EPISODE 231 — Slow Dance Party

I know they are busier than Armen (I hope so at least), but your point is great and made me think of June or Casey Wilson who would both make an awesome Whoch co-host

EPISODE 231 — Slow Dance Party

But the problem isnt people sharing negative opinions and the white knights saying I disagree with your opinion because _______ and then the negative opinion havers being butthurt about it... its people sharing negative opinions and the white knights saying their opinions are wrong, baseless, have no place on a forum, etc. its absurd, if you dont agree, say why and move on This was my first Armen-cast, but I was warned to not bother listening to his episodes by someone who referred me. This was nothing compared to a Howard episode, but it still had its moments. I'm not on the Armen is useless and should die team, but I'm never on the "STOP BEING NEGATIVE LETS ALL BE HAPPY FRIENDS AND QUOTE OUR FAVORITE LINES!!!!!" side of the comment thread

EPISODE 231 — Slow Dance Party

Guys, forums are for baseless optimism and sweetness regardless of ones opinion or true feelings It is not a place to share your opinions on the show, it is a place to say you loved something, pretend you loved something or hide your feelings, and nothing more, ever

    EPISODE 349 — The 6th Anniversary Show!

This was probably my favorite Neil character. I guess I'm not as high on him as most of the rest of you seem to be, I think hes good enough that he can save a weak episode with a first-timer that doesn't quite fit in with his odd character work. Also agree that Whitehead was a bit unnecessary here, just not the time for another child character without anything that interesting going on when there are heavyweights to share the mics with. Was very happy to hear Tommy Middleditch in the room, I guess Scott and company have listened to the crowd chanting for encore performances from him. Honestly learning how talented he is as an actor and character man have made me that much more impressed with his work on Silicon Valley. Didnt know of him before seeing the show so at first my reaction was where did they find this perfect geek? Now I know that he's not that geek but a talented actor who created that geek Lastly, no idea why but Paul F Tompkins Santa Claus is one of my favorite quick characs. I would love to hear his ep of Lauren's show be like a playboy-ish variety hour "with Bawdy Santa"

EPISODE 231 — Slow Dance Party

Is that ep photo photoshopped? Kulap appears to be in the foreground but looks like she should be bigger in frame if she was. Its giving me a very weird vibe the longer I look at that last cast episode photo

    EPISODE 349 — The 6th Anniversary Show!

Come on Scott, asking if people ever celebrate their sex-iversary with Paul Scheer in the room? This is a well-worn bit from the League, Scotty too hottie should be up to date on the league seeing as most of the cast are friends of his, right?

    Episode 1612 - T.J. Miller

I think I still have a solid hour to go but this one has been a gem so far. Jimmy mistaking "Linsanity" with "Listeria" was gold I may have to start listening to TJ's podcast

    EPISODE 230 — 29 Forever?

Yeah in R2 I was thinking more along the lines of just an R2 unit working as a mall cop. Could ride a segway if he/she wants

    EPISODE 230 — 29 Forever?

Agreed, so can some chartist with skills and a little free time make some photoshops off of that? I was instantly imagining Paul Blart with C3PO's head

    EPISODE 348 — Is Y'all My Daddy?

thanks for replying multiple times, and for letting me know that you are the barometer for what should and shouldn't be shared on a public forum... Its not that other people's opinions are 'wrong' to the world or you, its just that they arent analyzed in depth enough prior to posting. So once again, you know when PFTs laughter is legitimate (always) and when other people's opinons arent well thought out enough, and you feel best equipped to judge other people's thoughts and opinions on their merit very mature, adult point of view to have. Were you an only child? So is this forum just for people to repeat the lines of the episode they loved? Let us all know, because I never got the rules of the earwolf forums like you but I want to do my best to only share the kinds of thoughts or opinions that you deem worthy, because I wouldn't dare to question your status as untitled moderator of the boards

    EPISODE 230 — 29 Forever?

Kulap knows whats up, XXX is by far the best flavor of Vitamin Water. Her brain fart of not understanding Howard's questioning what her favorite flavor was, however, that was frustrating

    EPISODE 348 — Is Y'all My Daddy?

So you can share your opinions but they shouldn't share theirs because its that they're tired of something/someone? and you can qualify PFT's laughter as 100% authentic because why? I have no PFT exhaustion, but I completely get where these people are coming from about the laughter. I hadn't thought about it but it is maybe getting to a level of Jimmy Fallon-ness on SNL... He once laughed at insanely funny turns and lines, but lately its like anything a guest says that is intended as a joke The point I wanted to support is that you're being a complete ass, and denying the ass that you're being by saying you support people sharing their opinions but yours is always right and theirs is stupid, pedantic, wrong, and more smarty words that I don't feel like wasting the time to write down

    EPISODE 348 — Is Y'all My Daddy?

