I kinda passed on The Quest on my recent JCVD marathon because it seemed skippable, but I guess I'll be watching it after all then.

I can't believe this wasn't done in favor of Superman III. This is so much more bonkers. Fucking love it. I mean Menahem Golan produced this glorious piece of shit. Need I say more?

Maybe Timecop seems a bit too understated in comparison to Bloodsport for me. But sure, I'd gladly take a Timecop episode!

Timecop is pretty good. Like, legitimately so. Probably too good for HDTGM? I re-watched a bunch of Van Damme movies in December-January and I was surprised at how decent it is.

Paul & co, if you're by any chance reading this; for your next Van Damme flick (that I know you wanna do) make it DOUBLE IMPACT. JCVD plays himself and his twin brother in it and if that's not a thing you wanna see... Well, just know that you won't regret it.

My god, this episode. Having Nicole Byer on it is like having a female Mantzoukas and you would think that'd be overkill BUT IT AIN'T. KUMITE KUMITE KUMITE

My personal top 3 golden age JCVD movies (I recently rewatched a bunch of em): 1. Bloodsport 2. Double Impact (JCVD is having so much fun in this and totally pulling off playing twin roles) 3. Kickboxer Timecop is also quite good, but not even in a bad way.

Long overdue, easily the best Van Damme movie and I'll fight anyone who says otherwise.

I can't believe they haven't done this yet. Holy shit how the fuck did this shit get made? Brolin, Fassbender, and Malkovich (who looks like the goddamn Shaggy Dog) in an 80 minutes long DC Comics-based theatrical feature. Also is it just me or does Megan Fox always look like she's got an anti-noise filter on her? Stupid, bizarre, uninvolved dialogue. Answering a question with another question? Fine. Scripts are for nerds anyway.

It's one of those that fits into the same category as Con Air; ridiculously awesome, awesomely ridiculous.

It's not actually about how movies were made, just trying to find entertaining stuff, right? Anyway, it's always a gamble. I've seen some good-bad stuff when I was expecting bad-bad, and vice versa. Pre-internet stuff just has a higher hit rate because, well, like you said people were dumdums.

The dub for this elevates this insane movie to even insaner levels of awesome.

So, Teen Witch. I hope someone addresses the fact that Robyn Lively's character in Twin Peaks has eerily similar powers (over men). I bet David Lynch saw this movie and figured I gotta get me some of that Teen Witch in mah tv show.
