    Hi forum people I was really funny at work today and made everyone buss up laugh their whole butts off. I can't tell you what it was about because it's not funny now, but trust me, at the time y'all all would have been like "woah what happened to my butt" and I would have probably made a real good joke about bbq because homographs and I was on a roll (like margarine).

     

    That always feels very good, and you know what? I think it's OK that you want to share that good feeling with us after the fact, and I'm going go so far as to say "good job." It's frustrating trying to recapture that feeling later, even though you want to relive it. I get it.

     

    I can't in good conscience laugh, of course, You understand. But good job.

    Yeah they said they needed a guy that could play that one Blues Traveler song. No one else in the band knew all the chords.

     

    I had to quit when Dave Grohl slapped a calculator out of my hand (I was calculating my $-per-chord ratio--pretty nice) and he said I was relying too much on technology or something and that real music came from the heart so I was like "oh yeah??" and I showed him that they have songs on the internet now and he cried and quit the biz

     

     

    Big discrepancy in the number of likes between these two posts--classic situation of traditional stats not telling the whole story. Chanson should be credited with the same number of likes that Andy got, like assists in hockey. Or else we need to create a whole new stat for joke assists, which would get pretty messy. Engineers, is this within your purview? Keep me posted on your progress as you make the reforms.

    i see there is a bit of a culture shock for hh people and they're lashing out at the cbb posters who are, understandably, used to a higher level of discourse. i apologize on the behalf of everyone who has flooded this forum with rote catchphrase gimmickry.

     

    let's try to get things back on track: i haven't checked the pictures, but there was a funny woman guest on this episode and she might be attractive...could be fertile ground for the type of deep textual analysis this forum demands. anyone out there got a crush they wanna share???

    Everyone's upped their games with specific timestamps and careful episode references. So I guess I'll come back later and edit this with such info? I mean probably not, wtf are you guys all big computer-heads or what jeez it's like everyone here works at Google

    One of my best friends has MS and it's actually NOT a funny prank for professional clowns to be making big jokies all the time.

     

    I'll give you guys the BotD (benefit of the doubt) and assume that maybe you read something in a rude magazine about how edgy it is to make jokes with sad diseases. I guess for the twisted minds over at Cracked.com, e.g. Andy Kneis, neurodegenerative disease is the hot topic for goofs and gags. I thought you were better than that, but now I see that I was sorely mistaken.

     

    Maybe you thought that I was better than to rehash this tired old "righteous indignation" forum bit, so I guess we've all learned a little something about disappointment today.

     

    So: I'll be canceling my subscription, etc., etc. Then probably something where I say "ehh wrong," then I talk funny like Sean, maybe make funny pretend photo with like Microsoft logo (bc MS), draw picture of forum guys, then I talk about old forum joke.

    san andreas is a great movie jusy got a sneak peek screening. the guys they got to play dr dre and ice cube looked just like them ! but easy-e looked weird idk why he was so muscley and also why he was the rock? music was great. love NWA! where my hiphop fiends at?

    Like it?! I just gave it a big old smoochy right on the screen and now my phone is all blurry! So uh yeah, I think I like it!

     

    I especially like the ambiguity as to the source of the exclamation. It might be doggy thinking, but then again it might be detective, and isn't that an odd thing for him to be thinking about himself. Like he's got a lot going on in that noggin. Kind of like somebody else we all know, hmm? (me)
