  1. Kevin Grevioux creator of I, Frankenstein also created Underworld. However instead of releasing the I, Frankenstein graphic novel the film is based on before it's release, what was put out was a digital only, single issue prequel to I, Frankenstein called "Genius".

Years after the movie was released, in an interview Kevin said "Uh, no. See, the way it worked is that Lakeshore didn't buy the graphic novel; there was no graphic novel to buy. I actually sold them the screenplay that I wrote. That's how this whole thing started. The graphic novel pages I had were merely for illustrative purposes."

The craziest thing from Kevin, in a pre-release interview that, in an early draft of his screenplay, Kate Beckinsale would have made a post-credits cameo appearance as Selene and that there would have been Underworld Easter eggs, but none of this was used.

I feel so upset right now because as a child this was one of my favorite movies and watching the trailer now I'm realizing just how garbage it really is.

I feel the exact same way. I'm no longer upset that my parents gave away my DVD of this

  3. I really wanted to like this movie. I loved the original but I knew a Hollywood remake of an international film would be hard to love. But it has the main character from the original, and Paul Walker doing parkour. Breaks your heart when you see him. And RZA if you're a Wu-Tang fan.

This movie is a mess.  If you want to see Paul kick ass one more time, give it a shot but you've been warned. One good thing about it is it's 90 minutes. 90 long minutes

  4. It's like Airbud, but instead of basketball its baseball. And instead of a dog, it's a chimpanzee, not a real one but two alternating actors in a chimpanzee suit.

Jay Caputo and Denise Cheshire play Ed. Denise also played a gorilla in Mighty Joe Young. While Jay has played multiple apes in Tim Burton's 2001 Planet of the Apes, as well as playing Alpha in Rise of The Planet of the Apes.

0% on Rotten Tomatoes. 2.7 on imdb. From the director of The West Wing Documentary Special

Budget: $24,000,000 (estimated)       Cumulative Worldwide Gross: $4,422,380

  5. I remember being so excited for this movie. "JOEYS IN IT!" I was 9 and thought it was weird then. I couldn't take Matt LeBlanc seriously.

21 years later, I still wouldn't be able to take Matt LeBlanc seriously in a non-comedic role. Remember him in Charlie's Angels? :S

$80 Million Budget in 1998, it shows

  6. Stumbled upon this on IMDB. The director of this, Ernest R. Dickerson, wrote and directed Juice (1992) with Tupac (RIP). Which was his first and only good movie.

His only other notable work is that he directed Bones (2001) with Snoop Dogg and Never Die Alone (2004) with DMX.
