Oh fuck that movie and that book. That had to be the worst idea ever to think that fans would be so ginned up for a movie that was constantly getting pushed back that they would read a near mandatory graphic novel that would only slightly explain what the fuck was happening in the movie.
-
I will say though that the recent tie-in for Dredd was actually pretty good, if not just a rehash of some of the film's plot points. Also just recently comic prequels/sequels were released for Trick 'R' Treat and Krampus and were incredible. The Krampus on in particular is done in the anthology style of Trick 'R' Treat and actually helps explain the films kinda ambiguous ending.

Now that's just ridiculous.

See I wish there was more places like that near where I live. There are a couple pinball museums in a reasonable distance from me which are great. You basically pay 15 bucks and they are all set to free play and each room is dedicated to a certain era (50s-70, 80s, 90s, and 2000s). Best time I've had blowing a couple hours in a long time.

To be fair, where else are you going to keep your grenades?

Not hard to imagine considering the movie was made because of a bet and written that instant on a cocktail napkin.

I want to bump this because while this movie might be the most poorly conceived film ever made. Almost the entire audio seems like it's spoken by other people than the cast, there is constant 70s porno music playing, and at 75 minutes, this film barely counts as a movie. Also it's now on Amazon Prime so now would be the perfect time for people to watch it.

That seems like a good deal outside of the drunk assholes who would get so sloshed that they end up breaking the games and ruining it for other players. That was the only thing that was worse than the game being out of order in that you put your money in a functioning game, and the controls were off, usually the shooting games with the gun peripherals. So while the game works, the aim is for shit and you can't really play the game, which I think was a cheap ploy by arcade owners to scam players out of money by not putting an out of order sign on the gun. Unfortunately the time of $.25 and $.50 games are a thing of the past outside of old retro games, though $.75 isn't too bad for a quality game. I have found some great books online about arcades and some of the crazy machines that were made in the heyday, just haven't gotten around to buying them yet, but they look perfect for the arcade aficionado's collection. Atari: Game Over is a great doc about the recent digging up of the ET Atari games and Indie Game: the Movie is okay as the some of the subjects of the film are a bit pretentious about their work and standing inside the gaming industry.

By 97 most of the arcades that I went to were starting to get overrun by gangs or the games were so poorly managed that you were lucky if half even worked. That and at that time there was a boom of expensive games coming out that were costing $.75/play minimum so it wasn't worthwhile to go to an arcade except for the one off visits during vacation and such.

To be fair they might not want to fuck other pandas, not chesty ladies.
-
The San Francisco based porn company Kink.com, kinda already did that with a scene where a girl dreams of having a gangbang with a bunch of guys in panda outfits, acting like pandas. And there is a whole site dedicated to girls banging people in panda outfits. So I guess the lesson to remember is that for the internet, always Rule 34.

YYYEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAHHH!!!

Lord of War to me might be one of his best performances in years where he plays it straight and never really goes over the top, that was all done by Jared Leto.
-
Ah the movie whose main character's final conflict was sinking a free throw with a grenade.
-
I remember being confused seeing this because when they initially free the titular character they swap him with I believe a corpse, but that wasn't specified at the time so as a kid I thought they had done the switch between the King and prisoner. So when I watched the rest of the movie until the point that their ploy is revealed I thought the Man in the Iron Mask was acting douchey in order to keep up the appearance of the vengeful king and was completely confused when it was revealed that they hadn't switched him out yet.

Guess I'm going to be in the minority on this but I'm excited for this movie, as it appears to be blending the best of a few great storylines together, albeit rushing some things together. The first part of the trailer very much came off like Luthor by Brian Azzarello where Superman was new to the world and Bruce Wayne had a Luthor-esque xenophobe mentatlity to him, the middle is Dark Knight Returns given the fights between the two with Luthor playing them off against each other, with the third mixing the Trinity stories and Doomsday. I wouldn't say DC grounded their movies in realism outside of the Nolan Batman films but I can understand why people are against the gritty tone the recent films have taken. Only recently Superman has been more about his mindset and how he deals with these godlike powers that he has, prior he was always the boyscout who wouldn't hurt a fly say some (ignoring many Superman stories where he DID kill). That's not to say that I'm going in without hesitation, Eisenberg's Luthor gives me pause for concern though I'm suspecting the aloof version in the beginning of the trailer is an act to cover the more sinister side of himself. The problem now with movies of any fandom is the fandom itself I feel. The phrase "this is why we can't have nice things" comes to my mind as it basically becomes and us vs. them scenario where Marvel fanboys are attacking DC fanboys and vice versa so that in the end no one can really just go into a movie to enjoy it. I'm not saying that's what it is here but shit once a single trailer hits you become inundated with the pros and cons and it makes it not fun. I'll give any movie a shot, hell I saw Fantastic Four in theaters on the first day, and if it's a bag of shit I'll say so. The recent run of The Walking Dead is another example, there were numerous articles where people were saying the show should lose half its audience because they didn't like ONE episode because it didn't live up to whatever expectations that they had. Others were saying they deserve better because they watch the show, which to me is like people here that used to complain about the show changed theme songs or skipped a week due to scheduling issues, and that the hosts need to do something about the free podcast that they are giving to us.

And he went full tilt in the scene, which is pretty funny because he was really known only as the Law & Order district attorney to most people and to see him comically go full porn star was hilarious.

I doubt it's more upsetting that the Kathleen Turner/Sam Waterson sex scene from Serial Mom. http://www.anyclip.com/movies/serial-mom/parental-sex/

Marc Anthony had been in a couple things prior to this, most notably Carlito's Way and would follow this up as one of the main antagonists in The Substitute. It was weird that he just disappeared part way into the movie after they established him as a lenient kind of agent, was anything mentioned in the oral history about his part?

This might have it beat. Though with this password you're probably less likely to get ants.

Also need we remember that Angelina Jolie had bleached dreadlocks in this and that the Reigns family are the worst deal makers every because they are offered something like a couple hundred thousand for the fifty cars, but the cars listed, which included a couple Aston Martins, a Lamborghini, four Mercedes, five Porsche, a Rolls-Royce, and five Ferraris would total a couple million dollars.

Well it should also be noted that Marlon Wayans was offered the role of Robin originally for Batman Returns but was cut due to the feeling of their being too many characters. He was then brought on for Batman Forever but the change in director from Burton to Schumacher led to him being cut along with Billy Dee Williams who was slated to return as Harvey Dent/Two-Face. He would receive a fee for the late change in casting and admits that he still receives royalty checks from that film.

Sorry but being declared legally dead is far more damaging than your credit card being cut.

Yeah but with that body and balding head, he was definitely looking at the Tuesday afternoon shift.
