This is the most redneck movie I've ever seen. This was a 86 minute Jeff Foxworthy joke.

This was my Mom's favorite movie. I have unwillingly watched this over 10 times

I bought this on DVD when it came out. Yeah I paid full price and probably haven't watched it in 10 years. If I remember correctly, Orlando Jones is screaming the whole movie.
-
I genuinely enjoyed this movie so much when it came out. Now that I've had some time to mature....I still enjoy it, but for its ridiculousness
-
This would be a wild episode

If you check the IMDb writing credits;
"Based on an original idea by Luc Besson"
"Based on Escape from New York written by John Carpenter and Nick Castle (Uncredited)"

I remember seeing the trailer and thinking this was going to be the best, most extreme thing ever. that it would even create a new sport for the x-games or something. boy was i wrong
-
i remember the look on the face of the guy working at Blockbuster when i rented this. the least he could have done was warn me I was making a bad decision instead of just starring. Only rented it because I love Lisa Kudrow and just to watch My Wife and Kids. I knew i should have got Soul Plane again.

Brenden Fraser is a cartoonist in a coma, trapped in his own cartoon. Monkeybone (voiced by John Turturro) is trying to stop him by getting to Brenden's body first. Brenden must then take over Chris Katan's body but Woopi Goldberg doesnt like that.
I was 11 when this movie came out. My parents thought it was a kids movie and took my sister and I to see it. it traumatized us.
