Middleditch.
-
I cannot handle this episode. Middleditch is such a whirlwind. Every time I see his name on something I know I'm going to have fun. I'd love to see him on i4h. Throw him in with Zack Woods and Benny Schwaz and it'd be epic, just like this ep of CBB!

EPISODE 19 — Scott Aukerman: A Lil' Dab'll Do Ya'
KajusX replied to JulyDiaz's topic in With Special Guest Lauren Lapkus
"Please buy one of these. It's like a treasure hunt! I'm sorry!" That's a solid pitch right there. -

Scott was either incredibly lucky in throwing out Dabney's birth year, or this is just another piece of evidence to throw on the growing pile that Scott is very skilled at quick mental math and knowledge of leap years. (That, or he prepared this weird little detail beforehand, but seeing as the nature of the improv is so fluid and random, I am inclined to believe the dude knows his numbers! Lol) -
A little late on this, and people have given you some good replies. I would also recommend checking out James' track 'Gay Villains' from his album 'Low Hanging Fruit.'

That is a crossover I would totally rally behind. Homsar was raised by a cup of coffee! -

I am grinning ear to ear. So glad Dabney is getting his due, and with Regina Crimp no less! -
Rapier jokes are NOT funny.

EPISODE 217 — AcroSage Barefoot Boogie

I love how seamlessly and hilariously they incorporated (I'm assuming) Kyle Dunnigan's dog into the proceedings. -
Paul F. Tompkins presents Spontaneanation (Teaser)

SARAH: "Have you taken the class of the local university? Ssss- " *snicker* PAUL: "I took some- wuhh wu-? Are you quite alright, ma'am? You seem to be stricken by s-some unknown malady. You begin a sentence and then you get to the end and then you sort of have a little freak out that I can't explain." SARAH: "Wellllll, I think it's just so hot here in Savannah, Georgia, that I don't know myself!" CHRIS: "Savannah, Georgia." PAUL: "It is! Ohhh, it is a, it is a might close here in Savannah, Georgia." CHRIS: "Savannah, Georgia." SARAH: "IT IS! It is!" PAUL: (inhale) "What the FUCK was I sayin'?" LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL -

I also hope that's the only message he ever leaves on the forums. Lol -

Especially with the endings of The Thrilling Adventure Hour AND Dead Author's looming, it only feels right that he would decide now's the time to create something new from whole cloth! -

I'm totally going to be the 'technically' guy and say that technically we have not been without a regular Paul F. Tompkins podcast: The Dead Author's Podcast. I do concede I may have misinterpreted your use of the term 'regular,' and you may have meant a podcast where Paul is playing himself. Suffice it to say, I too am insanely excited because I am always down for more PFT, and while I do love and miss the podcast outlet for Paul's thoughts that was The Pod F. Tompkast, I am always down for any new ventures he sets forth on, er, I mean, on which he sets forth. -
EPISODE 179 — LIVE from SXSW 2015 with Austin Lucas

I'm really happy with myself because I predicted Boron would be the element! It's a funny word. -
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lHvF_ANqAic Ken's delivery of "Doin' it, doin' it, doin' it right," really tickled me. I love how much everyone in-game is digging Nausica. I'm digging her too!

EPISODE 216 — Being Your Own Parent
KajusX replied to JulyDiaz's topic in Affirmation Nation with Bob Ducca
Bob's inner family was absolutely riveting! lol Love Erin Gibson. Her affinity for riffing on Throwing Shade was a perfect fit for her character's assistance with Bob's various inner-familial issues. -
EPISODE 178 — Allison Weiss' Secret Sad Dance Party
KajusX replied to JulyDiaz's topic in improv4humans with Matt Besser
I was just re-listening to this week's CBB with Lauren as Ho-Ho, and I caught another reference that I hadn't heard since I used to hang around Videogum. When Ho-Ho explains the ping pong balls in Thailand, he/she says, "When a woman loves a man, she sticks a ping pong ball up her hooha and shoots it out into his mouth and back and forth until eternity, and everyone dies." That's totally pooping "back and forth, forever" from Me and You and Everyone You Know. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XB_9UJex4hE ))<>(( -
EPISODE 17 — Me 2 I'm Talkin' U2 To U Too

Oh my, this is amazing right out of the gate! Not a surprise, of course. Just a delight! -

I had to listen to Eugene's unfunny husband character say "But I was hoping that there could be some silver lining to this playbook hehe" six times in a row. So good. I was cracking up. -
Jean-Claude!! Everyone, go listen to Nine Sweaters!! Disc 2, Track 5: 'The Greatest Actor In All of France'

I really enjoyed how genuinely Milana and Horatio enjoyed each other's company, the discussion about music was great and reminded me to pick up Father John Misty's latest, and Jerry Minor of course is always stone-cold killing it. Very exciting news that this is part of a trilogy!

ATTENTION Farts & Pro fans, I've been re-listening to all of Harris' appearances, and I had completely forgotten about Harris' and Adam Scott's appearance on the Los Angeles show of the CBB LIVE Summer Tour 2012, in which they do a Creak Slam Sit character segment featuring Brennis Dentmintsontinmen and John Shantally who work at the Raisin Bran factory. Obviously the CBB LIVE Tour episodes are worth the purchases anyway, but if you want some more Farts & Pro, there's a little bit more for you in this CBB LIVE ep.

Since Lyra was the first to fall in Blaine's world, I don't know how to gauge what's an opportunity for a character intro or not. Sark's intros were very leading, with Sir Richard in that doomed sub the party comes across by chance, as well as finding Damien on the Necromancer's ship. Ever since Lyra's epic demise Ive been searching for context clues along those lines, but so far it's been blue menaces attacking the party or sounds in the distance that the party decides to evade, so my preconceptions mixed with the party's tactical decisions are what make me antsy, mostly due to the fact that you're in studio and I love the way you play, so, it's like having a fav player benched for a bit.
