it's more like a bunch of follow-ups all mushed together. When you book guests and improvisors, do you try to build groups that you think will work well together? With such an aggressive recording schedule, does booking guests and improvisors become more challenging? If so, have there been any 'happy accidents', like unexpectedly good chemistry, that have come about as a result? Thanks again.
  20. A Mimi meme-meter? What do you call a Florentine sculptor who dons a modern Milanese handbag for his big night out at the Cabaret Voltaire?
  21. Ok, I'll bite. What do you call a low-toned brass instrument that's been broken by a silver screen shrimp tycoon?
  22. "Say it fast." "I ma-ma-ma-magician." "Yes, you are."

    Ask Paul!

Hi Paul, You mentioned at some point (I think) that you're recording more than one episode at a time - does this mean you're way ahead on recorded episodes, or are you recording more episodes but with less frequency? What I'm really getting at is, when do we get to hear the cast from this week's CBB pictures? *rubs little hands together* Thanks
