Thanks Fister and Elektra! I know you have your preferences but I would like to see your parts read by the actors in your avatar pics. (Same for Cameron H.) -

I missed something. When (and where) was an NYC show announced? -

Gute: Look honey, I brought home a BB-8 toy! Keira: OMG, What is its mission? -
You win. That one kills me every time I see it.

BB-8 has the same number of syllables as Kumite. Coincidence?

Time for a useless post. I haven't seen Channing Tatum's Magic Mike movies so maybe they explain this in those movies. Listening to the minisode again and in the trailer Paul plays are the words "Magic Mike"!!! Is this movie where Channing Tatum got his inspiration?

I thought it was the Holiday Special's grandpa watching the space porno.

I figure there had to be some history between Han and Boba Fett that enabled Boba to be the only bounty hunter to figure out Han would hide in the garbage in Empire. I would like to see that history but that's it.

I think it's referring to the Who Charted? podcast.

I've never been happier at being told to go f myself as when Jason did it to the people listening at home.

Love it! Great job.

There are lots of girls in the background being completely ignored in favor of the guys' bromance.

One thing I learned from Blake Harris' article. Michael Damian (singer, actor) is the brother of Larry Weir, the music composer!

Maybe Paul is thinking of Summer Catch? http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0234829/
-
I think that counts. You can channel Sally Field: "You like me! You really like me!"

Still listening to the episode but I love how Paul is reading all our Luis Guzman references as if it's pronounced Louis (or Lewis).

My four cents: 1) I didn't think "murder house" when I saw the house but I was totally seeing Dirty Dancing when they were inside. I know Dirty Dancing happened in his room but the general feel was the same. 2) I couldn't help but think "Well, his glasses are crushed" when she makes Dave disappear and she slides into the driver's seat. 3) It was also strange that everything but his glasses disappeared. We wouldn't understand he disappeared if the glasses vanished also? 4) Her revenge on the teacher wasn't really revenge because he never knew or found out that she was behind it all. How could she get him to treat her better in class if she didn't take credit for the in-class strip?

Second Opinions or Second OBIMions?

Since Chicago first came out in 1975 and was a flop I'd say America mirrored your journey with the show. As for the show itself, I think the movie isn't the best representation. There is a major plot point in the stage show that was taken out of the movie. I think that greatly minimizes the movie's impact. Instead of making a larger point about how Roxie and Velma's stories are universal it came back to focusing on the actresses.

Episode 128 - Streets of Fire: LIVE!
Cinco DeNio replied to JulyDiaz's topic in How Did This Get Made?
I was going to post this if you hadn't. I had to look him up because Mykelti is such an unusual name. In Streets of Fire he's credited as Mykel T. Williamson. Apparently that was the first iteration of his stage name because his real name is Michael T. Williamson! Way to go on finding a stage name that really stands out! -

Christmas morning is the big part. You need something to do for the rest of the day.
