    Lonely Lady (1983)

Not to discredit that amazing looking trailer, but it just feels like it's treading "Killer Klowns from Outer Space/Meant to be Silly" territory. Pia called The Lonely Lady "A Cross Between 'Emmanualle' and 'Rocky'", which leads me to believe that this was meant to be a story of a woman who sexes her way to the top only to lose, which, to quote June, was REALLY Upsetting. This movie doesn't seem to have any sense of what we should get out of it. I mean, Pia is forced to go lesbian TWICE in order to get her screenplay considered. And does eveyone else realize that Ray Liotta is in this?!? And that this story may have been based on the life of Jacqueline Susann?!? Bananas.

    New Years Eve

I really want to see the 30 Rock parody "Martin Luther King Jr. Day" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GBR6VmiLc3w&feature=youtube_gdata_player

Episode 65 — Howard the Duck: LIVE!

Okay, I'm just realizing that June's "mic drop" was her epic win, not her accidentally dropping a microphone like I thought. My bad. But onto the entire "Michelle" saga. Thank you Paul for bringing it up! I believe that the phone messages were just flirtations, but Michelle was serious. I mean, she had Howard's address and mailed him while she was on vacation. Even if that was just a prop, it made the entire Lea Thompson-Howard romance even more angering! Also, Kristen Schaal was one of the greatest guests ever and everyone was on their A-Game. Any chance of a show in Houston in the future or at SXSW next year?

    New Years Eve

I remember seeing Valentine's Day, and thought it was just boring. When I heard this got a Razzie nod, I wonder what made it worse. Anyone else can confirm it being Crazy Bad?

    Man of Steel (2013)

Agreed. Sucker Puch even got a little respect from me because I did like what I was looking at, which really helped me forget that the story was BS.

    Man of Steel (2013)

It seems to be hit or miss for most people. It's Beautifully Shot and finds a good balance between the traditional light-heartedness of Superman and a realism that comes with all modern Superhero movies, in my opinion. However, some think it's too "Dark" and has way too much destruction. I thought the property damage was redundant, but it didn't ruin it for me. I'd reccomend it, but only if you know that there could be problems.

    Man of Steel (2013)

*sigh*, to go over the Zack Snyder filmography Dawn of the Dead, 75% RT 300, 60% RT Watchmen, 64% RT Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole, 50% RT Sucker Punch, 23% RT Man of Steel, 56% RT Snyder is, by no means, a Chris Nolan or Joss Whedon, but he produces fine work. Sucker Punch is really the only blip on his radar, so I don't see why a forum like this is here (to quote Shannon). He produces fun entertainment for moviegoers, and that really is a lame target. And to the new points, Product Placement is in a lot of places, at least it wasn't Michael Bay level, the casualties are distracting, but it really shouldn't be the main focus in an origin story, and Krypton was amazing, so I don't see how that could be a critique. Those three are easily just 5 minutes. and can this forum end please I'm tired of defending this.

Episode 65 — Howard the Duck: LIVE!

I've probably said this 47 times, but I fell in love with June again in this episode.

Episode 65 — Howard the Duck: LIVE!

June WOULD think that the ducks would eventually turn human.

    Blue Chips (1994)

Shaq plays a Basketball player about as well as Mariah Carey played a singer. But Shaq is far from this film's only problems. Nick Nolte's freakout in the first scene, Ed O'Neill as the reporter who wants to take down Nolte, but is gone for 1 hour of film time and doesn't even do anything? J.T. Walsh killing it as the protagonist? It just is amazing.

