    Another note about her - she was catfished and made it onto the MTV show and it's a crazy interesting episode and you get to hear her rehearsing for another project and she still sounds amazing.

    I think this is where getting older as an artist helped me understand his thought process a little better. I imagine it's something like a writer being offered a job at BuzzFeed. They're #theworst but they give you a good paycheck soooo do you take it or do you stick to your principles? In this day and age it would have been much easier for him to make money doing what he was doing but that could also make him feel like he was selling out. I've heard a lot of bands in particular say that for a long time the thought of making money at all made them uncomfortable because it felt like selling out.     Same!!! Also if y'all hadn't mentioned it I think I would have honestly missed that entire plot because the way it is sung does not sound like she is killing a dog at all. Plus with the amount of times I've listened to La Vie Boheme I legit never put two and two together that is was the same fuckin' thing. I thought they were just still really sad about Eva Peron dying LOL.

    Man I always thought Tom was post college age rather than around 22 or so. Cause he mentions teaching at NYU and you would need at least a Master's degree for that. I always assumed he was working on a PhD or something in Boston and his theory was too risque for them so they kicked him out (which is crazy dumb). I never once believed Mimi was actually 19 but I guess I could suspend my disbelief to say that the drugs made her a "hard 19" lol.

    I remember the first time I saw this in high school I thought that "Light My Candle" was the dumbest song in the fuckin' world. I have lightened up my stance on that but I still don't want to revisit it really. Actually everything Roger & Mimi sing I don't want to revisit ever. (Nothing to do with voices because I thought Rosario sounded beautiful but their songs are booooring.) My faves are still forever and ever "La Vie Boheme" and "Take Me or Leave Me"

    Okay I did think because of that injury he was just imagining Joanne having the same issues as him because he was a jealous ex. Oh and as per usual the amount of times people laughed whenever they found out Maureen was now with a woman and called her a lesbian despite the fact that she was clearly attracted to men AND women really bothered me. *shrugs*

    It seemed like there wasn't a woman in town that Angel didn't know. First issue - it seemed like Angel knew immediately that Roger had AIDs right? Biggest issue - Angel calls out Thelma & Louise in her intro song but that didn't come out until 1991. Was it based on a book that I totally missed in all these years? Final issue - Just everything about Roger. I disliked him a lot, I'm sorry.

    She's on Riverdale now and I didn't recognize her at all until I saw her name and went, "Wait who the fuck is Madchen playing, oh my god Betty's mom!?" Now of course that I know I recognize her but she definitely disappeared for a while and then just reappeared as a blonde looking PTA mom lol.

    I didn't watch S1 if that makes you feel better? But S2 was so solid and I'm mad Kirsten Dunst didn't get all of the awards cause she was the best I've seen her maybe ever.

    I legit can't remember when I spoke about it lol. But yeah I'm all aboard the Legion train. The difference is that it did hook me immediately because of the style & cinematography (shocker) but the story was lacking for me for a chunk of episodes. After that it finally picked back up and I was on board again. So I don't doubt that it couldn't keep audiences because of that. Honestly, it's difficult to even recommend a show to someone and say, "okay the 2nd & 3rd episode are meh but after that it gets better I promise." I wasn't even planning on watching it at all because I have the same feelings about the X-Men franchise as Cameron, but I knew it was the same people involved in Fargo, and both Dan Stevens and Aubrey Plaza pick interesting projects so I was willing to give it a try. Thus here we are lol. (Also SUPER on board the Riverdale train which is something I genuinely never thought I would say but I fucking love that show).
