    Stay Alive (2006)

Even if they never cover this movie, I strongly recommend giving it a shot. Its a trainwreck but it was a really fun watch.

    Krippendorf's Tribe (1998)

I watched this the other day and was shocked this wasnt boycotted on release. If not for the terrible writing, the glaring racism is also fairly troubling.

    Episode 163.5 - Minisode 163.5

It took me until the end of the movie before I realized that they intentionally made Charlie Sheen's wraith outfit look like an S&M version of the aluminum monster from Its Always Sunny.

Agreed, its hard to knock some of these people when they're clearly tickling one of Paul's funny bones. That said, I think Paul would either greatly re-think, or otherwise leave them out entirely if he knew that he was grossing out a sizable portion of his listening audience on this board.

    Hollywood Homicide (2003)

If this movie doesnt get covered at some point i'm going to be overwhelmingly disappointed. Theres so much to talk about with this movie and despite how god awful it is, Harrison Ford somehow makes it watchable.

Yea its unfortunate that some dudes arent getting the fucking joke when Jason says something gross. The reason we laugh at Jason is because he clearly doesnt mean it. When you call in to tell some anecdotal story of your emergence into puberty. Its not a joke, its a fucking weird glimpse into your psyche.

The Passion of Darkly Noon (1995)

I think Ashley Judd is just naturally shiny. She has the same thing going on in Double Jeopardy too.

Those kinds of people are why we missed out on like a decade of Dave Chapelles comedy.

Episode 162 - My Stepmother Is An Alien: LIVE!

Well thats good to know, I think I was reading an article on io9, and the writer seemed to imply that it didnt do quite as well. And after checking Rotten Tomatoes not only did it do better critically, but also financially, which gives me hope in humanity.

    Ravenous (1999)

Its fucking criminal that neither this or his equally glorious performance as Sardo Numspa in the Golden Child launched him to greater acclaim here in the states.
  11. He was not only super bummed. I believe he went into full blown tears over how much the movie shattered his dreams.

Blame also has to go to Paul or whomever else decided to include that cringe-worthy shit in the mini-ep.

Was this movie one of the things that led to WWE overtaking WCW in terms of viewership or had that already happened at that point?

    The Running Man (1987)

The world depicted in this movie is infinitely less depressing than the current day reality of 2017.

    Ravenous (1999)

Last Action Hero is such a fantastic film. Charles Dance in all his glory aside, it was a pretty sharply written movie in how accurately it called out the bullshit tropes of many of the action movies released in the same era. And this is going to sound terrible, because it is. But even as a kid, I fucking hated the actor they had playing the kid in the movie. I already know how insanely unfair a statement this is, but I cant help but think the movie would have done better had they gotten someone with a bit more charisma than him.

    Biker Boyz (2003)

With the rampant success of the Fast and the Furious franchise, I thought it might be nice to take a look back at some of the movies that spawned in its wake and didnt fare quite as well. Theres so much wrong with this movie its hard to know where to start. I guess Laurence Fishbourne's wardrobe is a good jumping off point, because there are various points in the movie where I had to really ask myself if the costume designer was intentionally trying to make him look like Walker, Texas Ranger. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fl1MNRSkKhc

    Biker Boyz (2003)

I think they would make for a solid pair of live shows. Because honestly Torque is basically Fast and the Furious after they figured out that making serious movies out of this franchise was nonsensical at best. I think you could re-release Torque as a Fast and the Furious spin-off and no one would be able to tell the difference. Biker Boyz to me stands out a little more just because of how serious it tries to be while at the same being laughably terrible.

The Hand That Rocks The Cradle (1992)

I dont know, its a pretty nutty movie. The above line not withstanding, theres also Ernie Hudson's character which is, (at least to me) very iffy in terms of political correctness. Doesnt Julianne Moore also get killed by some kind Rube Goldberg mechanism involving a greenhouse as well?

Episode 162 - My Stepmother Is An Alien: LIVE!

Pacific Rim (to me at least) was a very fun movie with great action set pieces. Unfortunately it also had Charlie Hunman as a lead and he was fucking terrible in this movie. But that in no way can be singularly pinned to him. The dialogue and writing in general in the movie were horrendous. I absolutely love Del Toro though, I know this is controversial but I loved Hellboy 2 infinitely more than 1. All the creatures and the beautifully tragic world of the elves was much more interesting to me than what was a great but fairly formulaic origin story for the first movie. Just hope he eventually gets to do At the Mountains of Madness.

    Ravenous (1999)

This movie was years ahead of its time. I think were this to have been released more recently it would have been significantly better received.

    Episode 162.5 - Minisode 162.5

Ready to Rumble is so fucking strange. It acknowledges that wrestling is staged while at the same time, setting it up as life and death stakes for the wrestling matches. Also who in their right mind thought that Oliver Platt was a solid choice to play a fucking wrestler. He just looks so out of place. Running Man is such a solid choice, if you want something fun to do look at Schwarzeneggers IMDB and try reading all the characters names he's played in his accent. Gordy Brewer, Howard Langston, Jericho Cane, and Adam Gibson are all personal favorites.

Episode 162 - My Stepmother Is An Alien: LIVE!

I think more people didnt give it a chance because his first big project off SNL was that fuck awful Sandler movie.

    The 6th Day (2000)

Really hope they tackle this movie. Aside from the last act dragging on a bit too long, this movie really is a delightful watch despite some terrible writing. Michael Rooker lying about people being dead is easily my favorite part of this whole movie though.

Episode 162 - My Stepmother Is An Alien: LIVE!

I guess it just seems so bizarre to me because if the the shoe were on the other foot there's no way in hell we would ever travel to another planet and call it by whatever name they called it by. It'd be whatever nonsense name the first human who spotted it decided to call it like Polarium 13.

Episode 162 - My Stepmother Is An Alien: LIVE!

Also my theory for the fish joke was that he was saying that the rain itself smelled like fish. Which doesn't make much sense, but neither does anything else in this movie.
