Of course, because teen comedy law requires that the nerdiest, most obnoxious character always ends up being the most BALLIN'! Did he seriously bring that fuckin' fake muscle suit to France? Whaaaaa?!?

Also, SO much hugging. Holy shit, all that hugging. And like you pointed out, it's like they'd all JUST seen each other and done the same thing.

I was on the Bozo Show when I was 10, which is pretty standard for anyone growing up in the Chicagoland area. Forget the "throw the ball in a series of buckets that get further and further away" game, I was lucky to get out with my LIFE. That was nearly 26 years ago, and I think I can safely assume that I'm the only one of my friends that went that day that HASN'T succumbed to clown murder, because I haven't seen any of those guys in like 20 years.

It's no "Nundercover" (really, what IS?), but "Stallonely" is pretty fucking incredible. Frank has been involved with SO many of his brother's films (I counted at least 10), so how about trying to get him for a future ep? He's an HDTGM All Star in his own right, having appeared in this and "Hudson Hawk", as well as having also performed music in "Over the Top". He also took part in Hulk Hogan's "Celebrity Championship Wrestling" a few years back and could have some good stories about that, which also featured HDTGM alum Dennis Rodman. -
Which Christopher Lambert movie should we pick for HDTGM?

I guess we're going to have to keep posting creepy clown videos until we find the right ones.
-
That's one of those OTHER killer clowns. Jason specifically mentioned his having a van. So hard to keep them all straight.

Y'know, there's this urban legend I heard about where people have died mysteriously seven days after watching a tape with "LOL" on it. It also had some weird ghost girl shit on it, but I'm positive it was the "LOL" part that did the damage. -

There's also that Doors song. -
And then she had them out for way longer for what had to be way less money later in the year in "Monster's Ball".

I feel like there was already a theead on this one, or was it just talked about a lot in something like the "Movies they HAVE to do" thread?

I haven't seen this in a while, but with the way they talk about it, am I correct in assuming it's one of an entire group of movies where the audience IN the film has a weird meta knowledge where they're privy to the same information that we, the audience watching the film, only have? For instance, main character has a conversation with a loved one about some seriously personal shit, he makes a shoutout to that moment later during a piano recital, a martial arts exhibition, or the first performance of a Broadway show, and the crowd loses their fucking mind instead of asking "The fuck was that? That made NO sense at all". My go-to for this has always been the Brittany Murphy/Dakota Fanning joint "Uptown Girls", where the kid starts doing some stupid air guitar bullshit during the big important ballet thing and the crowd fucking loves it. -

Given the ideas tossed around about where Tony goes after this, and the filmmakers penchant for showing every second of him walking in real time, I think the only logical direction for a trilogy to go in would be for him to just keep going and going while picking up followers in what could only be described as "Strutting Forrest Gump". Not even treating every woman in his life like shit will stop the strut! -

Remember in the "Cobra" episode (or maybe it was in the forum) where they discussed how Stallone tried to get it changed to where he'd be credited as the new author of the book that it was based on that he DID NOT write? Craziness. -
Like any movie of his in the last decade, they just whipped up a story based on wherever he wanted to go that day. Usually, it just means a paid for vacation for him and his buddies to some fun or exotic locale, but this time, he apparently just needed to make a stop at Bed, Bath & Beyond. There you go, mystery solved!

What I think, that I haven't really seen mentioned anywhere, was that while they were hitting on that Easter period, I think they were ALSO trying to cash in on the timing of "Noah", the big budget Biblical epic that was supposed to be a bigger deal than it was. It did OK, but "Heaven is for Real" made CRAZY money for what it was, almost 100 million, and "God's Not Dead" made pretty disgusting money too (60-ish million?). I think their success overshadowed the performance of the film that they were hoping to capitalize on, that it was no accident that they both hit when they did.

Oh wow, I hadn't even looked at RT or seen a trailer. I've just seen too many musical biopics and fuckin' LOVE "Walk Hard" (the review that someone posted here incorrectly said "Rock Hard", the bastards...), so I didn't know that that was pretty much the general consensus. Looking at Box Office Mojo today, it looked like this thing died a death.

I've seen it, but I don't really remember a thing about it. I was 12, it was on Showtime, and I was just waiting for tits.
-
And that movie ISN'T "Howard the Duck".

Quality control is a bit of a loose term when it comes to Asylum films, I'd imagine.
