  1. "but the sign said 'all you can eat'.."
  2. I agree. I didn't hate it, but it did suffer from trying to do too much. I think it had potential to be "better" or more enjoyable. I feel like they should've stuck more with the Run DMC plotline, because the Fat Boyz storyline was not really needed. The Fat Boyz were not on the "Krush Groove" label like Run DMC was, correct? (Did I miss something?) And I was generally more interested with the Rusell Simmons and Run DMC story than anything else going on. Too many stories and artist/groups storylines, and artist/group cameos... just too much going on.
  3. obviously I didn't / don't know jack about Sheila E. Reading up more about her-- she had a history with Prince. So..that makes sense... (and my instincts are on point)
  4. Oh yeah, that Sax def made it feel super 80s to me. Plus that whole song felt very Prince-ish to me.
  5. just watched this again (idk why), but at the end is it implying that they ate the wallpaper/picture of food that was next to their table too? I missed that the first time watching, but probably because I was too busy being disgusted.
  6. And the song I have in my head from the movie is: cause I do like Run DMC. I did wish there was more of them and less of the Fat Boys in the movie..
  7. He doesn't age. Anytime I see Blair Underwood in something, I think about him as Miranda's neighbor/ doctor boyfriend in Sex and the City. I liked him with Miranda, but obviously Steve is #1.
  8. I hated this scene so much

    HDTGM Classics vol 1 Burlesque

I'm glad Arizona does not mess with Daylight savings. also unsure if I can watch with y'all tonight But I've seen Burlesque and can probably chime in or at least discuss afterwards.
  10. 2D. I think 3D works a little better with animated movies (usually). but even then I don't think it's worth it.
  11. I agree with this. It was pretty good, Holland was a good Spiderman/Peter Parker. Did Keaton's fur coat (jacket) remind anyone else of Vin's Xander coat ? It's all I could think about when I saw it haha
  12. I watched Chopping Mall prematurely..

HDTGM Classics - Live "Posting" Group

I'm down Only recently I've tried to keep up with watching all the movies they go over. When I first started the podcast I listened to eps of movies I had seen, then started listening to everything from the beginning. Since the eps are still enjoyable without seeing the movies. I thought it'd be too much to try to watch everything. So there's plenty I have not watched, so any movie we'd cover is cool with me! I have seen Burlesque, watched a few months ago. I'm down to rewatch probably or at least discuss with you guys. and being in AZ, I probably should not have issues with the time.
  14. whenever I take a "which house are you quiz" I'm always Hufflepuff. Which I think is prob most accurate..but then taking the one on Pottermore recently said I was a Gryffindor. I'm a Huffledor / Gryffinpuff ?
  15. Idk I am still the same way. Most things my parents watched and listened to when I was a kid I loved...and still do love. I was always into everything my parents liked music wise and why my music taste is so all over the place. Same with TV shows and movies. Like The Simpsons. and even though I was born in the 90s I've watched/love a lot of movies in the 70s and 80s that my parents watched as kids/teens, cause they had us watch them. And I have always been super into crime shows/ documentaries and it was because I'd watch shows like Law and Order, Homicide, Forensic Files, Cold Case files, etc.. with my mom almost every night before I'd go to bed. I'm not sure what exactly it was with Journey though, only was Journey specifically that annoyed us. Maybe because she over did it? Kind of like how some pop songs get overplayed and start to get annoying. Too much of Steve Perry's voice? lol, I'm not sure
  16. I used to hate Journey ( I know )...but it was because there was a long period where that's ALL my mom would listen to (in the house, driving, etc) when my siblings and I were kids. So much so that we would get annoyed. And I did like all the music my parents listened to (still do). It was just Journey..she killed them for me back then..So when I was a kid- early teen and she'd put them on I'd groan. Love / appreciate them now though.
  17. Oasis... and I dislike Mark Wahlberg so I'd take being stuck with any other Wahlberg in an elevator.
  18. I liked both, but probably listened to and owned more Britney albums. Christina is a better singer (duh) and do love her voice.. But I gotta go Britney
  19. favorite Backstreet boy was : Edit: have to add this gif too, lol
  20. don't worry, I understand it.. lol
  21. Me too... I did* like both Nsync and BSB. But I got into Nsync first, so they were always first for me. And Lance was my favorite of Nsync haha *still do jam out to both in my car sometimes..
  22. Me either. Buzzfeed article points out she was a bored girl in the dress shop. her IMDB also says she was a "school bus girl" in Forrest Gump
  23. I know Rita Wilson had a role in this, but anyone notice Colin Hanks had a little cameo?
