I genuinely was gonna try and force a "Taylor" on you because let's be real here, it's the perfect name (like Amy my family thought I could be a boy but alternate universe me was... still going to be Taylor...), but I legit read "Hunter" and got kinda verklempt! I love it! Clint would have been fun. Just so his fun internet aunt (yes I just gave myself that title deal with it) could send him hilarious things like this...

I think that has a lot to do with the fact that we both could see where each other was coming from but had such different life experiences that colored our opinions. Not to bring up the past but I just wanted to say since I never properly did a year and a half ago that I think June's use of that phrase was crossing the line and kinda undermined any argument she was trying to make in that episode and therefore I think put a cloud over the sexual harassment conversation. Anyway this thread is still making me angry so I'm retreating to the shadows again EDIT: WAIT! I can't retreat to the shadows without saying that YOU ARE ONE OF MY FAVORITE-EST PEOPLE TOO CAMERON H!

I had another shitty week and this thread is making me want to punch things.

But comedy is subjective, not objective. Not everyone is going to think the same person is funny, but it's also not a valid criticism if we're being honest. You can criticize someone's actual joke telling process if you feel like maybe they're just being lazy and could actually be funny if they worked on some things, but just saying, "They aren't funny," has no value. Personally, Cameron has made me laugh harder than a lot of comedians I've seen get one hour specials, but I also know that not everyone has the same kind of humor so not everyone is going to laugh at her jokes. And telling people that do like her and are fans of her that they just aren't "acknowledging her lack of comedic chops" sounds super degrading and disrespectful. This isn't just you, since there are now three pages of people complaining about her and you actually do point out that a lot of the things said clearly have an unfair bias to them.

I'm only 15 minutes in and I'm already legitimately crying and my coworker was like, "WHY DID I LEAVE MY HEADPHONES AT HOME!?" Seeing some of the responses here about Cameron are making me real angry so I'm just gonna ignore those and continue this episode, because she's amazing and this episode is already one of my all time favorites (maybe even beats out Sleepaway Camp???)

I saw a shit ton of black lash back when she was initially casted in the role. But as with everything with the internet it died down and people became up in arms about the next bull shit decision made by Hollywood.

He also straight up shoots a few of those Russian thugs but an argument could be made that he doesn't go for the "kill" shot, however it's definitely a departure from Nolan's "No guns!" Batman. And

What's funny is I've seen people say that Batman doesn't kill people in BvS in order to defend how good it is. Which makes me sit here like okay he definitely does but that doesn't have to mean it's automatically a shitty movie so can we all just calm our tits and open our eyes just at least a bit.

I'm in that club too! Nice to know I'm not alone. Read her solo stuff by Kelly Sue DeConnick! It's AMAZING! Makes me really really hope that's the direction they're going to go for the movie. Also: I love out of context comic panels! I liked the first SS trailer but my interest is not very high. I'm not a huge Bendylip Cucumber fan so as soon as he got cast I decided I really didn't give a shit about Doctor Strange either. But I'll probably still end up seeing both of them anyway.

So basically is it not good to buy the movie you think will do the best at the box office if it's crazily over-priced?

I keep switching everything around because after seeing what they considered to be "the perfect" cineplex for last week I am quite confused.

This just kind of confuses me. I haven't seen this flip at all and I'm going through their episodes and Fast Five, Crank, and Punisher were all within their first 20 episodes. It's been part of their repertoire since the beginning to do crazy current action films that they actually enjoyed but are still over the top and known to be ridiculous. Plus calling Twilight an action movie that you can't make fun of is mind boggling in and of itself lol. Not to mention it's really unfair to judge the fact that they did Con-Air and Face/Off when Jason actually had prevented them from doing those for so long because he enjoyed them so much, but it was us (the audience) that convinced them because they're still bat shit insane. These are the movies they've covered within the last ~6 months. In my opinion, some of these have been so bad that they can't have fun making fun of them (for example Top Dog, Perfect, Streets of Fire, and The Covenant). I'm not trying to say that you have to enjoy those episodes where they love the movie, because everyone has different tastes and that's cool, but saying that there has been this flip in the movies they cover just doesn't seem to be accurate.
