Well, I was actually thinking of starting similar. See, on this other forum I was on (the rifftrax forum), we had a monthly thing in which we vote for top 50 of something with forum members making a list of their top 25 (for example, this month, it is game shows, last month it was Twilight Zone episodes). Basically everyone sends their list to the host with their #1 pick being worth 25 points, there #2 being worth 24 and so on. Anyone up for that? I've been planning to do something similar in the off topic board for a while and this might be a good way to gauge interest (and we could always do both). -
Just do it without the embed stuff and not from your phone and you should be good.

This... is... confusing. It's from a company that seems to be about celebrating and promoting different lifestyles (I assume since it's from a "lifestyles media company") with a message that dwarves can play as well as anyone. Except they are comically inept and treated like cartoon characters who need Dennis Rodman's help. This is bizonkers!

This was possibly the most confusing movie trailer I have ever seen. Also the music felt like it was from a fighting game that no one remembers, like World Heroes or Art of Fighting, but worse. -

I'd really like to see this one done, along with Double Dragon. The 90's had some weird movies that shied away from the source material in odd ways. How hard is it to do a martial arts tournament movie?

I think it would be great too, Saw it for the first time recently and it was a lot of fun. But at the same time, it has a lot of weaknesses that make it great for the show. I think it would be a great palette cleanser episode after watching another Nothing But Trouble or In the Name of The King. -

I remember loving this one as a kid, but kids have bad taste. Curious to revisit it. I think it could make for a great episode though.

Riki-Oh: The Story of Ricky

This has been suggested before, but could we merge the two threads, because I want to start momentum for this one again. It's grotesque, but in a way that is so very, very fun. Interesting fact: This is based on a manga titled Riki-Oh (which translates as Power King) during the popularity of the infamously gory Fist of the North Star series, which inspired many a gore-fest martial arts comic. The creator went on to create the much more popular and very long running series Tough, also about martial arts, which I actually kind of like. -
Are you suggesting the comic was steampunk (because it wasn't... except one issue) or that it was a steampunk adaptation?

Was there not a thread for this one yet? I remember liking it as a kid, but everyone else telling me it was awful. Curious to revisit it in a Paul had Nothing But Trouble on LaserDisc kind of way.

I disagree. I think it's really more prescient than ever. The film is really about the effect that violent imagery has on the mind and with a lot of films trying to amp up the gore with a real lack of content (later Saw movies, the various Hostel rip-offs) is like an assault on the mind. There is still a war for the human mind, and the videodrome isn't just limited to the TV anymore.
