  1. PlanBFromOuterSpace - i never really liked Adam Sandler much on SNL found him to be annoying for the most part. I liked The Wedding Singer" "Click" was ok I liked Walken so I watched it for that. "Punch-Drunk Love" was good too. but for the most part he makes fart comedy's. "That's My Boy" sums up everything I hate about Adam Sandler's film career. Note i've never seen "That's My Boy" but from the trailer it says everything I feel about him. using his name to sell a crappy made comedy. that could be a good movie for all I know but i most likely will never know that. i'll watch "LOL" before I'll watch "That's My Boy". The funny part is he can be a good actor at times if he just doesn't get all mental like he does in most of his movies.

    Conan the Barbarian

    The Running Man (1987)

I am with cat & beard on this one the running man is the second greatest movie ever made. so many great one liners in this movie. ok I will admit this film doesn't stand up very well to time. looking at the trailer it's sorta showing it's age. but it's still on cable tv and if i happen to fall on that channel I am watching it. Wow if you type The Running Man into youtube you find some really strange Japanese game shows. this is some messed up programming. they are breaking eggs at there heads trying to see who can break the most eggs at there head. 22mins into it. RIP Spirit Bear- sorry to tell you this but your link is dead...

    Red Sonja (1985)

Listen to me now and believe me later: how dare you all make fun of the greatest movie ever made.....LOL and the second greatest story ever told!! Note I hope you all know i am joking..
  6. You know they made a hellraiser in space, it's for real. it's called Hellraiser: Bloodline and you know something it was shockly not that bad.. LOL. I keep PVRing this deathrace 2000 movie and never got around to watching it. I loved the original one. as to why they don't do any pre 80's movie's that would be a good question to ask Paul in the Q&A with Paul Scheer section, chicken... Mind you it is a good question to ask. I don't think old movies are off topic. I think they just are looking for movies that are available to the public, IE alot of netflix. MY two cents on the subject at hand. we still have not had a true Jean-Claude Van Damme movie yet.... we also haven't had a steven segal movie yet...

    Valley Girl (1983)

i love this movie and I should because I own it on dvd. it's one of Nicolas Cage's best movies. i know to young eyes Nicolas Cage may look ridiculous as a wanna be punk rocker as he clearly isn't but I enjoyed this movie for what it is at the time. a 80's Romance comedy. I love these kinda coming of age movies. Sixteen Candles, better off dead was a good one. who could forget Pretty in Pink. I can't think of anything over the top crazy about this film. sorry I don't see it being a HDTGM movie. But that's just my opinion...

    Spawn (1997)

I was talking about this in another thread, I think the attack of the killer clowns. May need paramedics on hand to revive him in cause of a mental break down. Not sure if that would be a fun show.
  10. jarrycanada

    LOL

i can see Miley Cyrus becoming the next Lindsay Lohan.

    Conan the Barbarian

No he's got some useful stuff in the commentary, the part about Grace Jones is price less. to me it was like hanging around with Arnold watching the movie together. I like commentary's like that. I don't need to know the technical aspects of the movie making process. Robert Rodriguez's commentary tracks are like that shares useful tidbits but for the most part he's just hanging around with you.he loves extras on dvd/blurays so his discs are worth picking up too. That accent worked for him in the terminator. He really did sorta sound siri like machine. it worked for me. but if you are Austrian i am guessing you would be on the floor laughing at him. much like we do when he hear a English person trying to play a killer robot. Mind you I think Summer Glau did a not so bad job doing a terminator but then again i like Summer Glau so.

    Conan the Barbarian

Hey seanotron, Red Sonja is the greatest action movie of all time!!! or so says arnold. Mind you, Conan the Barbarian is really fringing bad. I don't like the original conan movie that much, I love it! as it's got the best sound track music of all time and three word for any of you haters out there, James Earl Jones. Need I say more. This is one of those movie's you should blind buy on dvd the collectors edtion as it's got arnolds commentary track. that alone is worth the price of the movie. getting back to the Music that is what was missing with the remake for me. the music is so kick ass. it makes you excited for the movie. it's really too bad they only made two movies as it was planed to do three but they screwed up the second one and arnold did this movie called the terminator you may of heard of it and that screwd up the plans for any third. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5ZY2mRG5mzg I love that music and I love that movie...

