Everybody, let's stop squabbling about the forums, and focus on what's important: Guy Fieri sucks. I wouldn't piss on him if his hair was on fire. Whenever i see him, I start thinking that his hair might actually be on fire. It really does look like it's on fire sometimes. But I'm not gonna be fooled by Guy Fieri's attempts to get me to piss on him, because you just KNOW he's into that kind of thing. I wouldn't even piss on him if he was on my LAWN and his hair was on fire!! (I think Guy Fieri is on my lawn right now. I'm peeking out my window, and I'm pretty sure that's him. Can somebody please tell Guy Fieri to get off my lawn? I'm scared of him).

Episode 252 — The Creeeeeeepy Halloween Special
daveB from Oakland replied to JulyDiaz's topic in Comedy Bang Bang
Molly Bretthauer's Earwolf debut was great. I always love it when CBB and other shows bring people I didn't know about to my attention. Paul Rust continues to be hilariously demented. Seriously, most comedic performers usually remind me of other comic performers, but there's something unique about Paul Rust. I don't know what it is about that weirdo that makes him so hilarious to me. And big kudos to Steven Yeun for being totally game with whatever gets thrown at him. To all the bellyachers: This was a fine Fang Fang, fully worthy of the Fang Fangs that proceeded it.- 109 replies

Scott missed an opportunity to promote Legal Zoom (ZOOM!!) when he was talking to Steven Yeun about family business and drawing up a will. -

HOWARD: You totally should do a web video series based on your insane restaurant franchise ideas (ShredsStrant, GlishMuff, etc) ,,, -

How 'bout comedy audio bundles? Classic audio bundle. Some of the gay-bashing stuff doesn't hold up so well in the modern era. But other than that ... classic bundle. -
Episode 8 — Lyndon B. Johnson

Did JFK record any of his phone calls or white house meetings? These OG presidents sure liked the sound of their own voices. They should have been podcasters. -

Hey chartists, what is your favorite audio bundle by the Beatles? I like Revolver. I think most audio bundle enthusiasts will agree that one belongs in the Beatles' Top Five Audio Bundles. -
"Speaking of biting a pencil, we want you to bite a pencil during the next break" GOOD SEGUE, BRO!!

if there's any justice in the world, Howard's show notes will end up on display at the Smithsonian Institution, for future generations to appreciate. On a totally unrelated note ... I feel like I started hearing about this band "Cage the Elephant" about three years ago, when Howie and Kuku started reading out Music #Charts. But I haven't seen any evidence of this band existing outside of this podcast. Now at this point, some of you will probably tell me to look up this supposed "band" on the Googles or the WixyPedias, but to that I will say "Stop right there!!" Because I know those things are just instruments of Government lies and psychological operations. Much in the same way that these Steampunks are perpetuating the myth of "blindness". I mean really, a rock music band that calls itself "Cage the Elephant"? How gullible do you think I am? -
So I'm 8 minutes into the show and the guest hasn't been formally introduced yet, but it seems to be some kinda guy who laughs and yells a lot, and makes dumb noises.

Eddie and Snoop's aural exhumation of Bob Marley is pretty creepy.

"Everything in it's Right Place" is one of my favorite Radiohead songs. It's eerie, maybe. Haunting, maybe. But not "creepy". I don't see it as horror-movie material. NME don't know what they're talking about. "Kid A" and "Amnesia" is my favorite Radiohead era. I'm gonna have to respectfully disagree with Howard. And if any of you listen to the Best Show on WFMU, you already know that Suicide's "Frankie Teardrop" is the creepiest song.

So your name is St. Peter? And you're the guy that admits all the angels into Heaven? Well, that is AMAZING! It sure is nice to be here! Hey, when I was down there in California, on Earth, I met a dog ... he had a really nice coat. You know why he had such a nice coat? Well it was because he ate California AVOCADOS! Can you imagine? Do y'all have dogs up here in Heaven? -

Tom Snyder show 1977. Weird meandering panel discussion where Tom tries to suss out what's up with the kids and their crazy new music. Kim Fowley, Robert Hillburn, and Bill Graham ... later joined by teen hooligans Joan Jett and Paul Weller. This is chopped up into several parts on YouTube, but Kim gets the spotlight in this one, starting around 0:58 -
Howard, it's never too late too marry that coffee yogurt and make an honest yogurt out of her.

My catchphrase suggestion is as follows: "You made a poo-poo" Thank you for your consideration.

Kulap said a great thing to Howard: "I've figured out what the show is. You interview the guests, and then I interview you".

I want to overdub all the world's courtroom and police dramas so they include interrogation scenes where the authority figure asks "HAVE YOU EVER GIVEN OR RECEIVEN POLYNESIAN LOVE???"

Episode 244 — An Ode To New York!

THE BROTHERS PARKER (our) Scott, I don't know if you're still in the screenwriting game, but since you uttered this phrase today, I'd like to propose it as a film. A dark family drama in which two brothers struggle against each other for control of the international board game market. The movie would culminate with one brother murdering the other, by smashing him over the head with a giant metal thimble. Or a giant metal shoe. Or perhaps a giant metal Scottish Terrier. You get the idea. Also, the movie should incorporate lots of Parkour . -

Shannon knows some people "on the inside" ... that's how she got ahold of that video (cue "Action News" music).
