How does the camp work? Is it 2-3 months and the campers stay the whole time? It didn't seem like the camps of my youth where different groups came in every week. The production seemed to take place within a month. At the first rehearsal the director told them to be off-book by Thursday. If the rehearsal was on Sunday that gives them at most 4 days. Then the "23 days to production" countdown clock started. Someone further up mentioned how few people seemed to attend. I noted that at the beginning when there were only 3 school buses. Granted the buses could make multiple trips but I doubt it.

I thought I heard the start of "Keep it Gay" from The Producers (or Les Producerables) when they started singing that part.

I meant to add that the Kabuki wasn't necessary to get the Opera Ghost into a white mask. In fact, wasn't it against Kabuki to have the OG wear a mask instead of having his face painted? Camilla had hers painted.

I agree. They didn't even take two minutes to explain how they were going to adapt the play to Japan. And then they went ahead and called it Teatro Firenze anyway!

I'll stay out of this one today. Didn't watch it over the weekend like I'd meant to. It's on the agenda for tonight.

I found this list of 20 things from behind the scenes. One that stood out was Idina Menzel was supposed to sing the end credits song but that was cut before she ever recorded it. Another was that the story originally wasn't so saccharine.

I forgot to watch it again but will try tonight. I remember a few Easter Eggs but had a thought there were more when I was watching. I should have taken notes. Ones I remember: The Belle Notte cafe (from the song in Lady and the Tramp) Paige O'Hara (the voice of Belle in the animated Beauty and the Beast) is in the cast. She played Angela (but I don't remember who that is). ETA: This site says Paige is in the soap opera Dempsey watches. Also Judy Kuhn (the voice of Pocahontas) plays the mom with many kids. So is Jodi Benson, Ariel from The Little Mermaid. She played Sam (again I don't remember the character). IMDB has a picture of Jodi's scene

Jumping to the end, what prompted Nancy's sudden turn? She was glaring all through the "other partners" dance and all of a sudden she's ok with him kissing Amy?

Agreed about Dempsey. I was wondering his age at this point. I remember him from 80's movies and now he's in one in 2007? ETA: It's not as bad as I thought. He was 41 when this came out and she was 33.

Dumb question. What were the movies for Chicago and New York? I know Yes, Giorgio was one of the BAM shows but what was the other? On Facebook it says Never To Young to Die was a Largo show so have we heard the episode of the 2nd BAM show?

I watched Enchanted for the first time last night. That was a lot of fun! I had to pause several times to go do laundry but never shut it off early.

Treme (Seasons 1-4) is available now with Amazon Prime in the U.S. Not sure how many seasons the show ran.
