    Zoom (2006)

Pretty amazing that all the Fantastic Four movies this movie is clearly a rip off of are no goddamn better than this one in any meaningful way.

The Hand That Rocks The Cradle (1992)

Between this and that fucking awful movie she did with Antonio Banderas I really feel like this podcast is missing out on some Rebecca DeMornay gems.

    American Dreamz (2006)

Jaws 3-D made me think of another Dennis Quaid misfire. This movie is incredibly strange both in premise and execution. Theres so many weird subplots and genuinely unlikable characters.

    Stolen (2012)

Since were dipping our toes back into the Nic Cage waters, I have to recommend this both for the podcast or just a casual watch because its just delightful.

    The Musketeer (2001)

So this was an interesting concept done very poorly. A Hong Kong style martial arts movie set in the universe of The Three Musketeers. The acting, writing, and choreography are all extremely suspect which makes it pretty easy to see how this movie flopped as hard as it did.

    The Musketeer (2001)

Have to bump this really bizarre mash up of genres.

    The Master of Disguise (2002)

Thank god. Its going to be interesting to hear them discuss Dana Carvey. I loved Dana Carvey as a kid, and watched all of his movies. I even remember watching and enjoying his stand up special as well. I think the biggest mistake in his career was trying to make him a leading man. He was always infinitely better in smaller roles where he actually got to play more interesting characters. Like compare Opportunity Knocks and Clean Slate to Road to Wellville and Trapped in Paradise. Both were significantly better movies and roles for Dana Carvey. Its a fucking trip that this movie released in competition with Austin Powers.

    Sudden Death (1995)

I forget was there any kind of further explanation for his Macgyver skills other than he was a firefighter? I always remember that scene in the tunnel where he crafts that wrist shooter as making zero sense whatsoever.

    Godsend (2004)

Its some of my favorite wig work outside of Josh Lucas in Stolen whose transformation was absolutely breathtaking to behold. Best thing about Replicant to me though, is that I can almost guarantee this was pitched as a spiritual successor to Double Impact, only instead of them teaming up one of them is good and the other one is evil.

    Godsend (2004)

Replicant on the other hand is a delightful movie.

    The Loft (2014)

I saw this on one of the streaming services the other day, and I was like "Hey I like all these actors, maybe this will be fun!" But sadly it wasnt and I feel personally betrayed by everyone involved.

    The Relic (1997)

I legit loved the superstition exhibit in the film.

    Double Impact (1991)

Its pretty shameful that Double Team was covered while this gem was completely overlooked. Its all kinds of awesome. Particularly the scenes where "bad" JCVD shit talks the "good" one.

    Star Kid (1997)

As terrible and well deserving of an episode as this is, i'm going to have to respectfully insist that the first Joseph Mazzello movie they cover be the far more problematic Radio Flyer.

    Mission: Impossible 2 (2000)

That motorcycle scene at the end is so terrible it makes me angry at how many talented people risked their lives for one of the most poorly directed action scenes in blockbuster history.

    Sonic the Hedgehog (2019)

I dont know what i'm more disturbed by, Sonic's design, or the fact that they thought that Jim Carrey was a solid lookalike for Dr. Robotnik. That said I'm sure they lost their minds when they signed Jim Carrey for this obvious trainwreck so I cant fault them for casting him despite him looking nothing like Dr. Eggman. I'm also equally disturbed by the latest Aladdin trailer that showed off Will Smith in full genie form.

    One Crazy Summer (1986)

I've seen this movie probably more than a dozen times and it really is a strange one. I actually liked some of the artwork/cartoons that they did throughout the movie. But something that strikes me watching old Cusack movies is that he has negative charisma in most of his roles. To the point that it blows my fucking mind how he was the romantic lead in so many movies.

    Hollywood Homicide (2003)

Yearly bump for this strange movie. Its just so goddamn weird. Theres so many running threads throughout the movie, theres at least a dozen different plotlines that are followed and each one is more inexplicable than the next.

    Drop Dead Gorgeous (1999)

This came out to mixed reviews but I absolutely love this movie. Theres so many great moments and Allison Janney is fucking hysterical throughout.

    The Peanut Butter Solution (1985)

Ive tried explaining this movie to people before and it's never not ended with them looking at me like a fucking lunatic.

    Sibling Rivalry (1990)

A not great movie made infinitely more watchable with a pretty delightful performance from Bill Pullman. I recommend both this and Ruthless People if you want to see a young Bill Pullman stealing not just scenes but entire movies.

    Quest for Camelot (1998)

I have to say if the crew ever dips their toes into animated movies this, Rodney Dangerfield, and Rock A Doodle are all solid options.

Mom and Dad Save The World (1992)

I cant help but think that this movie is something theyre purposefully holding back for the right guest. As a fan of Discworld, I actually enjoyed this movie far more than it deserves to be enjoyed. When Eric Idle showed up I seriously thought that the movie might have been a loose adaptation of it. The world building in this movie is pretty amazing considering how fucking terrible a movie it is. The makeup and the prosthetic work on the fish and dog people is remarkably well done considering the age of the movie and what I would hope is a small budget. It's also I think worth mention that this movie also was the inspiration of one of my favorite Rick and Morty characters: Bird Person.

    Winchester (2018)

Rose Red is a significantly more fun movie based on the Winchester Mystery House.

    The Golden Child (1986)

I love this movie, that said its fucking insane and would be a wonderful episode.
