PFT pulling double duty like a champ!!!!
-
I wanna take Twaci Weawden to pwom. Or just go eat lunch with Lauren Lapkus while she talks in that voice. Gotta love PFT chiming in as JW with a "Ohhhhh, that sounds like a classic Would You Rather blunder", reminiscent of when the Ghost of Richard Harrow took control of Would You Rather.

Unlock the gate so Marc Maron can go out and take a poop before he POW!!! shits his pants.

Let's do this. -
Key and Peele need to come back on the show!!! And if I had my way, they'd be in character with Mantzoukas co-hosting.

The best part of the whole movie is the battle of the bands at the end, and the all-star line-up of musicians in the Louisiana Gator Boys band. Just to name a few--BB King, Eric Clapton, Isaac Hayes, Billy Preston, Dr. John, Lou Rawls, Bo Diddley, Clarence Clemons, Jon Faddis, Joshua Redman, Grover Washington Jr. Travis Tritt, Jimmie Vaughan, etc... Plus, all the cameos throughout the movie--Aretha Franklin, James Brown, Wilson Pickett, Jonny Lang.... if you're really into blues/jazz/R&B music, then its worth watching just to see all those great musicians. Other than, its a completely forgettable movie.

Howard hasn't seen High Fidelity? They count down Top 5's through the whole movie!!!!

Episode 1403 - John Ross Bowie
HotSaucerman replied to JulyDiaz's topic in Never Not Funny: The Jimmy Pardo Podcast
No. Jimmy Pardo doesn't get that Scott Aukerman is not being serious. -
Hey Steve-O.... save it for WTF. Not even you could get in more words than Maron. I heard the Music chart theme some time ago.... have yet to hear number 5. Switching it off.

Bad Ass sucks. Its kinda funny in parts. Fun to see old man beating up punks, but overall, its just not a very good movie. And the "romance" with the neighbor girl is just gross and unnecessary. Danny Trejo is cool, but he's probably only been in 3-4 decent movies--thanks to Robert Rodriguez. So, how did this get made? Because people like Danny Trejo.

No Chupacabra tag at the end?? -
For my money, "Bloodsport" and "Kickboxer" are the only two Van Damme movies that are worth a Van Damme.
-
I hated this movie. But the funniest part to me, was the foot switchblade guy when he jumped out of his shoes and kicked them at Van Damme. That's like some shit I would've done to my little brother when we were kids. And then there was the persistence in that tiger. He seemed like he was pissed that Van Damme was running away. Further proof that he's in cahoots with Mickey Rourke.

I only drink Dr. Pepper because I want to be a Pepper, man.

Totally agree about this one. Tone Loc is in it. Plus, the kid goes on a date with a grown woman and she seems like she's into him.

June trying to pronounce "Sobieski".

So much stifled laughter from PFT!!! I love it. "Do what you want to do. In living color." -
Best part of the movie? Jeff Healey's badass guitar playing.
-
Deer Penis Powder... Three Penis Wine... Taco...? Coincidence?

They're way off on Radiohead. OK Computer is easily one of the best albums of all time.

"Aint nuthin but a Bang Bang thang baaay-buh!!!"--there it is. My submission. And its true. It most definitely parodies the song by Doctor Dre. -
One thing that I burst out laughing at in this episode was when Paul said the line "why would I want a Turboman doll when I have the real thing at home?" and June just says "credits."

This movie was cool as shit when I was 11 years old. Certainly not perfect, but I loved the game and this was an entertaining romp for kids of my generation.
