Oh hell no, there's no way 45 would have any clearance on this kind of information. Supposedly there's a group made up of certain people that do gain access including H.W. Bush and Cheney (including some CEOs of companies). It of course all has to do with oil and renewable resources because they're all more concerned with the people finding out that aliens have amazing technology rather than the aliens themselves. If they can get alien ships that literally never need to be refilled, then how do all the oil tycoons make their money? And that's shit I can totally see happening because look at what they do to Earth for oil... Okay, that's where I stop before I get even more political lol!

I think this is why I have such little fondness for the Bratz. I support them in their endeavor to destroy clique culture and be friends despite having such different interests (I guess no totally different interests since they're all lovers of fashion), but they care so little about what other people are into and come off more narcissistic than anything. And I'm thinking that there actually are a lot of schools that require assigned seating, and what if that had been a school mandated rule and they just waltzed in ignoring everything and then yelled at the girl trying to make sure they knew this was a rule? I hated this movie I don't even know what I'm doing here.

Omg they never talked about the signs all around school! I thought that was going to come up in the movie as this big deal like they were actually being treated like prisoners and this was like some "1984" or "They Live" conversation but it literally was never brought up. How disappointing.

Chloe is actually the one presented as the "poor" one because her mother has to work for the rich girl in school as a maid / cook in order to make ends meet. Then they all give Chloe the scholarship at the end because "she wouldn't go to college without one." Even though I agree with June that Chloe had the biggest chance of getting a scholarship anyway through her soccer abilities. (Jade might have gotten an academic one as well if we're being honest.)

I was actually thinking this same thing while watching! She honestly gave people groups to belong to and I didn't see anyone being discouraged about the areas they were being placed!

I honestly hadn't heard the aliens part until just recently either when Dr. Greer went on Bizarre States, but good lord does he make compelling statements! The one I was more familiar with was that she was killed because of how much she knew about the Cuban Missile Crisis. I totally think it's known now that she had an affair with both John and Bobby, and they were forced to break up with her to keep their upstanding husband images in tact. So apparently that's why she was going to the press because she was heartbroken over being forced to stop seeing them.

I believe that Meredith is a year older than the Bratz because when her father mentions "there's always next year" in terms of the talent show she responds "this is my last year," and the Bratz were all parking in the "juniors" section (which seems to have the best parking spots...) She also mentions A LOT that she is the student body president which is how I'm assuming she got her power, but that wouldn't make a lot of sense because there would be a president for each grade with the senior president being the one to run student council. They make it seem like there is only one person for each role and somehow Meredith beat out everyone else all four years. I wonder if it's because not only was her father the principle but everyone actually seemed relatively happy in their groups. Like no one challenged anything about this system until the Bratz came along. How many friendships did Meredith ruin without anyone questioning her???

I would love to know if there are any listeners on this board that are younger than I am, because a lot of the times I feel like the youngest, and I was already too old for this movie when it came out - being the exact age as the girls in the movie... Spice World was definitely my movie because of exactly what Jason was saying - I was 7 when that came out and I was head over heels for everything Spice Girls related (however I still argue that shit holds up). But Bratz the dolls came out a full 6 years before this movie was made, and I wonder if by 2007 their popularity had lessened. Because my sister would have been the right age for this movie and she just didn't seem interested in them at this point.

It's Thursday and the conversation has died down... So I think it's conspiracy theory time! So there's the classic thing that I think (and hope) everyone knows - Marilyn did not commit suicide. First of all, without anything else, I genuinely don't think she was trying to die. I think it was the situation where she had a fuckin cocktail of drugs handed to her and she just wanted to feel good, and accidentally overdosed. But with everything else... I genuinely think she was murdered by the government... For reaching out to the press to spill secrets on aliens... WE'RE GETTING DEEP INTO IT! There's this guy, Dr. Steven M. Greer, who wrote a book and then made a documentary called "The Unacknowledged" that has a TON of really compelling data about aliens in this country, and how the president may not even have clearance to know the things that are going on. He mentions that Carter, Reagan, Clinton, and Obama all tried to gain access and were all denied. Carter was even told, "If you want to ever have a second term you'll stop asking about this." Anyway, he says he has proof that Marilyn reached out to a reporter and said that she wanted to go public with information on Area 51 that JFK had spoken to her about. 3 days later she was found dead, and a day after that the reporter was found dead. And the entire call was recorded on tape because Marilyn was being tapped by the government. It's crazy but when I heard him mention that I literally threw off my headphones and just went "I FUCKING KNEW IT!" It just didn't seem right that guys in suits were actually seen going into her home before police got there like that shit doesn't seem right!!!

Honestly I can't tell... According to IMDB they had it's last season 2011 but they say it's still currently airing? Oh wait Wikipedia says the original series aired from 2005-2008 with periodic specials after that. Then it just got a revival this past May.

Yeeaaahhhh when they came out in 2001 my friend got me Jade (who I literally forgot was Jade until I looked up the actual dolls again) and my mom got me Yasmin for my birthday... I bet somewhere in my mom's garage are those dolls amidst a bunch of Barbies lol.
