I hope so... I have to assume some other podcast addicts like myself have long since given up on traditional forms of media like TV. Felt the same about the Nerdist TV show too.
-
Also can't wait for the CBB TV show. But I don't have cable or any sort of TV subscription, anyone else in the same boat? I feel like podcasting and other internet-based releases are the way of the future and that the traditional TV format is obsolete and should be on its way out by now. I'll still watch it any way I can; if I am forced to download it I will be donating more than appropriately.

Great to hear Bob on again. And really looking forward to the Vancouver show with David!!! Was kinda hoping PFT would be a part of their show since he's in Van for the festival but looks like he's not in the lineup for the closing show.

Looking very forward to this!!!!

Great clips, and they are right when they say the Bumbershoot episodes are WELL worth the $9.99. Some of the funniest moments in CBB history right there.

Any chance of CBB at the Vancouver comedy festival in February? I emailed them and they said they were going to look into it. PFT, Doug Loves Movies and a ton of other great comics are playing throughout the festival

Earwolf podcast art in iTunes not downloading
Hobocop replied to janus1172's topic in General Earwolf
Most Earwolf ones for me have never shown artwork. Comedy Bang Bang, How Did This Get Made, and Earwolf Presents show up... Earwolf Presents shows the "analyze phish" art, not sure if it's changed. On my home computer, CBB's artwork is still the old "Comedy Death Ray" artwork. I've noticed a lot of non-Earwolf podcasts have the same issue, and also notice that the Nerdist podcasts all seem to work fine. Maybe there's some secret Nerdist knows that nobody else does? Apple asks me to sign in before updating any artwork, but after signing in nothing changes. It doesn't really bother me though, as I rarely listen to podcasts for the artwork -
Loved it, looking forward to hearing more of these!!

"Rivers of Lava! Rivers of Lava Plumbing!" made laugh so I hard at work I had to pretend I was coughing.... love this podcast! Everyone is hilarious.... and Andy Daly should be in every episode IMO, he's perfect at this!

Honest opinion... I wasn't a fan of M. Cho's songs. Lyrics seemed incredibly predictable and not creative or humorous at all. I'm not a fast-forwarder, I like to give everything a fair chance. Not complaining at all, I'm sure most listeners probably loved her music, and CBB still remains #1 out of the 19 podcasts I listen to every week. The only reason I am even bringing it up is because I don't believe that anyone should be embarrassed to voice their opinion when there's something they don't like about the show.

EARWOLF's POST-PODCAST TAG: "THE 'JOKE' DEAD"
Hobocop replied to GroundWater's topic in General Earwolf
Never given this a thought, in both earbuds and pro DJ headphones I've never had the outro clip or be any louder than the rest of the podcast, or be annoying in any other way. It feels relatively short. I don't think it's supposed to be funny, other than in the context of the original episode (must be one of the few CDRs I haven't heard yet). I can see how some people would find the screeching voice annoying, but IMO it's not that bad. My advice: Listen to one episode of the Lavender Hour podcast with Natasha Leggero's screeching laugh, from then on all else will pale in comparison on the annoying meter. -

Any Vancouver-ites? I'm not far from Van, considering going to Paul F.'s show on the 30th or maybe Doug Loves Movies in February. If Comedy Bang Bang comes up here again I'm there!!!

Yet another great epi-ghost! Been listening to so many podcasts for a while now and CBB is always the one I am most looking forward to by a long shot. <3

I was thinking of ET when they got to Drew Barrymore and Scrotum... mainly cause ET kinda looks scrotum-y.... Tom Green does make more sense though. This was one of my favorite episodes in a while, thanks Spot and the guests!

Live, non-funny, musical guests: I'm not on board.
Hobocop replied to Shepherd's topic in Comedy Bang Bang
Yeah I miss the comedy song breaks, occasionally I'd hear a great comedy song I hadn't heard of before... great for fans of comedy musicians. -
I originally rented this movie because Mike Patton did the soundtrack.... The score for this film was totally underrated, it works well with the movie but even on its own, it's got some great melodies and is indicative of Patton's more creative side as opposed to his ubiquitous vocal noise type projects.

Live, non-funny, musical guests: I'm not on board.
Hobocop replied to Shepherd's topic in Comedy Bang Bang
Well said.... I think non-comedy-muso guests every so often would be a great change of pace, but as a regular feature eats into the real estate of actual comedy content. ~15 minutes of live music throughout an episode is ~15 minutes less of classic CBB features.
