I agree! I wish I wasn't too cheap to get the tournament of champions episodes because I would love to hear him and Samm Levine be super serious about the games all the time lol. Yes this episode was great and the gang did a seriously great job of covering the movie, but daaamn.

LET'S! GET! WEIRD! I was gonna swing by and mention the Stellar Skateboard when that episode aired last week but I didn't want to spoil that surprise because it definitely made me pause because I was laughing so hard. I think it's even better when Paul has to take the mic away because he gets the giggles and you can still hear him in the background.

Variety just posted an article saying that Rondo Rousey signed on to take Patrick Swayze's role in a Road House remake! What do y'all think about this development? Someone tried to do a sequel in 2006 and it went straight to DVD (I only found out about that when Doug Benson did an interruption of it with the Master Pancake crew here in Texas). So to think that anything could top the 1989 classic with Patrick is insane! But then again I love Ronda and think she could be good with the right movie.

I expect everyone to be as invested in this development as I am so I am here to report that Variety got an exclusive on the fact that Nick Cassavetes will be writing and directing this feature starring Ronda. I didn't even remember him from Face/Off but he was definitely in it. He has done some pretty good films but he's also done some real piles of shit so we're basically at a 50/50 chance that this will be decent.

You're very right. It felt to me that leading up to that moment, though, they heavily implied that women were evil and it would be this love for a dude that brought goodness into her. Maybe the whole point was that she was learning for herself that that isn't true, but I was already so fed up with the movie that by that point I was like okay why did I do this to myself I'm just going to look at my phone and tune out for a bit. I for sure agree with you about the dinner scene but in my opinion none of the movie really flowed very well to me at all. I was constantly confused about character development (mostly just their developing relationships because it seemed one moment the girl didn't know this person and in the next scene she's telling them all of her secrets), and really even more confused about why the main guy was there 90% of the time. I'm glad the movie was better than the book, because honestly how many times can we ever say that, but that only furthers my questioning as to why the fuck this got made lol. Maybe (probably not) I will give this another watch and see if I still feel the same way about it (probably).

Cameron, your logic seems pretty sound regarding the death of her parents. The death also makes me question how old she really was supposed to be? Was she already 18 when they died? Was she not under anyone's guardianship? So many damn questions. But to further June and Tatiana's point about them saving the plane in the portal; I genuinely had the same thought as well. I kept thinking that maybe - (Interstellar spoilers???) But I guess that all of us had way high expectations.
