It's Greek. Like Zouks. The soundtrack to Hercules in NYC is basically the soundtrack to Zorba The Greek and I am a-ok with that:

So I finally got around to watching this, only doing so because this thread is so popular. I don't think I would have ever thought to check it out if this thread didn't bounce to the top every so often. This feels like it was written by a 12 yr old boy in so many ways, ass monsters, fart jokes (I mean were they jokes? They seemed so out of place, but they were written like jokes), the banter between the friends as adults, the nature of their friendship, etc. I'm not so sure that Morgan Freeman's character is as insane as the filmmakers want you to think, I mean I am certainly glad that he has been keeping vigil against the turd aliens for 25 years. If all that it takes for the entire world to be infected with butt slugs is one single infected corpse into a major water supply and with their clearly advanced technology it been prevented the entire time Freeman has been at this post then he has to be doing something right. What was the red staining anyway? All I can figure is that it's just a misdirect so that we as the audience could know that it really had nothing to do with the butt slugs but have everyone else in the film think it's the source of the contamination.

We need more Lohan movies on HDTGM.

I'm not going to lie, I love Terry Crews in this movie. This film is garbage, but Crews sells his character 100% and is responsible for any laughs that might be guiltily had from this movie

I do believe good sir that your post accusing me of taking movies way to seriously takes my post way too seriously.

EPISODE 110 — The Island of Dr. Moreau

This also happened for Face-off and I think Lake Placid. By the time I got around to watching Face-Off and listening to the episode they were already recording the mini-episodes for this one and I felt left out (although I did get an omission in on the Lake Placid episode). -

I'm not a fan of this new "mini ep on Monday, full ep following Friday" cycle they've been on. I would prefer at least a week between them so that I can watch the film before the episode comes out. -
I think you might be right. I think his badge says Unisol or something like that. My mistake, I should be roundhoused to the face for making that gaffe.

This movie reduces every single ethnic group to a stereotype and ironically the stereotype for the white people is that they're all racist.

The one and only. It's probably hard to tell though since you can't see his futuristic mullet all the way from the distant year 2004.

This probably goes without saying, but check to see what number IFC is on your service. I just copied the info from IMDB.

Also, I would like to point out that the poster for this movie has Brando and Kilmer side by side making a very similar face: Flash forward a couple of decades to: So, my question is this: During the filming of this film did Marlon Brando inject some of his DNA into Val Kilmer?

I always enjoy when they pick a movie that is a train wreck that was made by a legendary filmmaker (or in this case someone who had a lot of success early in his career and struggled to find success late in his career). And holy crap, this is the 2nd from Frankenheimer! He also brought us Reindeer Games. Also, if you get IFC: Fri, May 15 9:45 AM IFC (234) If you haven't seen Frankehneimer's film Seconds, it's a very good Face-Off esque film about a man who wants to escape his life so he undergoes a procedure that transforms his look completely but with a very dark twist. It's starring Rock Hudson and there's a thinly veiled theme that can be viewed as being a closeted homosexual wanting to live as an open one.

So I have seen Vanilla Ice perform live twice. The first time was some time in 2000 or 2001 at a small club and he was going through that phase where he wanted nothing to do with his rap and was only going to perform his hardcore stuff...HOWEVER his band missed the plane and he only had his DJ with him so he had to rap. He only knew a couple of songs and had to have people come up on stage and freestyle. It was really weird and surreal, I have a photo with him somewhere in a bin that I have been trying to dig up. The second time I was visiting my brother in Daytona at spring break and saw he was performing so we all decided to go. When he went on, I managed to get a crowd chant of "Ninja rap" started so much that he had to recognize it and did about 15 seconds of "go ninja go ninja go!" It was a pretty proud moment of my life.

Let's also not forget that there are anus beetles in this movie.

It's funny how groundbreaking the idea of combining rap and rock was, before Limp Bizkit ruined it for everybody.

I keep forgetting about this movie. It looks like it was written by an 8 yr old boy with all the low brow nut shots and toilet humor. I remembered that Ken Jeong was in it, but I forgot that Jim Norton and Patrice O'Neal are in it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p9vRrYrgjAk
