  1. I watched the first two episodes of Those Who Can't and it's pretty good. Worth watching just to hear Jason say "Yyyooouuu GOT IT!"

He hasn't been on enough yet to really enter the Pantheon of great Sklarbro characters, but Bill Walton might be the best pure vocal mimicry yet.

Eh, it's Jerry. Not as much now, but it is.

  2. I'm starting to feel really bad for the people involved in making this. Nobody, especially young actors, would want this on their resume.

Honestly, I'm pretty torn about it. On the one hand, I have zero desire to see it, but on the other hand, I think the gang almost HAS to do it just based on how spectacularly it failed. Maybe they could do a live episode where they pair this and the recent Fantastic Four movie...

I wonder--and I'm honestly not trying to be hyperbolic--if HDTGM chose to do this movie, could the amount of listeners that would then rent or buy it just for HDTGM double its total gross? Someone at Universal should really get on that...

didnt this kind of happen with a movie like gooby?

  3. There may be an agreement between the child plaintiff's dad and the aunt. The homeowner's policy will probably cover liability and the may be trying to collect.

You see this kind of thing a lot in car accidents where the driver and passenger are spouses. You'll the passenger spouse sue the driver spouse to collect from the insurance company. I don't know what's going on with the aunt, but she may not be an actual monster.

Yeah, that came out after when the aunt talked. In hindsight, I shouldn'tve sent it in.

  4. I was just reading about this. I kind of wonder if there's some kind of compulsive lying thing going on, because that Times article also pointed out that he lied about where he went to school. It's all so strange.

He used it to have a "cool" story for school and later interviews/podcasts. Doesn't need it now since he's famous, and, not coincidentally, has a standup special coming out.

Also, every New Yorker's 9/11 story is at least 1% embellished. Possible everything he said was true except being in WTC building and working there.
