Ed's character has serious potential... I'd love to see a vitriolic, O'Reilly type that just instantly caves as soon as anyone presents a counter-argument. Good episode! (Julia, you got some pipes, girl!)

Ailments you have fallen victim to during the absence of Bob:

This one killed me. Well done, sir. -
He probably doesn't want to be a Vitamin Sandusky...

I did hear rumblings about that, but thought that they were going to plug ahead without TS... That's disappointing... Also, does anyone know what's up with P&R? I thought maybe they didn't want to counterprogram March Madness, but now that's over and there's still no new Parks episode... Is it a short season, maybe? (The latest 'Community' is beyond amazing, though - maybe the best one ever imo).

'Trippin' Balls' off marijuana brownies? Am I eating the wrong ones? (The wrong 'brownies', I mean, not 'balls').

Oh, no. I meant 'AMC's great shows (i.e. BB and MM), comma, and FX's comedies'... I just re-read my post and it was confusing, though... Even though it's not comedy, I didn't want to exclude Breaking Bad, which is probably my favorite non-comedy since Twin Peaks (if you don't consider TP a comedy, that is...)

Have any Earwolfers watched the Pilot for 'BFF' yet? My advice is: stick with it past the first few minutes, because it gets way funny after the initial lame pubic hair joke. This looks like another quality 'alt' NBC sitcom (along with Community and P&R). I was pleasantly surprised, because putting improv geniuses into scripted sitcoms doesn't always pan out (it looks like they let them improvise in this one, ala 'The League'). When was the last time there were multiple funny shows on a major network? Add in AMC's great shows, 'Louie', 'The League', and IFC's COMEDY BANG BANG, MU'FUCKA!!!!, and we're living in a pretty good era, TV-wise... (where the hell is 'Evil Genius', though? That seemed like a can't miss show, but I haven't heard jack about it recently, which probably means it's dead...)

Heh, I interviewed E-40 for a local rap thing in Vallejo, and he was totally dismissive - could not have cared less... The guys from 'N 2 Deep' were awesome, though - I guess because nobody remembers them...

I'm wondering if they were hard or soft tacos... Florida law is, oddly, very hard on soft taco crime, but notoriously soft on hard taco crime. It's weird, but probably not Florida's first order of business as far as changing stupid laws...

So, in the future, are all vegetables dehydrated?

Lennon and Jessica are also on the latest episodes of Doug Loves Movies and Fitzdog Radio, so maybe that's adding to the perception of 'BFF overload'... I think we're burying the lede here, though: Finally, HDTGM takes on an Eddie Murphy joint! Did anyone see the new one where he can't talk? I didn't, because I was in the next theater watching the new Megan Fox movie where she's in a Michelin Man suit the whole time...

I was SO into Topanga, and I'm not sure I was young enough for that to be OK... In fact, I think this post alone may have triggered an Amber Alert (though I did have college classes with Ben Savage, so we have to be pretty close in age...)

This. Although, it is weird how much 'BFF' is coming up on Earwolf podcasts this week... Is there some kind of back-alley Sally deal going here (as Scottabot would say)?

Love ya, Tig! Take all the time you need.

Hey, should I be offended at the $40,000 a year jab? These aren't 'Wonder Years' for all of us, Fred. I don't have a 'Winnie Cooper', I have a Mini Cooper. Considering he's the star of 'Working', this guy seems pretty out of touch... Not every kid had an autistic 'Double Dragon' expert to exploit, FRED! If the Jack in the Box break room had a water cooler, I would SO tell everyone what an elitist jerk you've become!

Jon Daly and Adam Scott should do a podcast together just to confuse golf fans.

Something tells me the Bros will have something to say about the latest Ryan Leaf arrest (I originally typed 'bust', but it seemed redundant...) That's at least his second drug arrest... He must be like the Ryan Leaf of drug dealing, or something. Nice job hosting The Jungle this week, Sklars! That's Huge, Rack Him, and so forth...
-
Looks like the Sklarbros are hosting Rome tomorrow (Wednesday)... Why hasn't Jim Rome been on the podcast yet (might be tough now that he has the CBS thing going...)?

You have to! In this economy?

Yeah you know me! Oh, sorry. Thought I heard someone ask if I was down with PFT.

I got five on it... I wonder if Anthony Michael Hall and uh... that other guy, are available (what am I saying? Of course they're available...)

God, Steel Panther is so unfunny... this might be the only laugh-free episode in the CDR/CBB archives...

How long did it take the janitorial staff to scrape the layer of cute off the studio walls? I would put up a tarp if Ellie Kemper ever came to my podcast.

I don't even bother to look for pickup curling games anymore. Too many brush-hogs that refuse to dish the stone...
