Everybody Blurts (out dumb jokes)

Watch Zach Woods on Silicon Valley on HBO!
What about Playing House on USA?

One of my favorite Hot Pocketman quotes: "Hey Flood, save it for the Noah movie."
That's a good burn...that U2 said.
-
I really hope these 2 bros continue talkin' 'bout music after this 2 podcast wraps up. I will never get tired of the Scotts (who are often tired when they do these).

I loved the line "Brian Eno, shower us with your grimaces."
Â
And I hurt myself laughing at the Epic Movie/9-11 victims bit.

Look at the moon, look at the stars, look all around you. You're on Earth.
Â
Who can explain why a banana fits perfectly in a human hand?
I cracked up so hard it hurt for the first one, and the question (without the answer) on the second one. This was amazing!

I don't know who would host it, but I would genuinely love a weekly Meat Loaf podcast, titled "Chat Out of Hell."
-
A friend of mine cut together a 13 minute *ahem* "highlight reel" for Alien Beasts, a 1991 shot-on-video horror/sci-fi movie. Please, watch the entire thing:
-
The discussion of Jodorowski's Dune and the idea of a tremendous cinematic undertaking that simply doesn't happen reminds me of the mid-90s Superman Lives fiasco (because I'm a huge nerd), and the effort to make a documentary about that:
Â
Â
But anyway, Faraci sounds super-cool, and now I'm gonna have to check out his stuff. And apparently Jodorowski's Dune is coming to Pittsburgh, so I have to find a way to get out there for it.

I loved the cocaine scene. "I don't appreciate you pushing your hands into my chest 15 times and then breathing into my mouth."
Â
I also loved all the other scenes. All-star lineup for this one.
-
I wrote a bunch of awful punny podcast names at work, so you can enjoy them.
Â
*ahem*

Okay, here's what I got...
Â
"Pist Off" - Nick Offerman shares his opinion of the Sex Pistols' discography
Â
Inspired by today's episode "Case Freely" - Casey Wilson ignores and occasionally accidentally turns off the music from Ace Frehley's solo career
Â
"In Living Colour" - Damon and Keenan Ivory Wayans discuss the band that wrote the hit song "Cult of Personality"
Â
And finally, "Faith...No Mohr", where Matt Besser delivers a detailed analysis of Mike Patton's former band, while refusing to let Jay Mohr into the building

I get the feeling like there was a time in PFT's life where he had heard of U2, but was not overly familiar with their music. Am I off base with that?
Â
Absolutely hilarious. I also loved what amounted to the pilot for Staind Glass (minus Todd Glass).
Â
And I don't know why, but I had a big ol' laugh at Scott saying "Mocking Docu of a Mentary?!"

Also on my Tumblr here.
I'm so bummed I can only like this once, that I'm going to quote it and then like my own post, just because I love it so much.

This episode was everything I wanted it to be. I can't even think of a highlight - every scene was great.
Can't remember the exact wording but "Why do I have to touch this package with my dick?" during the Trojan Goat scene was phenomenal.

For some reason, it feels weird to me that I've never heard Jon Benjamin on an Earwolf podcast. I'm a big fan of his work. Any chance of him showing up?

Is it crazy that I like Jessica Harper's version of Janet in Shock Treatment better than Susan Sarandon in Rocky Horror? Perhaps they shouldn't even be compared, but Jessica Harper was REALLY good in Shock Treatment.
I'm a big fan of Jessica's work in Suspiria and Phantom of the Paradise. So I'm not surprised to read she did well in that picture.
-
My local Big Lots store had copies of Shock Treatments on DVD just a couple of months ago for 3 bucks. I'm kicking myself now for not getting one.
-
Just wanted to say, a few years back I picked up this supercheap DVD pack:
Â
Â
And it featured both Driller Killer and Night Train to Terror. So yeah, needless to say, I enjoyed the hell out of this episode.
Â
I'm actually the kind of nerd that prefers Night Train over Driller Killer. Night Train stars Richard Moll, who was Bull on Night Court!
-
I have the Batman Forever soundtrack on cassette tape. It's currently in the glovebox of my car.
Â
I had a cassette of the single (the casingle, if you will) of "Hold Me Thrill Me Kiss Me Kill Me", and the b-side was "Theme from Batman Forever" by Elliott Goldenthal. And I would listen to those two tracks repeatedly, I loved them so much. This was a year and a half ago.
Â
This episode of 2 Dudes Talkin' 'Bout 2 is my favorite, because it gave me what I've longed for since I first heard/read about the premise of this podcast: an in-depth discussion of the Joel Schumacher Batman films and their respective soundtracks. So much love for this episode, Scotts. Thank you.

Yeah, this episode was great, but the time flew by. I would've happily listened for another half hour, at least.
Â
I'll second Greggy's suggestion to bring back Todd Glass! Dude is hilarious, and I loved the rasta banana scene.
-
Maybe I'm too in the wrestling bubble, but it seems weird to me that someone doesn't know who Sensational Sherri is (the girl in the cowgirl outfit from the shouty clip Paul played). *shrug*
Episode 85.5 — Minisode 85.5
in How Did This Get Made?

Hey Paul, Salem is on WGN, not Syfy. It's also pretty damn great. So, uh...there.
Â
I've only ever seen Ernest Goes to Africa, which came well after the Ernest flicks stopped getting theatrical distribution. And it was also terrible.
