Scott, I'm a monstrous mr Show fan, and I thought you were right about wycked sceptyr until posehn corrected you. Honest mistake even to a nerd of the show

Favreau is an excellent 'talker' or talk show guest. If you aren't well versed in Table for 5, or was it called Dinner for 5? either way, the episodes are all on youtube, and a lot of them are amazing. If you find the one with Vince Vaughn, Brian Cox, Rory Cochrane, etc, its a real gem. Vintage Vince Vaughn... VVV

I have to admit I'm not a Wompler fan either, it just gets annoying and old, the voice specifically. I think if the Wompler Lissler were guests who got 20 minutes at the end I'd love them, but when I have to hear that shit for an entire hour and 20 minute episode it gets really grating. Maybe she should start her own school podcast for all you Wompler-ites out there

I don't normally find Adam Scott that funny on pcasts, but he murdered this one. And if its not funny, then laughter is miserable, but when they are on a roll how could they not crack each other up. Really liked celebrity wipe off tangent, and the thing about zombie buttholes. Probably the most I've laughed out loud since the Mulaney/Kroll/Caplan episode, or maybe Poehler/mantzoukas/leykus

Are Hamm and Kroll a couple? They commonly do CBB shows together, and you get the sense listening to this episode that they really get a kick out of each other. Early on after Hamm arrived, when theyre joking around, you can hear how often they each break and start laughing at the other. It's so great to witness that respect and admiration some celebs have for one another. Here's to hoping Kroll can get Hamm to do a little guest spot on Season 2 of Kroll Show. Maybe a guest on Too Much Tuna?

Not sure which # it was, but the one with the gas rebate and the charicature artist was friggin hilarious. Look up the charicature artist bit on youtube, watched in bed at like 3am and I was bursting out laughing, woke the whole house up

Episode 5 — Mitch Hurwitz
StanSitwell replied to admin's topic in By The Way, In Conversation with Jeff Garlin
He was much better used on Workaholics, he brought a ton of laughs from just being Mitch. If you aren't a fan of the show, its episode 2-02 "Dry Guys", he plays an HR running a substance abuse program -

So, anyone know when the video goes up? Listened to the audio this morning on a long drive, want the video Scott AXXerman!!!

I agree, I've only listened to the CBB pcast for like 6-8 months, and I'm not the biggest Tim/Eric fan, so I was weary of him when I first heard him on here. His Ching Chong matinee talks, as well as the Bad Company "FEEEEEL LIKE MAKIN LOOOOOVE" bits on this one just kill me. I came here just now because I was in my car and feel like makin love came on, and all I could think about was Heidecker singing the shit out of it

Episode 202 — Philip Traumatic Seymour Disorder
StanSitwell replied to admin's topic in Comedy Bang Bang
How dare he give feedback on the show's fictitious guests... if everyone hated it and no one said anything, and they brought the character back again and again it that would be GREAT! I thought the character was weak as hell too, just nothing there, repetitious and annoying in my long car ride -
Just as 'funny' as his.. which is kind of my point "new no-no! If redbox is gonna charge me 4$ a night to keep their DVDs late.... then they should pay me 4$ a day that they don't have the movie I want!! I WANT MAGIC MIKE DAMMIT!"

It's Time To Do Plugs (Huey Lewis parody)

I too had a strong interest in Huey and the news when I was like 6, Phil Collins too, if I wasn't a little kid I would have been Patrick Bateman. Now I always think its so weird to have liked an artist like that at such a young age. -
I found Paul Rust to be very much not funny, especially here. When I watched the video it was worse, I just kept feeling like "why did they let that guy in?", and I never knew he looked like a younger brother to Stop Clockerman. So he got the gig via nepotism right?? New no-no's had made me laugh once, but it honestly appears he puts in 13 seconds into writing those jokes. Yes I know they arent supposed to be funny, but they are... they should be funnier, because I think I'd rather listen to a 12 year old kid who thought they were being honest about new no-no's and it would likely be funnier than Rust

If i was standing in a lineup with Scott and Paul Rust... I would seem so damn good looking its not even funny

"Lights, camera, FRICTION! It's Comedy Bang Bang" please scream FRICTION, it will be much more disconcerting

Not a huge fan of Tim's stuff, watched tom goes to the mayer a bit, but he is a good guest on CBB. I think my favorite appearance of his would be the one where he talks about filming Ching Chong Matinee with Woody, that was leaps and bounds better than the other recent 2.

ugh why can I not post on earwolf without it popping up twice?
-
Well I mean I did it in the shower, while I tried to rub the denorex into my awful hair, but my good friend Gil Faizon didnt want to get his hands all wet
-
Double post, sorrrrry This thinkpad has been acting up, I ran water over it, did everything you're supposed to do

When I saw Jason, ed, Husky, Daly, and Pally, I thought for sure that Scott was going to have a role on Sex in the City for Dudes. that was a pretty good skit, the "Jay-Z... definitely, and Kanye as vice president" was golden Publizity was a bit grating, but the "I'm twenty-uhhhh years old" line got me, and a bunch of Kroll's choice pronunciations of 'kipcakes' made it worth it, and the Mitch Hurwitz cameo. The SITC for Dudes and mic'ed up basketball ref I thought were really good

I was amazed at how much Horatio sounded like Paul F Tompkins, good episode though. The whole rolling dick story was amazing, and I like cat Brendan Fraser, he's my favorite actor of all the cat-Mummy films
-
I fully agree, it was one of the first episodes I listened to and THE episode that made me pay attention as each new episode was revealed. I guess Gil and George just speak to me, because that stuff was ridiculously funny. Just the skill they have in improv'ing crazy crap out of nowhere and actually having great laughs and jokes within. I find myself using their incorrect pronounciations all the time now

Earwolf needs to give Adomian a show of his own to let the Dov Charney, Tom Leykis, and Huel Howser impersonations fly. Loved the Dov Charney one without knowing it was James or who he was, when I heard this as one of my first CBB podcasts, I was completely sold, Adomian kills it, and Jason and Amy are solid too. So Leykis101.com is also a real website, I cant believe the most absurd shit that he said is actually real... well I guess deadbeatdad.com and condom jungle aren't real
