Much love, Armen. We all loved Harris (he was absolutely one of my favorite comics), and I've been missing him a lot, even though I only knew his work. Thanks for giving us this opportunity to hear you work through your grief, which has helped me with mine. Also, you should do more podcasts, buddy. Be a guest. Get more comfortable with the format. And again, thanks. All my/our support.

Oh, man, all my love to Timothy Simons. He's the exact opposite of Jonah. So great. -

For the record, updating to iOS 8.3 fixed all of my problems. All of them. -

Scott sounded like he was having such a good time during this one. Great vibes. Campbell's Time Keeper is the best thing. What a delight. -
Funny, because I had the exact opposite opinion while listening! It felt to me like in order to play up his affinity with the awesome Mr. Sherwin, he was willing to distance himself from Kulap. Maybe I'm just actually overprotective of Ku. Though I know (or pray) all is well in the house of Whooch!

For what it's worth, I'm so, so happy that Paul F. Tompkins is just as involved with the podcast as ever, even with all his other ventures (and his recent weekly podcast!). I don't always check who's on an episode before I listen to it on Monday, and it always gets me excited to hear his off-mic laughter before he's introduced.

This is a forum about ketchup, though.

This was a lot of fun. The Stillwater-Esposito story feels awesome and fresh. Everything clicked for me on this one. Everyone coming together to come up with things that bees do was so beautiful. Gourley is fast becoming one of my favorite people.

The call segment on "the Japan Dogs" is one of the entire-show highlights for me.

There were a handful of references/jokes (the tortured, associational ones Scott excels at--and I love hearing that satisfied, almost nervous vibe in Scott's voice when he does them) that didn't seem to even register with Kevin and were totally destroying me. Awesome times.

I wouldn't describe this as a revelatory experience, and perhaps it had a few rough patches, but I had fun with this episode. I really enjoyed Tom Green's interview segment. The three guests didn't seem to get as perfectly in sync as some CBB classics, but not every episode can be transcendentally perfect. It might be exhausting if it was. I still laughed out loud a few times.

I'm still running 8.0. I'll update to 8.3 and see if that helps. And yes, the purple button just refuses to acknowledge my taps. -

Weirdly, I had trouble downloading the Monday CBB episode last week on my iPhone app. Frustrated, I unsubscribed and tried resubscribing. Somehow, the podcasts app won't let me subscribe. I can download the new episodes when I search for them on the app, but I can't subscribe to CBB. When I try to look at the feed, too, it only shows what I've downloaded/the newest one. Not sure if this is just me or not, but considering there are these other problems, I thought I'd check. -
I've always enjoyed Jerry Minor when I've seen him in things, but his Hooray Show appearances are making me a Jerry Minor fan. Loving this show.

This episode was just pure fun start to finish. I laughed a lot. Out loud. In public. I love that Small's not only become much more of a regular, but becomes one of the performers Scott actively tries to throw off balance in his improv.

Oh, man, if Kulap ever takes some time off, I would love to have PFT guest host with Howard for a couple weeks. I'd love to see him repeatedly up against Howie's various rants.

Austin, Texas? More like Ostentatious!

I will never get tired of Adomian's amazing parody of heterosexual men. Wish Tig was on the show more often! I love how she and Scott get along.

Don't know where else to put this, but Don't Stop or We'll Die satisfies me--if not more than any other band--in a way no other band's music does. I can't explain its appeal to people who don't get it. But there's something about their absolute sincerity juxtaposed with the nonsense and escalating bits (not leading to punchlines) of their lyrics. Their musical excellence and fundamental, psuedo-juvenile weirdness. Rough and extraordinarily polished simultaneously, both in their performance and their thematic content. Conviction and absurdity. Obviously, a lot of that just describes the comedic and writing personalities of the three members. Anyway, this episode is just about my favorite 75 minutes of hang out podcast comedy party time. Can't get enough. Love you, Harris.

EPISODE 223 — Chappie: The Oliver Twist Story

Really fun ep. Ocean vs. Space is completely collapsing into the anti-make-'em-up movement. -
What's your All-star CBB guest line up look like, bro?
A New Duck replied to denimgremlin's topic in Comedy Bang Bang
So hard to choose. My actual dream team might just be the Farts & Pro crew. Or even a Solo Holo with Harris. But if I had to design a show along traditional CBB nonsense lines, Gino, Traci Reardon, Tom Leykis. -
Incredible. Everyone sounded like they were having a great time, just hanging out, and they were totally on point. At the top of their game. The sudden introduction of PFT's Santa is the stuff of CBB legend. Can't believe how much mileage LL gets out of ?Ho-ho. New all-time fave, I'm sure.
