I can't believe that I forgot to mention this in the Shadow thread but every time "what evil lurks in the hearts of men" was mentioned I immediately pictured a Mr. PFT and a Ms. Paget Brewster. According to IMDB he is a descendant of a line of African superheroes. At the beginning the little boy is taken in by an indigenous tribe that could be on any island, but IMDB seems stuck that it's an African island. Although, apparently they did film in Thailand and Australia...

I just found out that was one of the cars used in the original film? Like we were all supposed to immediately recognize the car? By far one of the weirder moments.

I couldn't finish it. It's kinda the same experience I had with the second one where I cared so little about the story they were trying to write that I couldn't make it to the huge sharknado climax.

I, personally, did not think this movie was rad. I was really bored most of the time and have a ton of notes ready. Basically I rewrote the entire movie to be about Kristy and Catharine and wrote out Billy Zane because he's fucking useless.

I'm halfway through and all I want is a movie about Kristy Swanson and Catharine Zeta's obvious perfect sexual tension.

If those estimates stay this weekend then it will totally make up for last week

They'll always churn out this shit. I'm more curious about the actual Sharknado horse, though, cause there's no way it survives after this one. Since I was given the Syfy lineup of new shark movies for this week to find the posters I can tell you what concepts they're going with. Dam Sharks - A number of bloodthirsty, unusual sharks build dams with human bodies. Ice Sharks - A research base in the Arctic is attacked by sharks that can smash their way through ice. Ozark Sharks - A Family goes on a vacation to the Ozarks, but the trips turns upside-down when bull sharks somehow infiltrate the freshwater lakes of Arkansas and wreak havoc during the fireworks festival. Planet of the Sharks - In the near future, glacial melting has caused water to submerge 98% of land, causing an environment where sharks have dominated the planet led by a mutated alpha shark. Also y'all don't forget to look out for the anticipated sequel starring the Gutes - 2 Lava 2 Lantula!!!

That's exactly what my mindset was too. And depending on when June has the baby the minis could very well be back to the days when Paul recorded them in their bathroom.

I think I will, actually. I don't feel like they'll do it (even though I'm on the YAY side of that) but I'm curious to see how much they beat this dead horse.

Oh I'm just genuinely afraid of zombies lol, especially running ones. I'm pretty sure I even ruined a date once cause he wanted to watch Dawn of the Dead and I refused and said literally any other horror movie would do and he said nah lol. Suffice to say that night did not lead to any other dates lol. I'm slowly working through this by watching The Walking Dead cause they're slow and the people are way scarier anyway.

I don't have the opportunity to see a ton but when one really peaks my interest I go out of my way to see it. I'm not planning to see either of those though, because funny enough I can not handle zombie movies or outbreak type movies as well as some other stuff. Actually I just read a longer synopsis of The Wailing and it seems way more interesting and different than the short little drabble made it appear to be. I may have to seek this out! Or hope it starts streaming! (Gah I just checked online and it isn't showing anywhere close to me. Shame.)
