He's made some headway in that regard.

This sentiment has already been insentimated a few times, but I feel compelled to say: Natasha is a top shelf first-timer. She was great, and it was also great to have Paul F. Tompkins stick around for awhile. Maybe it's just me, but for me I think he's kind of a pompous ass for treating the show like it doesn't matter. He only comes in on his best-ofs high horse, then when he finally is on the show in a regular episode, he usually leaves within 10 minutes or only pops in for the plugs. As a fan, I think it's disrespectful to the show and basically a big raunchy "fuck you" to the listeners. It's nice to finally have him on for an episode.

Thanks for the response Brett! I know you're joking about the GoPro, but that's an amazing idea... Just strap it to your forehead and hope that nobody notices. I loved the videos, but I'm more than happy with what I'm getting now. It's funny to get a response from you, because seeing you interact with everyone was a great part of the videos! I'll just continue to use my ear holes and consider any future chance to use my eyeballs a big b-b-bonus.

Episode 315 β Sandwich Therapy

The crazy thing though is that he actually does! I've noticed Jason Mantzoukas is also really good at it, in CBB and HDTGM. But I share your fury that they don't remember every detail. I feel like it's an insult to the fans, the guests, and to God. -

No Full House love from Scott, I felt a bit of my soul slip away when he said he's never seen it. What about Family Matters? Fresh Prince?! I guess he was too busy getting laid with sex to care about family-friendly television. Great episode so far though, my only regret is that I don't get to hear Dane Cook and H.R. Giger talk about the inky darkness in their souls together. Maybe one day. -
I don't know about you, but that clit is giving me eastwood.

Scott Aukerman's: Comedians Covering Comedy!

I think Scott's idea to have comedians do the bits of other comedians is really interesting and could be hilarious. What are some of the pairings of comedians and bits that you would love to see? -

I have to strongly disagree, because the order the restaurant was built has just been spoiled. Unless that number is completely randomized, then I think you're right on the money. Although knowing that it's a restaurant is a bit of a spoiler itself... The year of our lord. -

nic cage wearing a nic t-shirt
Darbler Cheesegarbler replied to firsttimecallerlongtimelistenr's topic in How Did This Get Made?
I honestly knew before I clicked on this thread that it was going to be a horrible mistake, but in reality I would've seen that Nic Cage suit eventually so I guess it's not a big deal... -
I saw this episode as a video on Earwolf's YouTube, it was my first experience with Ronna & Beverly. Now that I've listened to pretty much every episode with only a few exceptions, this still remains one of my favorite episodes. If you haven't watched the video, I highly recommend that you do! They also talk about how Jim looks like Steven Soderbergh and Moby, but they missed a big one... Bald Weird Al.

I've always thought of Comedy Bon-Bon as a home-aid, something that aids me in my home, I've just never had the words to describe it this way. Thanks again, JW. -

The internet is real life, I hate when people treat it as anything else. This person expressed his REAL point of view. That being said, his criticism toward Cam'ron is perfectly legitimate. Using a stereotype as a crutch is something that needs to be addressed for all comedians. My favorite comedians are not guilty of using such a crutch, but adversely some of my favorite comedians, and some of their best bits, rely heavily on this crutch. This is why I don't know exactly where I stand on the argument in terms of how it's used in comedy, but I will definitely agree that it's a crutch and relying so heavily on it is a problem in terms of comedic integrity. -

I haven't listened yet, I just found the link. I just wanted to instantly express my excitement that J.W. Stillwater is back. Here's a picture I made several months ago, but I didn't share because I didn't have an Earwolf account and I feared nobody on Facebook would understand it: http://i.imgur.com/CgPGMMK.jpg- 133 replies

Episode 313 β Gumbo Challenge
Darbler Cheesegarbler replied to JulyDiaz's topic in Comedy Bang Bang
I think this has already been said, but Scott's idea about having a bunch of comedians do the bits of other comedians is fucking brilliant. That would be such an interesting night of comedy, and I can just imagine some of the pairings of comedians with bits. -

Horatio almost had me crying from laughter after being in for about 30 seconds. I'm commenting now at that point, going back for the rest... -
"My wife!" If Scott ever hears this episode, his head will explode. 5/5
