I think these guys would be the mortal enemy of many of the forum people as they are coconut wrapped black licorice
-
That is acceptable due to lack of being in the oven and overall deliciousness.

I mean I bet it is delicious, personally I'm not a big fan of the mentaiko so I give it a pass. That ramen pizza does sound good. The weirdest ones here I can think of are dessert pizzas, which are werid to me because pizza shouldn't be a dessert. I don't care how much chocolate and berries you put on it. Sadly couldn't find a picture of one quickly. A pizza I had last week was avocado, shrimp, octopus, mayo and cherry tomatoes. That was really good as well. Now I just want pizza.

I think I'm in the weird camp hear because I love coconut, beans, carrots and pineapple pepperoni is my favourite pizza combination! Also in tomspanks comment about Japanese pizza, when I first got here I thought it was weird that everybody put corn on pizza. Now I love it. I think that's one of those signs you've been here maybe too long when you crave corn on your pizza. As far as weird combinations this is the most Japanese pizza I could think of. Mochi mentaiko! You got mayonnaise, mochi, corn, potato salad, squid, seaweed, spicy cod roe, cheese, and parsley.

Coconut is delicious! I use to love me a Bounty. Next thing you'll be saying pineapple on pizza is wrong.

As a non-American I always found the concept of Girl Scout cookies strange. Everyone seems to love them and they help raise money for the local troops, so why not just sell them year round? Or have an online service in which you can order and based off your zip code the money earned goes to your local troop? EDIT: PB and Chocolate? How can that not be the winner?

THEY WRITE LETTERS LIKE TEXTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's not like she lives at the Lake House anymore, just can't just get the letters whenever. She has to drive all the way out to get a letter that is just an incomplete sentence just to write back "No, tell me." and then wait another day! All that time and effort wasted!

Basically the show is moving from BBC to Channel 4 (kinda like the British TLC) and as a result everybody but Paul Hollywood is leaving the show.

In two years time CakeBug will make me wait another two years to finally meet despite him forgetting he met me already when I died in his arms and when I could easily meet him in a few more months any how.

In the past I avoided all the Nicholas Sparks and those type movies they've done. Seeing as the Lake House was based on a Korean film I decided to give it a chance.... I was very wrong.

Before I turn in for the night, I just want to say one more thing I liked about the movie and give some credit to Bob Fosse. There is an incredible amount of attention paid to small details through the film which I enjoyed. A good example is the fact in the song "If You Could See Her Through My Eyes" a song about a man loving a Jewish woman the MC is wearing a boater and who is the only character to wear a a boater throughout the film? Fritz who is love with a Jewish woman. As mentioned the songs parallel what's going on in the story but little details like that really impressed me.

I think this is a fascinating topic of how an artist's work changes pre and post war. Numerous artists whether it be film makers, painters, authors, etc. who went to war definitely brought back some of that pain and trauma with them and it's fascinating to be to see the changes it has on their work.
