The ghost sighting story and tarot card reading further solidified my suspicion of the identity of Tig's mammal

Seeing Josh Homme on the recent IFC show reminded me what a funny guy he can be. I've also noticed that he's been making the podcast rounds recently (Nerdist, WTF, Mohr Stories), and even though Rocktober is over I think he'd be a swell guest on the podcast. Example included:

I accidentally posted half way through my comment, and I can't figure out how to delete posts, so to make up for it here's a wonderful picture of Jesse Ventura:Â
"Yep, I want him!"

I've been deeply intrigued by Bruce Howard since I first saw his cable access show in around 2001ish. Great to hear him on the show! A little update on him. Somebody recently contacted me through YouTube because of a couple videos of him that I uploaded. He claimed to be gathering as much video as he could in effort to make a documentary on The Reverend. I don't really know how serious this person was, and haven't really followed up on it, but It seems like there's an interesting story there and I'm keeping my fingers crossed that he was for real.
Checked my youtube account for the first time in a while when I got home, and somebody else also seems to be working on a documentary featuring Bruce Howard. Looks like it's more about early Seattle public access in general. https://www.facebook.com/ChannelingYourself

Further instances of "Ching Chong":http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uNHuXSKFB6c Evidence suggests it's not racist, it's rabbit.

This commercial actually happened. I was in junior high when I used to hear it on the radio, so obviously it was one of the most hilarious things to me at the time

Yes, you will win $10,000 but it's really not that kind of show.
Classic beav talk moment!

"Hey, come on! This is not that kind of show"

I feel like he's commented on the guest's "referenceometer" a few or more times

Classic grunge band Screaming Trees vocalist Mark Lanegan singing a children's song about a bear's most preferable footwear.

Don't think we've heard Old Skull on the show yet.

The original musically grating youtube pop music video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hpsbj0OoeNo Can't help but think the same people who produced this were behind Rebecca Black, these kids were just fortunate enough to avoid the same degree of exposure she got

The dialogue in the "space rabies" clip sounds like it could have come straight out of "Axe Cop"

I can remember having this on a VHS (recorded from t.v.) as a kid, and it was one of the "best things ever" to me. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=25nnVX3k1o8

Looks like The Box Tops had a bit of a jokester in the band. (about 45 seconds in he starts his antics)

Reminds me a little of Nirvana's goofy "Smells Like Teen Spirit" lip-sync performance for the BBC, though quite a bit toned down. Also, how awesome was this Alex Chilton fellow? Pioneering the necktie and t-shirt combo, having a #1 hit tune at the age of sixteen, and then later fronting Big Star.
