  1. Just an all around weird movie, the scenes with Myers doing beat poetry are particularly painful.

Episode 157 - Surf Ninjas: LIVE!

I loved those samurai styled stormtrooper figurines that came out in the last couple years. I could never justify the amount they cost to get one, but I really liked that design.

Episode 157 - Surf Ninjas: LIVE!

Paul mentioned that Leslie Nielsen was a thinly veiled Darth Vader. I was thinking about it today and he was spot on. While Leslie Nielsen and Darth Vader both are remembered prominently they actually share a screen time of around ten minutes respectively.

    Powder (1995)

Watched this today, and this movie really is something else. I forgot how bipolar Powder was in this. He goes from menacingly threatening Mary Steenburgen to reconnecting Lance Henriksen with his comatose wife. I wont lie and say I didnt start getting all weepy at the ending though.

    Body Parts (1991)

Couldn't be happier this movie is going to get some attention. Jeff Fahey has the power to turn what could otherwise be a mediocre movie into something delightful.

Episode 157 - Surf Ninjas: LIVE!

Great episode, they pretty much covered anything I'd ask about. A few notable omissions for me though. How exactly did Colonel Chi not only survive but succeed in his invasion after getting squished by the elephant? All Uncle Eyepatch had to do is finish him off and invasion over. It's not like Nielsen would have access to a hospital on an island he invaded ten minutes previously. The invasion itself was incredibly weak sauce as well. Apparently a nation of island warriors is capable of being overthrown by what looks like a couple dozen guys. Also why we're they so eager to get back to Santa Monica after being named Kings? I thought all they gave a shit about was surfing? That island seems like a pretty solid option for them. Not too mention they dont have a fucking home to go to at the end of the movie. It's not like anything that happened to them in this movie at all benefitted them financially. So all they have to look forward to in Santa Monica is crippling debt and the potential to be arrested for murder when all thepolice who didn't join them on their adventure finds a gaggle of burnt Ninjas in either the restaurant or house.

    Shark Tale (2004)

I really hope that wouldn't preclude this from being covered. If Scotty Auks at this point in his career decided that Shark Tale was above reproach I'd be extremely disappointed.

    Powder (1995)

At least X-files generally tries to have an explanation however nonsensical as to what's happening. This movie gives you nothing save a scene in the beginning where it looks like his mom was being not struck but abducted by lightning. This movie also really suffers from casting people in their mid to late twenties playing high school age kids. When they brought him to the group home all I can remember thinking is why aren't they letting him live by himself after his grandparents passed away he definitely looks old enough to take care of himself. I did like Jeff Goldblum in this but to be fair he's pretty fantastic in everything.

    Episode 156.5 - Minisode 156.5

He was absolutely that bad in TMNT 2 he was just in far less scenes. They made him carry way too much of the movie in this.

    Chill Factor(1999)

Let's not forget his tiny role in As Good As It Gets. Which I think should have been the size of the roles he always should have gotten.

The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor (2008)

I like that they thought Jet Li was going to revitalize the franchise.

Also Surf Ninjas is ridiculous. I forgot that Tone Loc was in this, I'm already looking forward to their discussions on his terrible police work in this movie.

I was just about to look this up. I'm pretty sure hes playing high school age in this movie which is fucking crazy Doesn't he get a ride with the other two kids when they go to school in the beginning?

Episode 156 - xXx: Return of Xander Cage: LIVE!

It's pretty fucking hilarious that an executive producer of the Lego Batman movie is fifth in line for the presidency. All that aside it was a fantastic movie. The original Lego movie will always be number one, but if the sequels and spin offs stay in this ballpark of quality i'm happy.

    Episode 156.5 - Minisode 156.5

I'm profoundly disappointed that no one pointed out that they essentially had Michaelangelo from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles do the trailer. And Blake Harris wasn't wrong. F. Scott Fitzgerald has to assume a new identity every 100 years lest someone discover he's an immortal. He just isn't very clever about his aliases.

    Swiss Army Man (2016)

Before even watching the video I was all set to argue against it. But after watching its a really fascinating and very plausible breakdown of this movie. When Dano dresses up as Mary Elizabeth Winstead it really does seem to confirm his theory. It makes no sense why he would dress up as his own love interest. It would have been a significantly easier choice in terms of the writing had he dressed Manny up in the wig and dress. Lord knows those jokes would have written themselves. That being said this lovely tale of someone learning who they want to be ends with a corpse farting himself off a beach and into the open ocean like a torpedo. It's hard to know how to feel about that.

    Starship Troopers (1997)

This is an incredibly fun movie. If they do cover this movie it had better be in the vein of Face/Off or Con Air. This would make for a great episode though, although I can almost guarantee the episode would go off the rails as they attempted to decipher the football hybrid game that happens in the first 20 min of the movie.

Son in Law is easily the best Pauly Shore movie out of the group. That being said they're all garbage and Son in Law in particular has some really strange shit happen in it.

    Striking Distance (1993)

I have to bump this again. If anyone hasn't seen this movie it's entirely worth it. There's a lot of great actors in it in earlier roles ( Chris Penn, Dennis Farina etc.)

    Suburban Commando (1991)

I really think they would have had significantly more fun watching this than they did with Mr. Nanny. Christopher Lloyd and Shelley Duval make this movie far more watchable than it has a right being.

    Episode 155 - Airborne: LIVE!

I went to New Orleans in mid July a couple years ago. I'm still amazed that human beings are capable of living in that weather on a day by day basis.
