    Episode 144 - Stealth

I know Ryan Reynolds actually did the same kind of prank when Blake Lively was in labor. I can't for the life of me remember what song it was but he told this story on Seth Meyers while promoting Deadpool and said that she just looked over at him and said, "Are you fucking kidding me right now." EDIT: Simple google search tells me it was "Let's Get It On"

Episode 6 - Tracy Clayton: Hamilton Privilege

I am a fan of Phantom but holy moly I am not a fan of Mamma Mia. Even though I totally love ABBA I think that musical is just so lame.

I also would like to give my condolences to June, Paul, and their entire family. I am also a member of the Dead Dad Club and I know how hard this is. There's nothing to ever say to someone during these times to ever make the pain suddenly disappear, but it does get easier. We love you June! Also shout out to Amy the Gorilla. I know she lost her mother earlier this year and she hasn't been active in a while so I want to extend well wishes out into the ether for her as well.

    Episode 144 - Stealth

Listening to Jonah Raydio and having them consistently shit on Incubus has given me the ability to laugh at all of it, and Jason's comments were accurate and hilarious lol. Cause let's be real here, Incubus would not be my first choice in the year 2016 when you have access to all of the music ever made across the world. Hamilton and Lemonade exist right now for fuck's sake lol. I think we should replace all of the music and every time EDI doesn't listen to orders you hear Beyoncé singing "Middle fingers up / Put 'em hands out / Wave em in his face / Tell him 'BOY BYE!'"

    Episode 144 - Stealth

The last time I saw Incubus live was 3 years ago and they had just about sold out the large amphitheater down here. I think people are still very much into the music that made them popular in the late 90s but in my opinion their last good album was actually released a year after this movie. Since then they've done a "best of" album that included a ton of art done by Brandon Boyd, a new single which is fantastic, and a Prince cover that is also fantastic. However after that they released a new album that is so meh I think non-fans would point to that as the main reason they can be considered a shit band. Ugh it was not great and yet I still bought it like the completist I am. ANYWAY, my point is I think the nostalgia of 4 great albums from 99-06 is what keeps the fans. Now I think they focus solely on art, cause I just saw that Brandon Boyd had a gallery show in LA over the summer. He's actually an amazingly talented painter. My goodness I am ashamed at how much I still know about them...

Yay I have Incubus friends! Personally, Miss You is my favorite song. Also I do a pretty damn good cover of Pardon Me that I wish I had recorded when I was still with my college boyfriend cause he was my guitar guy lol. Make a Move is genuinely not a great song and it sounds like they wrote a melody around some lyrics that were handed to them by the movie studio.

    Episode 144 - Stealth

I mentioned in the music thread that I love Incubus unironically, but honestly, I can't defend that love. In 2005 they were my favorite band. In 2016 they are not my favorite band despite having a special place in my heart. Although "Morning View" is maybe one of the few albums that I revisit on a weekly basis.

    X-Men: Age of Apocalypse (2016)

Yes and no. I don't think her title of "Captain Marvel" should be tied to him. It certainly isn't in the comics. I think they're bracing the audience for a passing the baton on to Bucky. It could also be passed to Sam considering he has the title in the comics currently, but Bucky did get it first.

    X-Men: Age of Apocalypse (2016)

My thoughts were that the end of Civil War hints at a lead into Secret Avengers which would be a cool thing to do (and would be a great way to re-introduce Coulson back into the movies).

    X-Men: Age of Apocalypse (2016)

Infinity Crusade was exactly what I was thinking. According to Marvel it's still currently just "Untitled Avengers Film" lol. But also according to the Russos Infinity War won't end on a cliffhanger and they will both be considered stand alone films. So idk I just want more information because I'm greedy but I also want it to be done correctly, especially since I'm with you on characters dying.

    X-Men: Age of Apocalypse (2016)

Oh this was a false report! They're just not naming it "part 1" & "part 2." So it'll still be the same story line split into two movies but they'll just title the second movie something different.

    X-Men: Age of Apocalypse (2016)

Personally, despite how much I loved Civil War, I still think it happened too early within the timeline of the MCU. But I completely agree with Ryan that they did the story perfectly with how the MCU is set up. I just wanted more depth to the Tony & Steve friendship that I feel like had been lacking in the previous movies.

    X-Men: Age of Apocalypse (2016)

Yes that was only one of the many issues about this movie, another one of them being how long they sat on the image of them staring at each other. In an already slow as fuck movie we didn't need what felt like a full 5 minutes of just two actors staring at each other in an uncomfortable fashion. To me it's not just the actors. Yes the fact that there is an implied romantic tension between a 47 year old and a 20 year old is uncomfortable in and of itself, but Jean Grey is a minor in this movie. Their relationship in the comics has always had tension and was on and off again, but introducing that into the movie-verse right at this very moment seems sketchy as fuck. At least in the original trilogy they met when Jean was an adult.

    X-Men: Age of Apocalypse (2016)

This so hard. I agree with everything you wrote but this so damn hard. I was so excited when she got the part because I loved her so much in Winter's Bone and then she got Hunger Games and I basically was the biggest fangirl of all time, but then as she got more popular and got better movies (arguable since Joy was awful) it seemed like everything started pulling her away from this franchise. I don't want to put blame on her though, because I still think she's acting exactly the what Singer wants her to for some reason, like for 20 years Mystique keeps going back and forth between uncaring and caring too much. That's bound to fuck with anyone's character development and acting style. And we know she can stick with a franchise because I loved her as Katniss until the very end. She never once phoned that in imho. I think she understood how boring this was going to be, and how dumb Singer was. Plus she had already announced she was donezo with the X-Men movies, which they really could have done a better job of introducing the new class to take the baton. Where the fuck was Jubilee!? Like seriously where the fuck was Jubilee during that entire fight. Also the introducing Wolverine to Jean made me very uncomfortable knowing their history together. Do not care for that part at all.

    X-Men: Age of Apocalypse (2016)

I've never seen someone get so angry about construction and architecture and I absolutely love it. I think I originally gave this a pass since I saw it right after Civil War and gave it a 3/5 but here's the thing - I was incredibly bored during it and I was high. If a comic book movie bores you and you're already impaired in a way where things are usually better then this is not a good movie. I think I feel about it the exact same way as I do the DC movies from this year, but I also didn't hate them with the passion of a thousand burning suns like a lot of people did. I think the thing that bothers me the most about the new X-Men movies is the crazy time jumps between each one where no one is aging and the only one with an explanation is Mystique.

    Episode 143.5 - Minisode 143.5

Damn dude y'all seriously knocked out a ton! I actually didn't see as many as I usually do, but I did catch up on a couple of shows and started writing more than I have in the last few months. Plus editing photos because I got a couple of more weddings shot during this time. So basically I got a lot more done than I thought just not movie wise... But! I saw these movies since the last episode aired - Don't Breathe, Immoral Tales, Hell or High Water, Tremors, Matilda, and Sky
  24. Ugh I love her so much!

Josh Lucas was also in this amazing indie film that came out last year called "Little Accidents" that I'm obsessed with.
