Episode 70 — Seth Morris, Our Close Employee
Darbler Cheesegarbler replied to agata's topic in Hollywood Handbook
FUCK THIS SHOW!!! I'd rather listen to people talk about the Guardians of the Galaxy soundtrack for an hour. -
Episode 332 — What Winsome Said
Darbler Cheesegarbler replied to JulyDiaz's topic in Comedy Bang Bang
Please, someone send a message to Wompler's stepdad and get him to pay for Dabney to do some caricatures at the next anniversary/birthday party. -
I'm right there with ya bud, sorry if I singled you out. I'm annoyed by haters in the exact same way, but I'm also guilty of being negative sometimes so I've really changed my tune. As bad as some "fanboys" can be, the defensive fans can be just as hateful toward anyone with a dissenting opinion. I think we're all friends here by default, because we must share a sense of humor and probably a bunch of other traits, so I'd rather find some common ground than become divided! GayHammer, I was actually defending the complaints but at the same time questioning the merits of complaining about a particular guest on a show like CBB. I'm not trying to shame or censor anyone, just countering their opinion with my own. But yeah, I can see how that's the exact same as telling someone to shut up as I police the Earwolf forums. On that note, aren't you shaming and policing me by bringing it up? I've disliked guests too and some recent comedians didn't make me laugh once, but I just decided to leave them out of my positive comments. Edit: GayHammer, you edited your comment without specifying that you edited your comment, even after someone responded to you. I see now that you're a badboy of forum etiquette and I bow to your superior coolness.

Having an opinion doesn't really make someone a vicious asshole, but I think when it comes to free, high-quality entertainment people should always give guests the benefit of the doubt. Someone else already summed it up really well: Jackinoff wasn't really on board, Scott did a great job keeping it going at its usual pace, and then the Pit Stop crew had me laughing the whole time. I think if Jackinoff came back, he'd be much more into it (it being CBB); I mean, he didn't know the format or even that it was all one episode. I can understand why people would hate on him, especially if they already don't like his music, but again... Czech yourself, because this is free comedy and we generally like to keep the boards fun. and happy. Unless someone calls Lapkus cute, then it's FEMINIST WARS II: The Feminning!

EPISODE 237 — BALL DOCTORING
Darbler Cheesegarbler replied to JulyDiaz's topic in Sklarbro Country
I didn't think so... It was a bit confusing to see him in the episode description and listed as a guest, but then he's not in the pictures and I didn't hear him at all. I also don't think he was involved in making What We Do In The Shadows. Great episode nonetheless! I really recommend the movie to anyone who may read this and hasn't seen it yet. -

Was Bret Mckenzie actually in this episode? -
Episode 332 — What Winsome Said
Darbler Cheesegarbler replied to JulyDiaz's topic in Comedy Bang Bang
Yeah, the technical (ity no orca splashover) term for it is dirtcart. I don't think wheelbarrel has ever been a thing, Scott was probably just trying to spare Kyle's feelings. Winsome is a word though, meaning "attractive or appealing in appearance or character" as in "a winsome smile". It would be nice to see Winsome smile some more, but I understand that he's pretty broken up about Pangaea and losing many of his friends and lovers, including both dinosaurs and stars. -

Grepisode, but fucking Neil Campbell... I can't believe this guy isn't internationally mega-famous. He makes me cry from laughing, almost every appearance. "Jesus, that old Capricorn" is one of the funniest things I've ever heard anyone say, and that was just a few weeks ago babe! Missy and Winsome are instant classics, Fran and Neil were both killing me. -
Interview with Aukerman & Adomian
Darbler Cheesegarbler replied to ICMexican's topic in Comedy Bang Bang
James Adomian is one man anyone should trust with their likeness, even (or perhaps especially) after they're deceased. Except for maybe the Sheriff of Nottingham, he might interrogate Adomian a bit to find out how he knows so much about his life. Great interview (Aukerman + Adomian, and also the hypothetical interrogation). -
Lauren Lapkus is in Jurassic World and I want to talk about it
Darbler Cheesegarbler posted a topic in General Earwolf
The title pretty much says it all... I really want to know who she is, how she may or may not die, and/or any other juicy 'sclusies I can get my hands on. Is anybody else curious about this? Is there a chance that "Vivian" (Lauren's character) is one of the raptors and Lauren Lapkus will be lending her voice to the first one who learns how to speak? Will Vivian be eaten by the genetically modified dinosaur, rumored to be a mix of the deadliest traits of several dinosaurs? Is Vivian a love interest of Anna Faris's husband's character? Is Vivian a love interest of Ron Howard's daughter's character? I have so many questions. -

I love the eclectic style and I can't wait for more. The ho ratio on this podcast is great. It's like, 3 hos for every 1 guy. I loved Episode #0 from Raj and Schwaz too, but it disappeared again. Here it is: https://soundcloud.c...christmas-today -
Just downloaded all three episodes so that nobody can take them away from me... I will report back when I've listened to the two I haven't listened to yet. This is pretty exciting for a Tuesday night.

Set phrasers to catch
Darbler Cheesegarbler replied to Darbler Cheesegarbler's topic in New Catchphrase Suggestions
"Set phrasers to catch or, set your DVR to catch Frasier." is my new submission, a team effort by both myself and Jotchua. Maybe the first ever two-person catchphrase submission? -
I posted my last comment halfway through, now I'm done. I'm pretty sure this is my favorite Mike Hanford appearance, and he makes me laugh hard every time he's on (his professional skier immediately comes to mind). There was something about the accent bouncing around so much (I swear at one point he sounded like a redneck), the fact he's a rotting zombie, and so much more, that just really worked for me as a character. The whole gang was great, but he had me laughing hysterically and Scott and crew asked some perfect questions. I sincerely hope John Lennon returns, maybe as one of this year's Christmas ghosts, but then again I'd also like to see whatever other ridiculousness Hanford has on deck. I also agree with the comment about all three Workaholics on CBB, and I'd love to see them come on the show in character as the wizards. You can see some really early Wizards stuff on YouTube, from before Workaholics, and I know they actually tried to pitch their Wizards stuff hard to Comedy Central but all CC wanted was Workaholics. I feel like Comedy Bang! Bang! is the perfect place for them to get into the Wizards and explore the characters in a public setting, and they could even crossover to the TV show very nicely. Grepisode!

Not sure about the technical details, but it would be pretty funny if he's doing this to pass the time from a comfortable, low-security prison cell.

Variations on the name "Scott Aukerman"
Darbler Cheesegarbler replied to Darbler Cheesegarbler's topic in Comedy Bang Bang
Easily one of my favorites: -
I think it would be funny to make a list of potential alternate names for Scott, like the ones from the TV show. My contribution to the list is "SCOT Acronym" although I don't know what the acronym should stand for. Please post any names you come up with, and who knows, maybe one day we'll see them pop up in the show. I'll edit the list below as people post new names. Southern California Otter Trainers? SCOT Acronym Wet Aquaman Malt Lagerman Caulk Blockerman Talk Hosterman Bock Bockerman Pop Lockerman Snot Rocketman Fraught Clockrepairman Trot Clopperman
