Short Circuit 1 or 2...or both!
Ofcoursemyhorse replied to DartanganMcgee's topic in Bad Movie Recommendations
Is this movie how he landed Michelle Pfeiffer? -
This and Serpent and The Rainbow are two of my favorite horror movies. He really was a talent like no other.
-
At least it wasnt Clamato.
-
Statham's going to be at 5 with Fast 7. Or does his tiny appearance in Fast 6 not count?

The Last Airbender 2

Ugh. I wonder whose financing it? -
Hey guys, this movie is fucking nuts.
-
Orphan is a pretty fucked up movie that would be wonderful for a halloween episode.

Bad movie options- Buzzfeed's How Many Bad Movies Have You Seen?

I'm at 81 i'd be closer to 100 if I counted the ones I started watching but didnt finish because they annoyed me to much. -
Also the 3d representation of what that companys operating system looked like was fucking next level crazy.

Its pretty nuts they decided that putting a Jewish actor in brown face was better than casting an actual indian actor or at the very least a Cliff Curtis type of guy who can naturally pull off the part without the need for a borderline racist makeup job.

Short Circuit 1 or 2...or both!

I'm really sad that neither of these have been up to bat yet. The second one in particular is so richly deserving of it. -
I miss Fisher Stevens being in campy nonsense movies like this and Short Circuit 2.
-
I'm sure theres a Director of Photography who thought they were fucking nailing it when they came up with that shot.
-
I think Braff and Josh Radnor are having a contest over who can write/direct a movie that inflates their own ego more. Radnor is slightly ahead for writing a movie in which he lands Allison Janney, Elizabeth Olsen, and Elizabeth Reaser over the course of one movie.
-
This is easily the shittier of the two. I also think this came out when it was coming to light that Anne Heche was a fucking lunatic.

Under Siege 2: Dark Territory (1995)
Ofcoursemyhorse replied to ErikC's topic in Bad Movie Recommendations
Theres that one, plus they also do it with the army generals. "Casey Ryback is on that train?!?!?" It's the same bullshit he pulled in Glimmer man when Brian Cox gives that asinine speech on how Seagal attained the title of Glimmer Man. -
Under Siege 2: Dark Territory (1995)

This movie fits in with the tidbit about him altering scenes so he has to move as little as possible. By putting the movie on a train he basically assures he only has to move forward in a fight. Also his freight train of slaps fighting style is in full force here. The final fight between him and the gimp from the people under the stairs is stunning in its terribleness. -
Dunston Checks in is easily the more watchable of the two just because Paul Reuben and Rupert Everett are both swinging for the fences in that one.
-
Also I think the craziest thing about this movie is that Harvey Keitel is in this piece of shit. He clearly wasnt unable to get work. The movie he worked on before this was Pulp Fiction and the movie after was Get Shorty.
-
Not only have I seen this movie, I also read the novelization when I was a kid. Jesus christ, I also read the novelization of Batman Forever.
-
Yea Stigmata is more depressing and strange than it is interesting. Doesnt help that Gabby Byrnes is a fucking bummer in this movie too. He pretty clearly knew the script was shit and exerted as little effort as possible.
-
It is Commando-esque in terms of plot simplicity but I feel like this movie firmly knew it was a summer popcorn movie so I am inclined to give it a bit more leeway in that sense. I would be interested in hearing Paul, Junes and Jason's take on it regardless though.

Thomas Janes character in the Punisher wishes he could inflict the level of emotional devastation that he does to himself in The Mist.
-
Its a great movie but its a rough watch for sure. God that Punisher movie really is a weird one. The overly elaborate mind games that he plays on Travolta in that movie really are something else and so completely out of character for the Punisher. The fight with The Russian was outstanding though.
