    EPISODE 36 - A Dinner Theater

Ben Garant's Earwolf picture has changed since he did this episode, and as I swoop in for my second listen I just want to say that I approve. The new pic makes him look like a detective who busts sexual predators, but is also himself a sexual predator. I also recently saw a headshot of Paul where he looks dapper, handsome and very charismatic, but without the moustache I felt like I was looking at a complete stranger. I will re-find that headshot and post it below these words. Also, I'm sincerely sorry if this is somehow offensive (I never know these days) but I'm just going to say what I feel: every single episode of Spontaneanation could be used as evidence against the claim that females aren't funny (not that any such evidence is necessary). I have come to absolutely adore some comedians, such as Janet Varney and Colleen Smith, that I probably wouldn't have appreciated without Spontaneanation. Don't get me wrong, I love that racist squirrel from NYSU and Ginny West from Sparks Nevada, but Spontaneanation has really allowed me to value these talented comedians on a different level. Oh, and fucking Sarah Burns, I'm just gonna be honest and say I had no idea who she was before Spontaneanation, now I'm convinced she's one of the funniest people on the planet. Stephanie Courtney was fantastic and I was already a big fan of Annie Savage, and of course I love many other guests, these are just some of the names that come to mind as I reflect on how fucking awesome this show is. With regards to this episode specifically, I felt like Colleen really asserted herself more than ever and took control of the narrative in a great way. I'm really noticing it on my second listen. One last thing while I write stuff that nobody is ever going to read: I still lament Speakeasy because Paul is such a damn good interviewer. This may sound like an exaggeration but I mean it 100% sincerely: Paul is only second to Howard Stern in how great he is at interviewing a guest. I've never come across anyone better. Paul is like the anti-Stern in a way, because he keeps things relatively light and funny while still managing to create a very interesting interview, whereas Stern attempts to disarm his guests and get as deep as possible. I don't mean to say that Paul can't dig deep, he often does, but I think he does it in a funny and comfortable environment whereas Stern seems to coerce people into letting their guard down. All things considered, Paul might actually be even better than Howard Stern when it comes to interviewing a guest. I'm one of the people who asked for a musical episode, and I feel like I got it. It seems like Paul really steered it in that direction so I'm very grateful for that, but I still hope there's more musical episodes in the future!

EPISODE 14 - Danielle Schneider - Spotlight On: Rhonda DeLuce

"You're not Jessica Rabbit, you're just a fucking teacher!" When Listler gets pissed, I lose it.

Episode 323 — Pie Quiz with Tears for Fears

Relistening to this one, it actually made me cringe when Scott said "eponymous".

EPISODE 35 - The Moon Landing Taping, 1969

Wow, that location suggestion really shoots from the hip! I can't wait to listen to this one, so I won't.

EPISODE 387 — Most Multiple Personalities

Wow, is this Gemberling's best CBB appearance ever? Hard to choose but that was really funny. The music was great too!

EPISODE 34 - Parking Garage: Live from Largo

That and what I said are not mutually exclusive, but I sarcastically appreciate an Earwolf mod's attempt to pick a fight.

EPISODE 34 - Parking Garage: Live from Largo

In response to the new host of Speakeasy, "JESUS WEPT!!!" I'll probably still watch it though, I like Russell Peters. Since he was a previous guest, I wonder if he was like "hey I really like this, I should be doing this" and then contacted Made Man. I'd hate it if this decision was made by anyone other than Paul, but sometimes that's the reality of it. Also Tyres I have no idea if that's true, just the first show that popped into my head when I imagined Jeremy Carter as Donald Trump talking to a puppet hairpiece. I didn't mean to sound rude, I'm just as curious as you and I'd like to see that show, whatever it is!

EPISODE 34 - Parking Garage: Live from Largo

I assume it hasn't come out yet, that shave looked fresh! Maybe someone will have an answer, though. I just can't think of any shows that feature people talking to puppets...

EPISODE 34 - Parking Garage: Live from Largo

You're not kidding! That dress is really something, I'd wager Paul appreciated it. I'm commenting before starting the improv, but that monologue and interview were fantastic! I think Paul always shines even more when he's in front of an audience.

    EPISODE 380 — A Colinary Journey

This is just insane, I came here to say the same thing. I'm glad they are OK, this is horrible.
  14. This episode would make much more sense if we didn't have to cut that part near the middle
  15. "Before & After" is my favorite category on Wheel of Fortune because I'm incapable of living in the moment and it's ruining my life
  16. I was raised a fighter, mama taught me not to bleed. Now I'm a catchphrase writer with a thousand mouths to feed
  17. I refuse to take part in a moment of silence because I don't think that's what our vets fought for. I do a moment of slamming shots and banging chicks. Freedom.
  18. Trigger warning! If you offend me I'll shoot you.
  19. Yes, hello? I'd like my money back for these Bare Naked Ladies tickets. What, this is a Dairy Queen? Let me speak to your manager.

I be 'snowsher' - so no Bjork on this spork

How much Bjork could a Yorke dork pork if a Yorke dork could pork Bjork?

Funk me, sunk me, groovy battleship

^ Edit: Oops I thought this was in catchphrase suggestions. This is embarrassing. Maybe a mod can move this?

    All Comedy Is White Privilege

If you're a white person, to even laugh at anything in this society is an expression of white privilege. If you're anything other than a white person, performing comedy within a framework of systematic oppression and otherness is racist towards oneself and promotes whites as the dominate race. Discuss.
  23. Guicemann, you've done it again! Everything I've seen from you is incredible. I didn't come here to say that though, I'm here after finishing the episode for the 3rd or 4th time to say that I just realized Don DiMello sounds exactly like a ghoul from Fallout when Don's voice goes low. I'm sure that has been said before, but I only just made the connection. It's actually uncanny.

    EPISODE 31 - Wine Tasting

Janet Varney? Also, that Swedish Meatgalls page is truly amazing. Funny and strange and if it were a TV show, I'd watch that (clink).