Oh okay okay, much more reasonable claim to make then. That is a much tougher list to come up with, because I would say the misses are more memorable than the first timers who are just good enough to keep an episode from being ruined, and also Cameron has been on a few times so I really don't remember the first time. I do remember Jim Rash being an amazing first timer

    EPISODE 348 — Is Y'all My Daddy?

I disagree, how many people complained here? I saw people joking about her being an over the top lesbian character and that opening up a big fight where no one understood that the person who "started" it was joking...

    EPISODE 348 — Is Y'all My Daddy?

Top 10 of guests, seriously? She is always 'pleasant' on the show to me but I wouldn't say that I put her comedy chops on par with a top 10 at CBB, that is a very talented top 10 to crack. I guess her style is just a little different than what I like to hear on CBB the most.

    Episode 1611 - Jason Nash

Happy to hear more use of the biting cut-down "Dick fick"

EPISODE 229 — Leading Love Man

Ken is the freaking best, I have no idea why he was never able to get Hollywood clout to be a leading comedy man like they allude to on the episode. I really thought he would shoot to stardom gradually after The State as he was "the attractive one". Who would have thought it would be Tom Lennon being famous for wearing short shorts for years.

EPISODE 346 — That Is Wild

Judging by the comedy level of everything he didnt interrupt... I didnt finish yet, but I am not impressed by anyone's performance here it's like if Kanye West jumped on stage during a Jeff Dunham show you were at... Kanye might have "ruined" the show, but I'd bet it wasn't going to be very good without the interruption

EPISODE 346 — That Is Wild

Well I thought dogs came up in conversation, or even a dog dying so he chimed in. I guess he should have seen the mention of a dog coming ahead and gotten that out of the way at the top of the show like Harris apparently would have. I took it as, he was actually in a poor mental state due to his dog of 16 years dying and he wanted to take a moment to actually show himself, perhaps not knowing the tone of the show normally which I wont hate him for. I saw it as him being honest about who he is, sharing that he is hurt a little bit, and then moving along. and in his defense, I didn't think the character work he was 'interrupting' was all that great. I guess holes in your jeans, wanting to fuck scott, and having an open pussy are level-10 comedy. I didn't think anything in this episode brought it that great comedy-wise, so I'm not with everyone hating on Tom for derailing comedy, I didn't think he derailed anything that hilarious

EPISODE 346 — That Is Wild

Good god, if Harris Wittels' or Paul Rust's dog died and he took 2 minutes to be sad about it since it came up organically, this thread would be 6 pages of people wishing him well and being sad about the dog dying... Unbelievable how much the tone of the comments shifts with different guests

    Episode 1610 - Guy Branum

I havent been a NNF listener for all that long, but whenever I heard Jimmy say the name "Peter Pardini" I just assumed that was a magician character that Jimmy created, so it was nice to have that mystery solved

EPISODE 228 — Riff Raff the Rapping Dog

I dont think I've ever heard Eugene on a P-cast where I wasn't impressed, seems like a great guy beyond just being really really funny
  23. Here in the US people say I have a "type A" kinda personality, but when I go to Taipei, they say I have an "American asshole " kind of personality. So, you know, catch 22 I guess

EPISODE 227 — Movie Theater Plug Life

I am totally with you about liking hearing howard and company shitting on pop songs. That's why I didn't like this format, because the music chart didn't have many laughs that I remember. Even when it is the same 5 songs we've heard before, sometimes them beating a viewpoint into the ground is funny, or Howard comes up with a new reason why Taylor Swifts afternoon queef is more musically enjoyable than a Bruno Mars/Mark Ronson collabo

EPISODE 227 — Movie Theater Plug Life

enjoying the episode so far, but I want to voice my opinion on the changed format to any important parties that might want to get a temperature read on the chartists impression. I was not a fan of this style... I think it makes total sense to feature a guest musician's music, specifically a not hugely famous musician, but I felt like this method took away from the normal makeup of the show. My vote for how to best involve a guest's music would be to still conduct the music and movie charts as always, but during the tweet chart, play 5 of their songs under the reading of the questions and maybe have a quiet studio for a bit of each so that the listener can get a taste of the songs. I'm assuming the music chart was the same as it has been for awhile, but that would surprise me because its felt like you guys have done some foreign and genre specific charts lately to detract from attacking the same 4-5 songs week after week (Which I do think is a good idea)
