  1. The discussion of Jodorowski's Dune and the idea of a tremendous cinematic undertaking that simply doesn't happen reminds me of the mid-90s Superman Lives fiasco (because I'm a huge nerd), and the effort to make a documentary about that:

But anyway, Faraci sounds super-cool, and now I'm gonna have to check out his stuff. And apparently Jodorowski's Dune is coming to Pittsburgh, so I have to find a way to get out there for it.

  2. I wrote a bunch of awful punny podcast names at work, so you can enjoy them.

    *ahem*

  3. Okay, here's what I got...

"Pist Off" - Nick Offerman shares his opinion of the Sex Pistols' discography

Inspired by today's episode "Case Freely" - Casey Wilson ignores and occasionally accidentally turns off the music from Ace Frehley's solo career

"In Living Colour" - Damon and Keenan Ivory Wayans discuss the band that wrote the hit song "Cult of Personality"

And finally, "Faith...No Mohr", where Matt Besser delivers a detailed analysis of Mike Patton's former band, while refusing to let Jay Mohr into the building

  5. Just wanted to say, a few years back I picked up this supercheap DVD pack:

    http://www.amazon.com/Gore-And-More-Movie-Pack/dp/B000AOEQ38/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1397777974&sr=8-1&keywords=gore+and+more

And it featured both Driller Killer and Night Train to Terror. So yeah, needless to say, I enjoyed the hell out of this episode.

I'm actually the kind of nerd that prefers Night Train over Driller Killer. Night Train stars Richard Moll, who was Bull on Night Court!

  6. I have the Batman Forever soundtrack on cassette tape. It's currently in the glovebox of my car.

I had a cassette of the single (the casingle, if you will) of "Hold Me Thrill Me Kiss Me Kill Me", and the b-side was "Theme from Batman Forever" by Elliott Goldenthal. And I would listen to those two tracks repeatedly, I loved them so much. This was a year and a half ago.

This episode of 2 Dudes Talkin' 'Bout 2 is my favorite, because it gave me what I've longed for since I first heard/read about the premise of this podcast: an in-depth discussion of the Joel Schumacher Batman films and their respective soundtracks. So much love for this episode, Scotts. Thank you.
