If I had to choose between The Godfather and The Godfather II, I would pick neither. Instead, I choose The Godfather Saga. It has everything I like about Godfather and Godfather II.

I love that there is a progression in the story behind these Andy Daly characters. They all had the potential of fizzling out into one-note jokes, but thanks to Mantzoukas, I think this whole idea of good vs. evil could easily open it up for more Daly characters on CBB as well as a 2nd round of Andy Daly Podcast Pilot Projects. Maybe even a scripted podcast where Andy does several characters together.

Its funny to read these angry comments from 3 years ago about Crank 2. I loved the original Crank when it came out. I didn't even see Crank 2 until a month or two ago when I caught on to this podcast. But one of the things that I love about HDTGM is that they occasionally drop in some insane movies that are actually fun to watch. Like Fast and Furious 5 & 6... if I hadn't planned to listen to this podcast after watching them, I never would have taken the time to watch Fast 5 and Fast 6. Sometimes we forget how entertaining a well-done, pushing-the-limits action film can be. Hollywood puts out a lot of action movies, and unless we sit down and take the time to watch a few of them, then we might end up overlooking some really great entertainment. And entertainment that ISN'T just another blockbuster comic book superhero movie.

I subscribed to the Players Club yesterday. Trying it out for 6 months. Pretty great so far. Its got me thinking that I should throw a few bones over to Earwolf, seeing as how I'm getting at least 5 hours of free entertainment every week.

Yes! And when he says "Can you fly, Bobby?" then throws Bobby out of the van. I hope they do Robocop 3. Its a good excuse to watch it.

This isn't a bad movie. Its a parody of bad kung fu movies.

How about that callback to the Werner Herzog "two thumbs and not much else?" It made me grin. And of course, Andy Daly suicide, lol. I wonder if Jason Mantzoukas will show up in a later episode. Maybe in the Don Dimello podcast.

One is good. Two is less good. Three has a different actor as Robocop, so what's the point?

A) Who watches the VMA's anymore? I'm 29 and I haven't watched the VMA's since high school. Was it just me, or did anyone find it funny that they were talking about Reggie Watts, and Howard's hoarse voice made him sound kinda like Reggie Watts?

There's so many bad movies on Netflix but you pick a shitty movie that will cost 10 bucks? And what about all those shitty movies that are fully uploaded to Youtube?! That should say something. They're so bad that the studios won't even make an effort to claim ownership!!
