holy wow today's my birthday and horatio and benny are two of my favorite guests together. perfect present. anytime horatio does his aaron neville character or even mentions him, I end up listening to tell it like it is on repeat for a good 20 minutes.

I was actually on my way to the hospital to visit an aunt who is more like my mother. She is a victim of sexual abuse as a child and now has insurmountable addiction problems. I still enjoyed the episode because the situation has gotten so dark I realize the cathartic place of comedy but yes, a warning would have been nice as it was more of a time and place issue. Just to be clear I wasn't the original person you were responding to. I thought from your post you were just looking for suggestions/open to ideas from anyone. I didn't insult anything about your guests/tastes/friends. Just some ideas!

You can put whatever music you want on your podcast but since you mention your punk inclinations in multiple episodes you might try bands from these different labels - sacred bones, hardly art or what's your rupture. support real music!
