    Oh yeah that's what I was talking about. I thought maybe there was another scene I missed. To me I didn't get the sense that he took Tommy there as a right of passage. Rather that he was forced to keep Tommy around him because no one else could watch him, and it's not like Tommy would know where Frank was taking him. Then that other dude that actually worked there was kinda like hey I got an idea... Tina Turner.

    I think Frank brings him there when he visits it but it was the other dude who suggested they let Tina Turner have her way with Tommy. But Frank could still actually work there. He seemed to know the ends and outs of everything before they let Tommy get drugged and abused.

    I think it just shows how dumb all these people are in this movie. It's not like he was really blind and deaf and was cured of some illness. He's basically telling everyone in those wheelchairs and anyone with illnesses flocking to him for help that they can just cure themselves. Or I guess they can be cured if their mother breaks a giant mirror and they throw a bunch of diamonds into the ocean? So these people are just throwing money at him for some false prophet motivational speaker shit and then get REALLY angry when it doesn't work for them. They really should have seen that coming all along.

    The only people I've met who have heard of them outside of Texas seem to be huge music nerds. Jonah Ray likes to ask every guest on his podcast from Texas whether or not they are fans of them because he doesn't think anyone out of Texas likes them at all lol.     Holy shit y'all! Not Canadian but Raffi was actually fuckin' legit when I was a kid! I actually was eating an apple the other day and my cat seemed super interested in it so I started singing Apples and Bananas at him because that song has literally never left my brain. Also on the kids songs side of things - Trout Fishing in America was played a lot in my family lol.

    Okay, what in the hell??? What did I fucking watch!? Like I knew the movie was crazy but this is next level bonkers shit and I'm genuinely wondering why it hasn't been done for the podcast yet. But then I think about June and she would have fucking haaaated this movie. I'm still very confused as to how Tommy became blind, deaf, and dumb... Was he just traumatized so much that his body reacted that way? Cause they show his mom and Frank yelling at him that he didn't see or hear anything and then boom he literally can't see or hear anything. Cause that really makes sense... ??? Then later on Christmas his mother is singing about he's never known Jesus and he'll never be saved? Lady you had what appears to be around 8 whole years of this kid hearing and seeing you so that's on you for not talking to him about religion. And I know Cam Bert talked about how we got two back to back scenes of him being abused but honestly we got 3 because Tina Turner straight up drugs him and rapes him. That's some fuuuucked up shit this movie keeps doing to this guy.
