    I have been laughing for 5 straight minutes no joke omg ETA: I grew up around my WWII vet grandfather who literally had no filter what so fuckin' ever and also did not gage what I should and should not watch lol. So basically my whole family has a horrible filter and once my mom was taking my cousins and me out to eat and she had got caught at a red light and just went, "Oh God dammit," and my little baby cousin from her car seat just in the squeakiest voice said, "God dammit!" and I am still laughing about it 15 years later tbh.

    OMG as in the drag star!? She just did a production of Beetlejuice: The Peaches Christ Experience with Bianca Del Rio in San Francisco and I hate that I didn't get to see it!

    AH! Good choice!!! I've only ever gotten to see this once and it was actually when my uncle played guitar in the orchestra when the University of North Texas put this on. It was still amazing and I can't wait to watch this! (Also I digress but there's gotta be a Book of Mormon movie deal in the works, right???)

    I was actually a fan of Glee for the first two seasons until Ryan Murphy just shat on the whole show. So I have no issues with her being on that show, but they already had her be Idina Menzel's daughter and she sang Defying Gravity and now it feels too on the nose. Plus the few interviews I've seen her do just make her out to be the kind of person who is very fond of herself. So I'd rather them just... not.

    Beat me to it! There's absolutely no fucking reason why they couldn't have used her size to her ADVANTAGE and have her be more nimble than Keanu. Plus the fuckin' 20 year difference would give her an upper hand. Also all of that said I did genuinely love that movie and loved that Ruby was casted for that part.

    Yeah I agree with you. I do like that she's in most of the movie and speaking sign language which is awesome, but that last fight scene was really disappointing. When she started spinning around with the knife I was like "YAS" and then it was over. Like it was so cool that she popped up so many times being unheard and I wish they had highlighted that and made it more known that her character was hoh (which I'm assuming based on the sign language). I think that she killed what she was given, but I always want more of her. Really more queer non-binary people in general, but Ruby Rose yes puh-lease.

    Guess what, I'm still stuck on Ruby Rose (cause I just saw John Wick 2 and girl was killin' it) Why wasn't she the DJ? Like it's super cool they made her be a sniper and then do some super awesome stuff but if they had a DJ character then like... it should have also just been her. Combine the two gdi it's not like a sniper can't also be good with music. I mean SHE IS A WORKING DJ! I'm just wanting more things for her to do. She's awesome.

    I didn't actually get to see this movie so purely going off of what was discussed in the podcast - was Ruby Rose barely in this movie at all??? Like the only reason I would have gone to see it is for her being a total badass (because if we're going to talk about the most attractive person on screen it's her every time). So if she's not even really in it then I declare this movie to be traaaaaash!

    Oh my "whaaaat" was in reaction to this so called sequel??? I mean some have said that the Valentine's Day and New Year's Eve are kinda like the American sequels to it but those were fucking horrendous and I don't want them ever associated.

    Whaaaaaaat??? Love Actually is a Christmas tradition in my family. Every Christmas Eve my mom and I come home from a yearly party and then put that on and it's one of my fave traditions.

    Speaking of Paco - I didn't realize it until my rewatch that he is played by Logan Marshall-Green of Prometheus fame and was the star of my fave movie last year The Invitation.
