@Shannon would this be the best spot to mention things we miss about the old forums? Or just general suggestions to make this work best for everyone? I was only wondering if we could get back the option to not have "edited by taylorannephoto at x time" when we edit a post. I hate having the whole world be aware that I make a ton of typos and can't spell and have to go back and fix all of my posts lol. -
I have to admit when I first started watching Spotlight I thought it was just gonna be another Oscar bait drama that I view as so-so (A la Bridge of Spies) but almost immediately I was sucked in and was actually sad to see it end. I was so enraptured with this story and how these writers had to deal with being believed, and getting victims to go on record, and finding the right time to publish, that the hours flew by and I was left wanting more. I also am more mad now that Mark Rylance won over Mark Ruffalo that year for Best Supporting Actor.

According to Paul's Instagram post about said quote, he meant that no matter where you're at there's someone that likes Bud Light and that's how he feels about Shawshank. It's gonna always be available to the masses and universally held as something liked by people. Jonah Ray even commented on it and said, "Bud Light is great," and Paul responded, "As an active Bud Light drinker, I agree. My argument is that Bud Light is indisputable everyone can drink it."

Turns out they put a lot of introductory cards about Keaton and the production before the movie actually began. No fucking idea why, but that's why I was scared the other's cut out scenes. I was wrong but don't regret the choice. (Also can't even remember anything said on the cards whoops.)

Absolutely! I thought of this one first actually but couldn't think what I would replace it with. I picked Get Out instead to replace The French Connection just because I feel like Get Out represents the Horror genre which is sadly overlooked in this list, and it's really one of the first Horror movies to get critical acclaim! Plus it re-invents the genre and will forever be referenced, which is what we've all said about TFC.

Fister even tweeted at me once and was like telling me how disappointed he was that I didn't write a review for "I Don't Feel At Home in this World Anymore" because he wanted to know all of my feelings (they were positive), but sometimes I'm honestly like "YES I LIKED THIS MOVIE" and that's basically all the review I would write lol. -

The amount of times y'all get me laughing with literally one word reviews makes me think that I would never say it either lol. I decided to love myself and not watch this last night like I had planned, but from the podcast it sounds like it's missing an original plot, coherent editing, and good music. -
I checked my work's internal system to see what these movies are classified as and Fairbanks' Robin Hood is classified as an Adventure and The General is classified as a Comedy. However, I think we're all in agreement that this is as much a comedy as any of the Fast & Furious movies are.
