    Episode 81 — Mortal Kombat

That one has the advantage of having Liu Kang as the Miagi, its dreadfully boring to watch without the Quiptracks riff for me though. If we're talking interesting to watch completely stupid fighting video game movies full of stupid bonkers idiocy, I think DOA: Dead or Alive wins. (I think it at least easily ties Mortal Kombat: Annihilation.)

    Episode 81 — Mortal Kombat

He goes to the dock with a bunch of them (there's a big pile of them as he limo drives away, those are all his), he's basically hemorrhaging suitcases the whole movie. Liu only throws one of them.

    Episode 81 — Mortal Kombat

Also, on Johnny Cage's career post-tournament, basically the sequel picks up immediately after, and he turns into bobo Scott Wolf and gets murdered within 30 seconds.

    Episode 81 — Mortal Kombat

correction on the Ending with children: that was back at the "Temple of Light" where Liu Kang is from, not on the island, which means they got back on the magic boat off the island, back to the scummy dock in Hong Kong, then over to that temple in China and THEN reunited with Raiden, and in the meantime Sonya has not changed out of her prisoner dress.

This movie does not know wtf "flawless victory" means.

The rifftrax I watched for this made that joke too lol.

    Episode 80.5 — Minisode 80.5

I use it to watch some HDTGM movies. Like the Burlesque/After Earth/Back up Plan/Gigli level movies. Gets them out of the way quicker without missing anything like you would with fast forwarding.

    Episode 80.5 — Minisode 80.5

Hope I watched the right version:
  10. I really wonder, why did they give Deadpool those crappy arm blades? Firstly, they would be too long that while not out they wouldn't let his arms bend, and also because the action is so completely different then using swords, his skills as a swordsman are useless with them. But also...cg wise, why waste the money? Just give him swords, spend the extra computer power you saved on making wolverines claws look at least better than the 90s cartoon's wolverine.
  11. I think if you're perfectly willing to rip a baby out of your wife with your bare hands...you don't need a magical cave to rid you of your conscience. I think the first Street Fighter movie is vastly superior to this, however in this one at least some fighting does take place in the streets, and this one has a very good rifftrax for it http://www.theootl.com/zc/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1&products_id=42&zenid=8heildhsa64bqd9ji4aaee1595 so at least it has that going for it.

CobraLALALALALALALALALALALALALALALALALALALALALALALALALALALALALA It makes sense that Duke didn't die...all that happened was a snake was thrown at him, snakes aren't known to be that sharp... OneWallCinema has a good iriff for this, I've watched it a few times now, http://www.rifftrax.com/iriffs/onewallcinema/onewallcinema-gi-joe-movie-1987

    Episode 79.5 — Minisode 79.5

just random notes i took while watching this. music over phone guy, ‘we gotta sign these guys’ bttf style location: backlottia why is the stupid kid getting a save the cat moment? worstest flirting ever, almost as bad as their family banter so?…so why do they keep padding out dialog with pointless “so?”’s is any interaction with other people these people engage in not involve being constantly wryly amused? they have a vacation cabin, big house, and only 1 shitty car. this place must have had snowpocalypse blizzard level snowfall, and they still always have school. snowman building is best done at like 9:30pm why does the kid have a bust of batman dressed as superman on his nightstand? yeah, a kids movie really needs a shot of a snowman looking for his dick. he wont talk to his wife but he’ll try and strike up a conversation with the rage filled hockey coach? hes acclimated to snowman powers almost as fast as sandman did in spiderman 3. EXXXTREEEEMMEEEE BULLYING!!!!!!!!! EXXXTREEEEMMEEEE-ly bad green screen work. are these people all witches from oz? why do snowball fights have such high stakes to them? also, conversely to Leprechaun and the like, instead of “nice costume” these people’s first reaction to Jack Frost is “OMG animated demonic snowman!’” “i always call you charlie boy”, ok, I’m obviously not paying attention all that much, but did he ever do that in the movie up to this point? he fixed the sink? how? he barely has hands. im sure the ‘ding dong burgers’ ad from Mr Show would be perfectly appropriate for a kids movie, not any worse then anything else in this, they borrowed the weatherman from them anyway. its a good thing hockey equipment is naturally occurring. sure was great that he taught charlie that special shot, its obviously so good because all he’s managed to do is hit the goalie…the point is to get the puck around them good thing they found a truck which is going nonstop to the mountains directly near their vacation cabin. So he’s been clutching the harmonica in his snow ass the whole time? why does his real face look faker than his snow face? totally worth all the hassle and worry to take him to the mountains so he can just die there instead of melting in town…why not just have that scene as he’s melting?