    Blue Chips (1994)

Gotta be clearer than that. I really am just amazed by this scene. Does Shaq call Mary McDonnell a bitch RIGHT IN FRONT OF HER? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KUnaFhIJ17Q

    Episode 64.5 — Minisode 64.5

Oh god, sounds tough. And really, if it was worth talking about, they would have brought it up. But onto this movie, I was depressed because with the Biker thugs and the Homeless Woman, I began to feel sympathy for Howard as someone who was scared in a new world. That point was IMMEDIATELY thrown out the window. I'm actually shocked I gave the movie that credit. But yes, the movie is...odd. Some may say horrible. Others may describe Lea Thompson and Howard's Romance as "Straight-Up Unholy". But I was willing to look over ALL of that. What INFURIATED me was everything that was going on in the movie after Jeffery Jones was found in the wreckage. WHY did no one take his claims of being an alien seriously? WHY DID THE DINERS try to murder Howard. WHY DO THE POLICE NEVER REALIZE THAT THEY CAN SHOOT DOWN HOWARD'S PLANE UNTIL HALFWAY THROUGH THE CHASE SEQUENCE? WHY DID THAT ENTIRE SEQUENCE HAPPEN?!? WHY IS THERE NO LOGIC?!?!? ANGER. RAGE. ARGHH. I will give the movie credit though. "Howard may be a duck, but you people are Animals!" Control. Alt. Fucking SAVE.

    Episode 64.5 — Minisode 64.5

Alas, 'tis not. A double dose of Stallone.
  14. Do you really think June would pay mind to Bill Hader? Deschanel is where the money's at.

    Episode 64.5 — Minisode 64.5

Okay, I'm sorry, I'm 7 minutes in and this is already one of the most depressing things I have ever seen. I'd seen reviews and clips of this movie, but... MAN is this unsettling.

    Demolition Man

Confirmed on the FB page, this WILL be the movie for the NY show! (Along with 'Over The Top')

    Man of Steel (2013)

There's a reason Sucker Punch is in the lesser half of the Snyder Canon. I would also like to go into a long extended thesis on why the changing definition of masculinity is why we have all of these sexuality-questioning heros, but I'm too lazy and don't want to waste so much time justifying my mancrush on Andrew Garfield (I'm sorry, he is just so unf in that suit)

    Man of Steel (2013)

I'll be frank, most guys who play Superheros are eye candy. All of the Promo Posters of Andrew Garfield as Spider-Man mind as well be captioned with "Dat Ass" I mean... uhhh... I'm done.

    ELO + OJN - Xanadu

I will admit, seeing Gene Kelly on Roller Skates did make me smile. We also need to talk about the fact that his character is apparently the exact same character from 1944's "Cover Girl", with the exact same backstory. Day 3 and Xanadu is still stuck in my head (XANADU da da duh da da XANADUuUU now we are here IN XANADUuuuUU)
  20. June was in New Girl with Zooey, who was on The Simpsons, which also hosted Glenn Close at one point, who starred with Harrison Ford in Air Force One, who was in Cowboys and Aliens with Daniel Craig, who was in The Golden Compass with Nicole Kidman, who was in Moulin Rouge with Kylie Minogue, who was offended by the gang's criticism of Street Fighter, thus used her connections to shut down The Happening as payback. Also, am I the only one who played the Sad Trombone sound 15 times in a row?

    ELO + OJN - Xanadu

Well then that must mean this was a documentary on how the Reagan Administration wasn't tough enough on those Damn Mural Muses. But guys, we need to restart the movement on this movie! The fact that the fish in Don Bluth's animation has better acting skills than the man he represents? Gene Kelly tap dances with the Ghost of Olivia Newton-John? I'M OBSESSED!

    ELO + OJN - Xanadu

Holy Crap, what did I just watch? I loved that I was pretty much lost by the time the muses exit the painting, and that for the longest time I thought that the movie's conflict would wind up being Michael Beck (Who is HORRIBLE) and Gene Kelly fighting over Olivia Newton-John (Who is pretty much on autopilot here), only to discover that there really was no conflict. Also, Roller Skating has nothing at all to do with this plot, yet is the major theme to this movie. This movie would be amazing to do, I just want the guys to figure out what the fuck was going on before they encounter the most anticlimatic ending ever! I will give ONJ and ELO credit, Xanadu is unbearably catchy. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oWeJ9p42ufg
