the scene where wolverine blocks a laser blast with his claws should be proof enough that this movie needs to be discussed in detail for the curious, here it is the magic is at the 1:30 mark

i saw this on tv when i was a kid. (when i was a kid we only had 3 tv channels in my country) i was very confused by this, because all i was thinking was: why is M.A.N.T.I.S. a slave? for those who don't know...this is M.A.N.T.I.S.

the crazy thing is, outside of a porno, you never see nurses dressed like that nowadays

Here's a terrible movie i sorta remember seeing as a child (full movie): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p_KgWY_qhkY The reception article on Wikipedia is hilarious too: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sphinx_(film) Critical reception[edit] Vincent Canby of the New York Times said the film "never stops talking and never does it make a bit of sense. It's unhinged. If it were a person, and you were trying to be nice, you might say it wasn't itself." He continued, "Mr. Schaffner and Mr. Byrum have effectively demolished what could have possibly been a decently absurd archeological-adventure film. The locations . . . are so badly and tackily used that the movie could have been shot more economically in Queens . . . The performers are terrible, none more so than Mr. Langella, who is supposed to be mysterious and romantic but behaves with all of the charm of a room clerk at the Nile Hilton." In conclusion, he called the film "total, absolute, utter confusion." [1]

i'm so glad that tom jane wasn't chosen despite his loving the character and wanting to play it he'd make a good jonah hex and one day can still have a shot

i'm shocked that this movie hasn't gotten discussed on the show yet. this was utter crap this dialogue is terrible, they're not even trying...

This may be a good movie, but I think it qualifies as next level bonkers. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G3SA33lUKEM alot of well known actors: Stephen Lang, Luis Guzman, Delroy Lindo to name a few, and the serial killer's gun is INSANE! Plus we got epic dialogue like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I6dSP9e2fO0

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie (1995)
Darian replied to Darian's topic in Bad Movie Recommendations
what's mystifying is that the methodology of utilizing the japanese footage to make an american show is still in practice to this day! all the power rangers tv series have been from that same mold for 20 years, it's mind blowing -
in anycase, both destroyer and red sonja were both balls this is funny though: http://entertainment.ca.msn.com/movies/galleries/actors-who-hate-their-own-films?page=18 "It's the worst film I have ever made. When my kids get out of line, they're sent to their rooms and forced to watch Red Sonja 10 times. I never had too much trouble with them."

my take is, that the 2011 Conan had alot of potential, but had a terrible story i loved the 1982 Conan, even though it takes alot of liberties with the mythology, it's a really solid movie Conan the Destroyer was just utter balls though

seriously, in light of the Gymkata episode, I need to hear them discuss Gun Kata: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BHJAuLmJgvA

Cage is one of the bravest actors out there. Sure he makes choices ripe for this podcast, and I am not complaining in any way about that, those are hilarious... but he's a serious talent, fearless and he never sleepwalks in his roles. Case in point, Kick Ass was awesome and Big Daddy was so fucking memorable in it