    Elektra (2005)

Once Upon a Time in Mexico (2003)

did you ever see the first two? El Mariachi and Desperado? You maybe right about Johnny Depp Eye makeup theory. looking at IMDB when ever you see him off camera he's got the tinted eye glasses on. the kind you wear when your vision is getting screwed up and so you don't want people to notice your wearing thick eye glasses so you get prescription tinted lens instead. no one will notice. Jack Nicholson does this trick. look at his eyes on.

Once Upon a Time in Mexico (2003)

it's not Robert Rodriguez best movie but I'll take it any day over those stupied spykids flicks he keeps cranking out. I hated those movies. seanotrontime - asnwer is because the white guy is evil in all of Robert's El Mariachi movies. he's "the man" Btw I didn't like Johnny Depp in this movie but i'll still like a sucker watch it on cable if it shows up.
  17. Maybe he's from the future and he's trying to tell us something..

    Stephen King's The Langoliers

it's got David Morse from the greenmile and Quantum Leap star Dean Stockwell. plus Balki!!! clearly has some award winning special effects http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FPqML9D4n1g I'll have to check this out just because it's got dean stockwell, he'd never sign up for any two bit production would he.. I am also a sucker for Stephen king, this looks like it's on the level of the Not sure if it's ready for HDTGM crazy but what ever. thanks for bring it to my attection.

    Stephen King's The Langoliers

was this a made for tv movie? other then Youtube how would someone see it. I like Stephen King books. I watced a interview with him and he spoke about how he green lights everyone that offers him a deal. He said he does it at the risk of the movie sucking because he knows that he may never get another chance to see his book made into a movie. I am paraphrasing what he said btw but you get the jest of it.

    Dreamcatcher (2003)

I think this movie should be saved for when they get a really good guest host like my make a wish dream host Timothy Olyphant would be killer. or maybe they could get Morgan Freeman that would be great... i like Morgan Freeman I wish we would get to see him more in main stream films but just little camos, nothing too big. we don't get to see him that much anymore.... i think he should just pointlessly show up in movies.

    Gymkata

Spoilers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! A long long time ago in a galaxy not so far away!! now that I think about it, it wasn't really all that long ago .... Watched all of this movie last night. I saw it the way it was made to be seen. on a 28" tv off of youtube... there is a part in the film when the story just drags on too long. kinda like in the name of the king. the film starts out really good when the Gymkata Kid starts out in trailing and you see some over the top crazy training moves that make no sense at all. I Mean what possible situation would you get into that you would need to stand on your two hands and walk around with them? My favorite part is the ending! I love the part with the star wars space program. like you need to get permission to place a space lazer over a country. what the fuck!!! it's outer space for christ sake. I sure hope this is going to be a good podcast I can't wait.

    SQUIRRELS

I had one leap at me when I was on operation relocate. you know they say that squirrels like peanut butter, that is no joke. i used peanut butter in a squirrel trap and set it up to catch them and move them to the park down across the river. they can't really get back across the river because they don't like water and they are not that real smart. but on my way to letting one have it's freedom, he ran at me. Lucky for me i had my shit kicker boots on thank god and I kicked the dam thing away, little fucker. That scared the hell out me as i was not expecting him to do that. most of the time they just run up a near by tree for safety and make a lot of noise. I am going out of my way to safe this poor little creature and he's attacking me.

    SQUIRRELS

if I was doing this trailer i would of done it like this.. at the end rather then the "hold on to your nuts" i would of made it, one word at a time in bold caps locked " DON'T FEED THE SQUIRRELS!" then you hit them with the title of the movie.... just my pointless two cents.
