Had to check out Tom's website out of curiosity. Amazingly, the "condom jungle" and scented candles sponsors that he mentioned are completely accurate

I have to agree that this is possibly the best episode so far. I only had one problem with it and it's that some jerk gave away the surprise ending to me in the form of a limerick. It went something like: "This episode was the best, put my funny bone to the test, Satanic megatrons and masks, what more do you have to ask, Turns out Jason and Scott were the other two heads."

Wow! That Grateful Dead clip was a doozy!

Oh, and Episode 7 after one of Matt's dad's letters. The scene where Ian Roberts' son knocks Brian Huskey's son into a loopy coma during a wrestling match. Starts at 56:03 -

Episode 5 (Sean Conroy, Jill Donnelly, and Colton Dunn) the "juiced up" scene where Jill Donnelly gets impregnated by a guy who isn't Nostradamus. Starts at 32:07 -
That was a much too under-appreciated show, and was a great example of your explanation of how "yes, and" doesn't necessarily mean total agreement since the whole idea of the show was based on conflicting viewpoints. Even the host, who was in on the joke, always had an opposing opinion. Anyway, looking forward to the next episode!

I'm surprised Matt didn't bring up "Crossballs". That show was kind of similar to Chris' examples of his own "improv" stuff except it was entertaining
-
If you really consider it, that would be a great half to a "would you rather" scenario.

Adam Pally's "it's not great" was one of the most authentic moments I've heard on this show. Scott and Andy seemed genuinely surprised at his comments, and it immediately moved Pally into my list of favorite guests. It was a weird episode, but all of the best episodes are.

I just gotta say ATTABOY!

I noticed that Andy Daly is, without explanation, holding a harmonica in one of the scenes in the show. I think I remember a harmonica kind of used on "9 Sweaters". Makes me already excited for the (hopefully) deleted/extended scenes on the (another hopefully) Comedy Bang! Bang! dvd!

I really hope they do it, it was one of my favorite movies when I was a young teen. And because it's kind of related and always makes me giggle:

You beat me to it! I remember this from when I was a kid, it was my favorite video to check out at the library. For some reason it also convinced me that Satan lived on the moon. It was pretty awesome hearing that creepy familiar voice again after all these years.

Yeah, I realize it may be a sensitive issue, and I was excited about the Mario 3 stuff back then too. I'd even gone to the theaters to see this the week it came out, and I was too young to recognize what product placement even was so obviously I loved it with no suspicion of any ulterior motives. All nostalgia aside though, this movie is not good and has lots of nonsense in it. Although I'd still watch the whole thing all over again. I was thinking the same thing while listening at work with ear phones in. I said that unforgettable line out loud as the interview ended, and was glad nobody was close enough to hear me and mistake me for a rude person

I was just thinking the other day: "It's amazing how often people will think about a very specific scenario, and then within a few days a situation arises that directly pertains to that same scenario." But really, the adds shouldn't be that bothersome. I'm actually glad to hear that Earwolf has some support (even if the adds are creatively lame). Plus, without these companies sponsoring the show I probably would never had heard of Google or Entertainment Weekly.

Who do YOU want to be a guest on WHO CHARTED??
Henry replied to Kulap's topic in Guest Recommendations
Maybe Bobby Moynihan? He's been having a good streak on Earwolf so far -
"Instead of reading a catchphrase suggestion today, I would like to talk about something that's kind of been bugging me. Occasionally I'll get submissions for catchphrases that aren't really practical for their purpose. I mean, a catchphrase should be a short, concise phrase that's easy to remember and repeat at the start of every show. I just want to let everyone know that I will not be reading any long rambling catchphrase suggestions that I get because they take up too much time at the beginning of the show, and frankly I do not find them funny."
