  1. He's a rich white dude in the middle of the jungle, living in a fully furnished cave complete with servants in little outfits. Exactly what needs further explication?

    The 6th Day (2000)

Kindergarten Cop is also another solid option, but for me 6th day just checks off so many boxes. Theres just so much to fucking talk about its almost staggering.

Episode 143 - Gods of Egypt

This movie should have been a video game. As a movie it's terrible. But in a video game because everything is already CGI it would have been far less jarring to see the visuals. Some of my favorite parts of the movie are the scenes that looked like they were pulled from like prince of persia or zelda. Like where BBJ is dodging the statues in fighting poses. Same goes for the Sand Snake scene which would have made far more sense as a boss battle in a video game rather than the way it was shoehorned into the movie. Also the end scene where Jaime Lannister is flying around looks like someone doing a let's play and trying to get a hang of the flying controls.

    Practical Magic (1998)

I think Practical Magic and The Craft would be a solid choice for a live show.

    Episode 142.5 - Minisode 142.5

I'm really bummed about this whole design. My favorite part of Tim Curry's Pennywise was that he seemed so innocuous, until he didnt want to be, and then he was creepy as fuck. The things Curry did with just a change of expression were fucking amazing. This one they might as well have him wearing a baby skull necklace. His outfit makes him look he's wearing a frilly skirt too. They're trying way too hard to make him look scary whilst forgetting that they don't need to because clowns are just inherently freaky, just ask Jason.

    Suicide Squad (2016)

Thats because in movies all scientists began medical school at 12.

    Episode 142.5 - Minisode 142.5

Watched God's of Egypt today. It was hilarious for all the obvious reasons, white actors playing Egyptians, terrible writing and CGI. It felt like watching the cutscene in a video game. Honestly though it wasn't worse than either of the two Percy Jackson movies which in my opinion had an equal amount of whitewashing and insane shit going on storywise. I guess what I'm saying is they need to do the Percy Jackson movies or at least the first one else because it has Pierce brosnan playing a fucking centaur.

    Mercury Rising (1998)

Although Bruce Willis really does have some shitty movies under his belt, I really hope this is the next one they cover of his.
  9. Whatever they decide to go with its not going to be 1/10th as awkward as when Elizabeth Rohm's character asked if they were firing her because she was gay on Law and Order. I cant help but feel his assault on a writer is going to guarantee said writer ensuring his character gets a thoroughly terrible ending.
  10. I loved Stranger Things, Hooper was easily one of my favorite on-screen cops in recent memory. That scene where he shrugs and then reluctantly punches out the state police trooper was pretty phenomenal. I'm glad to see Winona back and acting again, Lydia Deetz for life ya'll. The kids were all wonderfully cast they really did a good job of giving each one a real personality too. I will however echo similar sentiments in my confusion over Nancy's infatuation with Steve. Who is apparently the coolest kid in school, but only has two friends: Freckles and his super aggressive girlfriend. I think thats the one beat from 80's that just doesnt make this ring true. When I think of 80's cool guy love interests from that era I picture dudes like Brad from Teen Witch, not Jean Ralphio. This show amongst other fantastic Netflix offerings lately really are amazing to think about. If you told me ten years ago that the "Blockbuster video by mail" company would eventually be the powerhouse that it is today producing its own content of this quality, theres not a fucking chance I would have believed it.

    Suicide Squad (2016)

I really want the Wonder Woman movie to be great because it deserves to be. But yea, it doesnt have much precedence to support that.
  12. I really hope they get around to this train wreck at some point.

    Escape From L.A. (1996)

This is a terrible fucking movie. But it couldn't be more fun to wtch. There's just so much crazy shit being lobbed your way it's hard to keep up. This would be absolutely perfect movie for them to cover.

    Lightning Jack (1994)

I've seen this multiple times due to it being played ad nauseum on hbo in the 90's. I don't know if there's enough to warrant a podcast though. It's just an awful unfunny movie.

    My Father the Hero (1994)

OK. I just fully watched this whole thing. This movie could be the focus of the next ten episodes and they still wouldn't be able to fully discuss everything wrong with this movie. From the lingering shot of a young Katherine Heigl in a thong. To her describing herself as a junkie with a prostitute mother to make herself seem more attractive to a guy playing 17 years old but is easily in his twenties. Or the ending which involves him helping his 14 year old daughter land a guy she won't be able to legally date after his next birthday. I really want them to do this movie, at the same time this movie really is just fucking gross, and I could see June being legitimately bummed watching it.
  16. This episode was wonderful by the way Ed and Eliza were both fantastic throughout. One pretty significant omission is the fact that not only does Richie Aprile stay on board with Drax after he launches a spear into his brother, he also is the one who gets blasted away with the cannon later in the movie. So that means that the poor mother of these two had to find out over the course of a week, that she lost both her sons by way of spear and cannon fire respectively. Also who ever got to write those two obituaries had their work cut out for them.
  17. Haha I thought t Not only that, Vosloo was like a million times more charismatic as Imhotep than Zane was as the phantom. I do maintain that Billy pulled off a better performance as the Phantom than Baldwin in the Shadow. To be fair though the material that Alec was working with was far fucking crazier.
  18. I'll admit that I got confused and totally thought June was pregnant with baby number 2 after the introduction.

    Episode 141.5 - Minisode 141.5

This to the Nth degree. This is what Sony did with Amazing Spiderman 2 as well. They were so desperate to launch their own movie-verse they just started cramming as much shit and set up as they possibly could in a desperate attempt to quickstart it. I wonder whats going to happen with the stand alone Venom movie along with the Sinister Six movie they were planning. Especially after they finally bit the bullet and let Marvel have Spiderman. I don't think anyone can ever watch Nolan's Batman movies again and at all take them seriously after seeing Pete Holme's impression. He so amazingly captures all the goofy shit Bale somehow got away with.

Does Suicide Squad getting shit reviews mean I dont have to see another fucking article where someone on the cast talks about how dark and edgy Jared Leto was on set while being the Joker?

    Karate Dog (2005)

To be fair, whatever terrible movies we forced our mom to take us to like Man of the House, or TMNT 2. She countered with making us watch such gems like A Price Above Rubies, or Meet Joe Black.

Episode 141 - The Shadow: LIVE! (w/ Pete Davidson)

And to be fair to the upcoming Zeta Jones/Swanson fanfic, the movie did end with Swanson politely turning down the Zanes request to live on an island paradise with a beach I would kill to be relaxing on right now, so that she could fly off with the character she had the most sexual chemistry with throughout the entire movie. I think its fairly explicitly shown that Swanson was not into the purple tights and skull motif, and made the sensible decision to be with Zeta Jones, who was pretty fucking fantastic in this movie.

Episode 141 - The Shadow: LIVE! (w/ Pete Davidson)

Watched Once upon a Crime the other day and Cybill Shephard was one of my favorite performances of an otherwise terrible movie.

    Episode 141.5 - Minisode 141.5

I still cant believe they did a Russell Mulcahy movie and didnt start with Ricochet, which I can guarentee with a certainty they would have had a better time watching than The Shadow.