    Episode 48 — Sleepaway Camp

Its not "the doctor is coming", its "we have to go meet the doc" (because his watchless wrist he's tapping says its almost 4:30, implying a scheduled visit, not an emergency situation)

    Episode 78.5 — Minisode 78.5

Super ultra flat exposition, I dont think it could be any less expositiony. Its almost written like it was supposed to be a rousing speech, to get deep insight into his emotional commitment to the whole stupid christmas thing...but the person who wrote it never heard of emotions, and Broderick didn't care enough to add any (or was stopped from doing so, troll 2 style). So far my vibe from how this movie is going (also just in the first 5 minutes or so) is that the writer never heard anybody have a conversation with another living person before making this movie.

    The Running Man (1987)

What happened to Captain Freedom, he did his little fake ahnald kill, and then...what? Went home? Dont think you see him again for the rest of the movie, hes not there when they storm the studio. And before when he's all kitted out like a 'stalker' he has a bunch of useless crap stuck to his costume...why? Of all the stupid lame gimmicks they have for the other stalkers, what was his supposed to be? "Ladies and gentlemen, Captain Freedom is coming out of retirement to hunt down this menace...but was attacked by a cybernetic cheese grater which fused with him, now using its powers he has evolved into Grater Captain Freedom! Lets hope he doesn't ever need to move his arms folks, because they dont work, but at least his armor is incredibly flimsy." And again with storming the studio, at the end, when Arnold kills Killian, Arnold busts in with like 20 guys and holding a big ass gun, but Killian goes from terrified bargaining to acting extra smug like he has the upper hand whenever steroidy-Jonathan Frakes comes in, alone and unarmed. Is he fucking bulletproof? Why was that one guy supposed to be such a big deal? After Frakes lets Killian know that hes gonna huskatusk some steroids and leaves, Killian is back to bargaining. Also, should say, I've watched this like 20 times in the couple years because Blame Society Production (who does Chad Vader) has a really good rifftrax available for this - http://www.rifftrax.com/rifftrax-presents/running-man

    HDTGM All-Stars

I'm just kinda browsing the IMDB pages of people in Deck the Halls to see if anyone else came up in other movies, and so far I've looked through 3 people's profiles and all 3 have been in 'The L Word.' Also Nicola Peltz was Katara in Last Airbender, and Mckenzie in Deck the Halls. Fred Armisen (Gustave) was the voice of Brainy Smurf And Gillian Vigman who played Gerta was 'misc reporter' in All About Steve (not sure if that counts enough to end up in the all star list)

    Also just re-watched his, and something I forgot about is the great outfits. Like Mimi's shirt which says Mimi on it (gee, where have we seen something like that before?) The guy's murderhobo-chiq outfit he changes into whenever driving. And also their skanky outfits at the karaoke bar, and how she felt the best thing to wear when auditioning for some record company (or some contest, or something) was something she borrowed from Card Captors;

Also he's apparently the only person ever to drink beer out of a blue bottle, and they couldn't trust that him being a rapist is enough to make his character hateable, so they have to make sure when Kit gets there he's cheating on her blatantly too. Also they're 18 and she's in a long term long distance relationship and is going to be marrying this guy who over the phone isn't exactly seeming gung-ho on the idea, or that they know or care about each other at all...and we're supposed to be sad it doesn't work out for her? Any chance for special guest Chris Crocker?

Where to find out what movie is next?

Paul announces the movie in the mini episodes the week before the show. Also I've seen they announce them on Facebook and the like, but since I only occasionally check it I don't know if that's before the episode or not.

    Mosquito (1995)

Just kinda reminded me of this: What I like about that scene is just how much you can tell they care about each other, the way they stood by with a bunch of guns while the mosquitoes just slowly killed that guy. You can tell how conflicted they are on the inside, to either use his death as a distraction and save themselves, or to actually step in and risk their lives to help, and how they decided on the compromise of just standing there blandly yelling.
